Well this is a bit of a rant
Well this is a bit of a rant. Decided to buy a clock from Safield-online through Ebay.
Initially when I took the clock out of the packaging I was pleased with the item, it
looked good and when switched on yeah I was happy with my purchase. But as the
clock time moved on, the time was missing. This happened at various times through
the day, I did not know anything about L E D Lighting so ended up getting a stick
from the garden and used the sun to cast a shadow, it worked ok but still could not
tell the time.
I have tried several times to get this resolved but have had no replies to any emails
I have sent, so looks like I am £18 + out of pocket, I know it`s not a fortune but hey.
Excellent Service
Very pleased with the Auraglow Avebury lights, easy to order, quick delivery.
I called Safield because I had a missing cap which screws on to the front plate to hold it in place, within 18 hours Safield had posted & delivered the item.
That is exceptional service, thank you to Safield Distribution Ltd.

I bought a great LED outdoor light which worked well until the temperatures went below 5 degrees and it started not to work. After reporting, they said if I returned they would issue a new one. The new one arrived and at the exact same time the following year as temperatures dipped it malfunctioned in the same way. This is a defective product that has failed twice with the same issue - either a design or manufacturing issue. It was days after the warranty finished and they have now stopped answering any emails. They fail to realise that this is not a warranty issue as the product was supplied with an inherent design / manufactured fault and hence is covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for up to 6 years.
This company refuses to engage and will not discuss the issue although I have rejected the item. They do not comply with their legal obligations and hence beware if you want to buy a product from them. they are not a reputable company!
Poor quality lights and after sales service
Lights supplied were of poor quality and after a short time stopped working and, due to poor quality, they corroded. Poor after sales service, including insisting on me paying for returns of agreed faulty product.
Beware - they will charge you for sending back faulty goods!
We have 2 faulty lights to return and they are trying to charge us for sending them back. They started off ok but they are now ignoring our emails. After sales is poor.
Selling cheap plastic Chinese lights
Selling cheap plastic Chinese lights, very misleading photos on the website. Photo show Anthracite, the lights were a cheap plastic silver, cost me £10 to return the parcel.

What an excellent example to larger businesses
Ordered an Auraglow Wireless Dimmable Desk Lamp USB Rechargeable Folding LED Reading Light (Blush) via Amazon Marketplace on Sunday 23 Oct 2022. The product arrived on Weds 26 Oct by Royal Mail. It was well packaged. However, when set up, it was clear that the battery was not holding its charge so it could not be used stand-alone (the main reason for the purchase). Got in touch via Amazon feedback and received an apology the following morning from Emily, with a promise to send out another. The replacement was received today by Royal Mail and again was well packaged. This one works fine and Emily said they did not want me to return the defective one, which works fine as long as its plugged into a USB slot. Superb service

I have been reading all the good reviews about this company and wish I could do the same. Just before Christmas I phoned and asked if I could buy 2 Super Bright plug in motion sensor light at 12.99 each. At the time the lady at Safield said that all the card detail machines weren’t working and could I call back after Christmas which I did today. Now they say they can’t take an order over the phone and they are out of stock, but they could if I was a large company wanting a big order. As a large company with it seems like good reputation, I wonder why this is. Surely they could have taken my details and said they would post when the stock comes in. That is twice I have tried to get these lights and twice have been unable to. As I am 72 and need these Super Bright lights to light up my staircase and do not want my card details to go online, I think these companies like Safield that are providing a service to huge companies that give them large orders over the phone and not to everybody, should be named and shamed.

I’m very pleased with the service I received. Quick delivery and good customer service. I had my second other broken when I opened the box and the customer service replaced it, within two days I received the replacement. Now the lights. The lights are gorgeous and they look awesome in my front garden everybody loves it. I like the squareness of it and they look like proper ice cubes. It looks pretty at night time. Overall I am amazed with my purchase. Highly recommended

I had a faulty outside light water was entering the light causing the bulbs to blow. Safield charged me for another . I returned the faulty light at my own expense on the understanding that they would credit my account the full amount however they deducted the cost of the bulbs of the returned light even although I told them the fault caused the bulbs to blow. Not a good company.
