Recently purchased a new rug for my horse. The team dealt with my order efficiently and it arrived much sooner than expected which was a lovely surprise!

Do not bother

Update after comment: the mentioned email is one of three which was sent regarding the refund alone after finally being informed of the issue. This, in total, was 6 weeks. Blaming isolated technical problems is poor, as this was ongoing for multiple weeks - these emails are alongside phonecalls and other emails for the same request. Making out that I did not give them enough time to remedy this is 100% wrong and misleading.

Do not bother. I will definitely never be using this company again. Money taken, no product, no refund and terrible customer service.
Six weeks after placing my order I had received neither my product nor any communication beyond the original confirmation. After chasing by email (ignored) and two phone calls, I was finally told the item was discontinued and my payment had been taken regardless. I requested a refund — that was nearly three weeks ago. Despite two further follow-ups on my part I am still waiting, with nothing but empty promises. Awful communication and unacceptable handling of what should have been a straightforward situation. As of yet I have still not received a refund.

Our sincere apologies for your recent experience. Your refund has been issued, but sending an email at 7.00pm on Friday night after business hours have finished, and then posting a bad review at 1.00am in the morning does not allow the opportunity to remedy your complaint in a timely manner. We have had a few isolated intermittent issues of a technical nature with some emails recently that we believe are now fixed.

Refund, not received

Item returned for refund, confirmed arrival of item, refund policy stated 14 days yet refund not received. Poor customer service and poor communication.

We are sorry about the communication issue, which was due to an email technical issue which was quickly resolved, and your refund has been completed. Our website says we will refund within 14 days after receipt of your returned item to cater for processing your return, and busy periods at certain times of the year, but refunds are usually actioned within a few days.

Ordered and paid for a pair of boots…

Ordered and paid for a pair of boots online yesterday. This afternoon I was sent an email informing me that the product ordered was mistakenly listed at an incorrect price due to an upload error and regrettably this meant that they could not fulfil my order at the listed price and I would be issued a full refund. I was sent a 10% voucher as a gesture of goodwill that I could use towards the boots at their amended price, which I will not be using. Even if I did use the voucher, these boots are available elsewhere at a much better price now. Very disappointed

Brilliant company and excellent service

Brilliant service. Ian is a true horseman, taking time to introduce himself to our horse. From the outset it was clear he was only interested in ensuring the saddle was a perfect fit to provide comfort and freedom of movement. The difference in how our horse moved and how secure we felt in the saddle was an eye-opener. Thank you Ian.

Rug order

Placed an order for a rug, which was very competitively priced compared to other retailers. Expected to receive it in 2-5 working days.However there was a delay and tracking didn’t show as being despatched after five days. A phone call to Saddlemasters, enquiring about the delay was made, I spoke to a very helpful gentleman, who checked the warehouse and said there had been a supplier delay. It would be posted out the following day by expedited delivery to be received on the Saturday, at no extra cost, as it was now going into the weekend. I was kept informed, and the parcel arrived as promised. I would not hesitate to re order from this Company again, as I think the service is above and beyond what one would expect and also their prices are very competitive. Thank you Saddlemasters. Rehomed rescue pony will now be snug and dry in the rain. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic

Fantastic, thorough fitting service from this very professional, helpful and knowledgeable Company. Ian has been such a tremendous help with ensuring the saddle and bit are just right for my horse and I feel such piece of mind now that his tack all fits correctly. Thank you Ian!

I would highly recommend Ian

I would highly recommend Ian, he is patient, knowledgable and made sure everything was perfect for both me and my pony. I appreciated advice given for bringing on my youngster and I have purchased a new saddle and will definitely be going back to him for checks.

The best saddle fitter

I tried so many local saddle fitters (Wiltshire) to come and fit a new saddle to my TB mare who had very painful saddle soreness (from a previous bad saddle fitting) resulting in her bucking and rearing. However very few came back to me or when they did were unreliable and would cancel or shift appointments.
I bought a Premier Equine XC saddle from Saddlemasters, however didn’t think they would travel from Shropshire to us to fit it…so I asked the question. Without hesitation, Ian Taft was more than happy to, and at a very reasonable cost. His care, empathy and attention to my mare was amazing. As a result, 2 months later, I have a very happy horse who is back to her lovely docile self.
I cannot recommend Ian and Saddlemasters enough, they were there despite not being local and nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you Ian for your expertise, look forward to seeing you again for Heidi’s 6 month check up!
