Extremely Disappointing Sales Interaction and Product Experience
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Salesforce’s sales team and overall product interaction.
The sales executive I spoke with abruptly ended the call mid-conversation, came across as unmotivated and discourteous, and showed little mutual respect — which was culturally surprising and unprofessional for a company of Salesforce’s global reputation.
From a product perspective, Salesforce presents itself as a leading CRM platform, but the value proposition felt weak during the discussion. While the platform is undoubtedly highly customizable, it lacks intuitive workflows, has a steep learning curve, and the user experience feels dated and non-modern.
Pricing also felt excessively high for what’s offered, particularly since even basic steps like license procurement still require manual intervention. When the sales executive said, “I can only help you get the license,” it reinforced the impression that Salesforce hasn’t automated key parts of its own sales process.
If this interaction had been about negotiating a partnership or enterprise deal, the conversation might have made sense — but being met with rudeness, a call cut short, and no clear value narrative left a lasting negative impression.
I genuinely hope Salesforce re-evaluates its sales culture, process automation, and customer experience standards. I’d prefer to avoid further interactions with the company until these areas see improvement.
Thieves
Payed for the subscription but they did not give me acces to the software. On top of that they stole all my data.

Salesforce charged me for 2 months of service when it was canceled. I have spoken to them 3 times to be told someone from their team would be calling me to resolve. NOBODY from salesforce contacts you or even follows back up to resolve. it was escalated to their billing department to only be left with no response from their team in returning emails or calls. POOR SERVICE IN EVERY DIRECTION !! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY !!
How?!?
Whenever I am using Salesforce I feel like I am going crazy.
How in 2025 in such a competitive field as CRM does the market leader manage to f*** absolutely everything up???
Absolutely nothing in Salesforce is "OK" let alone good.
I've used salesforce at a few companies and it always sucks. A UI that looks like it's from the 1990s. A complete lack of intuitive work flows & interfaces. Consistently slow at loading simple pages of text. Tiny text boxes so you can't see what you have just typed. And there must be some difficulties for administrators because I am yet to ever just log in and know what to do - every process requires some byzantine order of different fields and buttons to be clicked.
I am a natural administrator - I like to take notes on everything and add further insights and updates whenever I think further on a deal. Right now, all of that is done completely outside of salesforce.
When I was 17 in the early 2000s, I had to use MS Access to build a basic database - I swear that whatever I made was better than salesforce.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unprofessional and unethical conduct
Our company partnered with Salesforce earlier this year to integrate their CRM into our platform. From the outset, we experienced significant delays on their side, which meant we couldn’t use the system at all for several months. During this period, we were assured by two senior Salesforce representatives (one of which a director) that our licence fees would be waived until our platform went live - a reasonable and fair understanding given the circumstances.
We trusted their word. We continued development, made plans around Salesforce, and kept communication open and professional throughout. Months later, once everything was finally ready to move forward, Salesforce completely reversed their position. Their finance team rejected the agreement, claiming that because we didn’t have written proof of the verbal assurances, they would not honour them.
In other words, they expected us to pay tens of thousands for a service that was delayed, unusable, and never once accessed - simply because their own promises were made verbally rather than by email. It’s an astonishing display of poor ethics for a company of their size.
We tried to resolve this fairly and gave them every opportunity to do the right thing. Instead, the matter was dismissed without accountability or care. We’ve since terminated all contracts with Salesforce and moved on to better alternatives that treat clients with professionalism and integrity.
Our experience has left a lasting impression: big names don’t always mean better service. Salesforce’s handling of this situation has been unprofessional from start to finish, and I would strongly caution other businesses from making the same mistake.
Review of Salesforce After 10 Years of…
Review of Salesforce After 10 Years of Use
We’ve been using Salesforce for over a decade, spending around £60,000 per year on the platform. As the CEO of a company that relies heavily on CRM systems, I can say with confidence that I would not recommend Salesforce to most end users.
The platform is extremely expensive and offers very poor customer support. Any attempt to get help usually results in being passed to a sales representative whose main goal is to sell additional products rather than resolve issues.
While Salesforce is marketed as a comprehensive solution, most businesses end up using only a fraction of its capabilities. Many features that should be standard at this price point require expensive add-ons or third-party integrations. The user interface is clunky and unintuitive, making adoption across teams more difficult than it should be.
After 10 years, my impression is that Salesforce is primarily focused on driving its own revenue growth, not improving customer experience. Their account management style is aggressive and transactional, and in my experience, they only reach out when there’s an opportunity to upsell.
With the rapid rise of AI and the decreasing cost of software development, a custom-built CRM is now a far better investment. For what Salesforce costs annually, you could hire a developer to create a tailored system that fits your business — rather than forcing your company to adapt to Salesforce’s rigid and overpriced infrastructure.
In short: Salesforce once led the way, but today it feels bloated, sales-driven, and disconnected from customer needs.
Salesforce and SPAM
Salesforce allows their clients to send SPAM emails. They will not stop this abuse. They do not respond to notifications of this. They do not respond to BBB complaints about it.
Unnecessarily complicated.

Truly this CRM is the worst I have tried, its initial setup is nightmarish for what you can do, after trying this CRM programs like Go High Level feel like heaven.

Salesforce for a small builder
Salesforce has a product for small business. We have three seats and its much cheaper than when I used it five years ago for a larger business. Works well and relatively inexpensive, functional and easy to use.
Mr. Berkay Surmeli
This company is highly unprofessional, with extremely poor customer service. Mr. Berkay Surmeli stands out in the worst way possible: his communication style is offensive, and he seems unable to properly understand even basic contractual terms.
Salesforce is vague and unclear
I was trying to complete the Salesforce certificate, and a lot of the times I struggled when it came to following the steps on the challenges. A lot of the instructions did not make complete sense which meant a 15 minute challenge took me nearly an hour trying to figure out what I was missing or how to do something correctly. I would often google the challenges and would find many others who were having the same issues and confusion. Upon seeing the responses to those peoples' posts, the challenges were deemed unclear as I would have never figured out how to get form point A to point B with the vague instructions given by Salesforce. As this is related to UX design, it is not very user friendly.
Another issue is when it's time for you to cancel your subscription, you cannot cancel it right away. You have to go through the billing department and wait until they get back to you. At least that's the only solution I've been able to find. If they do have an option for you to opt out of your subscription, they make that very hard to find as well.
This company is garbage
This company is garbage. Spent a decade creating the worst possible solution for database management for DCF. It’s complete crap and is incredibly basic. Also absolutely nothing works properly. I can’t believe anyone would ever pay this company money.
I have had an extremely negative…
I have had an extremely negative experience with Salesforce. My account was closed against my will last year, and since then I have been locked out of the platform for months. Despite having no access to services and not being billed during this time, Salesforce later claimed I had “pending invoices.” They froze my account and reported my company to collections.
This has directly harmed my business credit and reputation. What makes this worse is the complete lack of support or accountability:
• I have contacted Salesforce billing, my account executive, supervisors, and the general support team repeatedly over several months.
• Tickets are opened and then closed within 24–72 hours with no explanation or resolution.
• I even provided proof that my email address was updated in their system, but Salesforce support continues to claim it is “old.”
• To this day, I have not received any itemized invoice or evidence of services rendered during the locked-out period.
Salesforce has failed to communicate, failed to validate its charges, and wrongfully escalated this matter to collections. This is unacceptable for any company, especially one of this size. I am formally disputing these charges and requesting:
1. Immediate correction of any false collections or credit bureau reporting.
2. Written documentation of any legitimate invoices.
3. An accountable point of contact who will resolve this matter.
Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend Salesforce to any business. Their billing and support processes have caused severe harm and stress.
