Don’t bother wasting your hard earned money on this company !!!!!!

We bought replacement glass for our lounge windows back in March 2020 and contacted the company by email to express our complaint that there was a smudged line down the middle of the glass which looks even worse when the sun shines on them they came and replaced the glass unit but we still had the same issue. We decided to visit the factory in Gunthorpe and was told by the production manager that it would be from a dirty roller and to go the showroom which we did however this was in 2021 as it was lockdown we understood that we would have to wait for them to come out. They came out eventually in 2022, we showed him (an employee by the name of Shaun) who denied being able to see any defects but I suggest he go to Specsavers as he is the only person that couldn’t see the smudge. I have now emailed again and also called the number on the paperwork and they are not returning my emails. I am very disappointed and would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They’ve had our money and couldn’t care less. Their customer service is diabolical and we are totally hacked off with trying to get a response from them.

So disappointed

This is a review for Safeguard garage, windows and doors based in Pyle. I ordered a composite door, two side window panels and replacement for four failed (misted up) double glazing windows.
I waited longer than forecast for installation but having waited, with pressures in work I wanted the door and windows installed at same time. I was given several dates but when checking, my windows weren't ready so I opted to wait further. On the third date I was then told the windows were available so took a day off work for the work to be carried out. The door and side window panels were fitted but I was advised that the windows weren't available despite all the promises. I've since tried on three separate occasions to get the windows done to no avail. Unfortunately the door wasn't installed properly. It was adjusted once but although having used it for a couple of months now, I'm still not satisfied that it was installed correctly. The top doesn't close tight like the bottom and was overly tightened on the locking bolts to compensate but thus makes the door rattle and means the lock has to be closed under some resistance. I have rung and advised but no one is seemly interested. I was also promised when ordering that the guarantee was insurance backed for protection against the firm ceasing trading but I still have not received anything to do with this. My advise if you use this company us to withhold some money until you have everything promised and you are completely satisfied with the workmanship. Overall a very disappointing experience.
