A pleasantly spent weekend and a very well-run skipper exam prep course. The instructor shared plenty of funny real-life stories, so even though he warned us in advance that it might be “boring,” it definitely wasn’t. He explained a lot of things clearly and in context. Highly recommended.

I recently completed a sailing course designed for aspiring captains, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. Here’s what stood out:

Highly professional skipper – Our instructor was not only experienced and knowledgeable, but also calm, patient, and supportive throughout the entire course.

Unique and effective teaching methodology – The training approach was clearly developed with future captains in mind. It was structured, practical, and easy to follow.

Plenty of time for hands-on practice – We had ample opportunities to take the helm, perform maneuvers, and gain real confidence at sea.

Personalized instruction – Each participant received individual attention, especially when it came to mastering essential maneuvers like docking, anchoring, and man-overboard recovery.

Well-equipped boat – The training yacht was in excellent condition and had everything needed for both comfort and real-world training scenarios.

Highly recommended for anyone serious about becoming a capable and confident skipper.

The best skipper i ever met. Lot of practical knowledge

Radek is the best instructor. He can manage group of party boys and girls as well as family with small children or ladies who wants to get licence but did not realize what is sailling about.
His experience and organization skill are anazing!

My wife and I decided to get a category C skipper's license and we used the services of Sailing Instructors, specifically Radek Sloup.

We went through the theoretical preparation with Radek, which lasted the whole weekend but it wasn't as boring as I expected! ;-) Radek gave us practical examples how to use the theory and also thanks to him we successfully passed the theoretical exam.

The following week we did the practical part at sea in Croatia. I had already completed a skipper's course in the past (to obtain a Croatian license), so it was immediately clear to me that Radek had more experience than the other instructors I had the opportunity to sail with. The whole week was a positive experience, Radek patiently explains all the aspect of sailing and we learned a lot.

In the future we definitely plan to attend some of the advanced courses!

Reliable and fast delivery of orders

I have no experiences with any others sailing instructors or skippers, but Radek was perfect! Very professional, easygoing, so much fun and jokes. My 100% recommendation!

It was great sailing experience. To be honest there has been absolutely nothing to complain about. Yacht- great, spacy and comfortable, but also fast; food - excellent; sailing and yacht controlling lessons - fun, fun,fun :-) Recommend to anyone.
