Odered in Nov for Xmas delivery, received no communication, had to ring them, stating they would deliver before Xmas, but didn’t, rang again, January, they then stated being dispatched , otherwise products good

Ordering very easy. Delivered a day earlier than quoted.

Ordered an Auraglow sensor outdoor light which was delivered promptly and seemed very good quality. However, after installation, I found the sensor did not work. I contacted the company who quickly gave me a crib sheet for checking the PIR connections. Did this but still didn’t function on PIR. It was either on or off. I was provided with a prepaid return label but, for speed of replacement was told to reorder which I did. I paid 99p for po24 and it was with me the next day. I fitted the new one and, guess what, the PIR did not react again. This time I removed the light and found the little PIR plug was loose in its socket. I needed to use a small screw driver to push it in. This time, after remounting, the PIR did work. HOWEVER(!) not as it says in the instructions. At dusk with movement in the four meter range it comes on for about 5secs Max, NOT the thirty seconds statedon the packet. This is unfortunate because it tends to keep flashing. I’ve reported this back and been provided with another return label. My original double spot, which was still working but ugly, was damaged on removal. I am now in a quandary as I don’t want to be lightless. I either suffer the flashing or buy elsewhere and then return no2. It’s a very nice light indeed so it’s a great shame. Seems the QAR is not being carried out properly.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company, excellent service

I've placed three separate orders with Safield Distributors over the past few weeks and I have been extremely impressed with the efficiency, accuracy, promptness, communication and value.

Very disappointed with this light and Safield Dist. Ltd aka Auraglow who both sell and manufacture it. Not only is the light faulty, as confirmed by Auraglow (it comes on constantly day and night wasting electricity and annoying our neighbours), they expect us to pay for an electrician to remove the light and pay to return it, before they would offer a replacement or refund (which would cost more than the light is worth!).

The manufacturer has acknowledged that the light is faulty, as it shouldn't even come on during daylight. Not only that but there is no way to manually turn it off so until we pay for an electrician to come back out it continues to be on constantly.

The consumer rights act is fairly clear that with a repair or replacement when there is a faulty product the seller must "bear any necessary costs incurred in doing so (including in particular the cost of any labour, materials or postage)", but trying to explain this to Auraglow is like banging your head against a wall.

Thankfully Amazon has refunded me, and I will never buy an Auraglow light again after the poor experience not only with the product but also the (lack of) customer service, and failure to comply with the consumer rights act. Will report to trading standards.

Don't waste your money.

First time I've used safield and would definitely do so again. First rate seller.

Superb lights, well made, well designed and an excellent price. Just fitted the twin and single fittings to the parking area in front of our house and they light up the area perfectly with a nice warm and bright light. The ability to rotate the lights is a real bonus as you can spread the light with the twin fitting. Fixed to a black fascia board they are invisible during the day, not that we want to hide them as they look great! The best outside led fittings I have come across.
