The service and help i was given was second to none

Just purchased a lovely Range Rover from Saxtons from the moment I walked through the door and walked up to the reception desk I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and the members of staff Natasha and Lee made the whole experience from start to finish very enjoyable, I also left my coat on the back seat of my old car which Natasha has kindly posted to me kind regards Brian

Avoid at all costs my £80,000 Land Rover Defender unusable, no accountability!

I purchased an £80,000 Land Rover Defender in December 2025. Within days of delivery, serious faults appeared and were reported immediately. Since early February, the vehicle has been completely off the road under manufacturer warranty, still undiagnosed, still unrepaired, and with no repair timeframe provided.

Despite this being a fault that arose almost immediately after sale, Saxton 4x4 have consistently distanced themselves from responsibility, hiding behind the manufacturer warranty rather than taking ownership as the selling dealer. Weeks turned into months of delays and continuous avoidance to accept my return of vehicle has led me to make this experience public.

What is most disappointing is not just the fault itself, issues happen, but the complete lack of accountability, urgency, or customer care once the sale was completed. I have now been forced to involve the finance company and pursue legal action simply to get a resolution.

If you are considering Saxton 4x4, I strongly recommend you think very carefully. Once they have your money, you are very much on your own.

My car purchase experience at Saxtons Chemsford has been excellent. Clean and good conditioned car collection. Good sales team and staff are friendly. The sales representative Mo was extremely professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. The viewing, test drive, answering technical queries, explaining the options etc, were top notch and I can highly recommend them for car-shopping!

This was my first time buying a car from Saxtons, it will not be the last time. From my initial enquiry with Luke, until collecting the car he was superb at explaining the vehicle and sales process. on collection the vehicle was as described and I would say even better condition.
