Hassle free booking and very responsive

Easy to use and navigate

⁸Cecillia and her team made our week very comfortable. We asked for a new coffee machine and it was delivered within the hour. They checked in with Us everyday to see if we needed anything to make the stay better. The most peaceful villa. We brought all our gadgets to make the holiday exciting , but after 2 days we just enjoyed the peace. The drive up was equally exciting, just 25 minutes from Torrox centre. The villa was well looked after and had all the wishes we wanted. Would recommend if you want a bit of quiet. Yet the beach and towns are not far away. Torrox beaches are a marvel and the towns of Nerja and Fragiliana are speacial

It was easy to navigate the listing's and find the perfect property. And very easy to book ,pay deposit . And it all to be confirmed quickly. I would recommend . Very good site with quality accommodation. Keep up the good work guys

We stayed at this holiday home in Nerja, Málaga (Reference: MAL598) for 2 weeks in June 2026. The property is in a fabulous location, about 15 walk to the main town. It is situated in a quiet location with fabulous privacy. The house was very comfortable and the hosts were excellent to deal with. The booking went smoothly from start to finish, a most enjoyable holiday!! We would strongly recommend.

I have just returned from the most amazing week at Finca Los Remedios! This holiday let is exceptional, it has everything you need to sit back and relax. The swimming pool is beautifully designed and perfect for morning swims and lazy plunges in the heat of the afternoon. The house is set in the beautiful hills of Andalucía, just a short car journey to the beaches of Nerja and surrounding area. It is beautifully clean through out and the bathrooms are all exceptional with amazing power showers in each. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The outside kitchen is set under a covered terrace and has a great BBQ for outside dining and watching the sun go down. We would recommend this holiday let to anybody. We loved it!

Poor resolution of a genuinely difficult family situation – no goodwill offered

I have never left a negative review, and I have never previously left a holiday early, but I feel it is important to share our experience with Ruralidays.

We booked a rural villa in Spain for a 7-night family holiday with two young children. Shortly after arrival, we encountered a combination of practical issues that made it very difficult for us to remain at the property.

The most significant issue was being informed, with less than 24 hours’ notice, that there would be a complete loss of both electricity and running water for several hours the following morning. In a remote rural location, with temperatures approaching 30°C and two young children, this created a situation where we did not feel able to reasonably remain at the property.

This was compounded by the practical realities of the location, including a very remote setting and difficult access, which required a level of driving confidence and constant use of a vehicle that we had not fully appreciated from the listing.

As a result, we made the difficult decision to leave after less than 24 hours and book alternative accommodation for the remainder of our holiday.

The property itself was well presented and the local property manager was helpful and responsive. Our issue is not with the owner or the condition of the accommodation.

Our dissatisfaction lies with Ruralidays’ handling of the situation afterwards. We raised the matter promptly and explained the circumstances in detail, not seeking to assign blame but to request consideration of a partial refund or goodwill adjustment given the extremely limited use of the booking.

Despite acknowledging the circumstances, Ruralidays ultimately declined any refund, credit, or goodwill gesture, stating this was in line with their terms.

While I understand policies exist, I was disappointed that no discretion was applied given the unusual nature of the situation and the fact that the property was used for less than a day of a week-long stay.

Overall, I would advise caution when booking if you are expecting flexibility or goodwill support in unforeseen circumstances. The booking process is straightforward, but in our experience the post-booking support did not reflect the level of customer care we would have hoped for.

This was such an interesting experience, as I'd never used this company before! I'll be honest, I was quite apprehensive at first because the second part of the payment had to be made via bank transfer directly to the owner, which felt a little unusual. As a result, I was on tenterhooks in the lead-up to the holiday and even when we first arrived.However, as soon as we met the owner at the BP petrol station, all of those worries disappeared. From that moment on, we could properly relax and enjoy our holiday. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and even escorted us up to the villa as the road was very steep and narrow. Despite the language barrier, she explained everything perfectly using a translation app and even told us about local events taking place during our stay.I honestly can't recommend the owner highly enough – such a lovely woman.As for the villa... wow! It was absolutely stunning. The view, the pool, the outdoor seating area, and the Balinese bed were all perfect. It was exactly what I was looking for in a relaxing holiday. The villa was spotless and ready for us on arrival, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.My only piece of advice? Consider hiring an automatic car if you're not used to steep, narrow roads!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa near Malaga. As a family of five, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. Everything was perfect from start to finish.The villa itself was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean throughout. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family break.The views were simply breathtaking, and the pool was a real highlight, providing hours of enjoyment for both adults and children. The location offered the best of both worlds – peaceful and rural, surrounded by stunning scenery, yet conveniently close to the airport.One of the things we loved most was being within walking distance of several superb restaurants, making evenings effortless and enjoyable. It was the perfect base for exploring the area while still enjoying privacy and tranquillity.A special mention must go to the hosts, who were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their excellent communication and attention to detail helped make the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable stay near Malaga. A truly outstanding property that exceeded all our expectations.

A veary good website .which is both informative and easy to navigate around in which to explore which property suits you .The pictures are bright and clear .And the information is usefull and to the point .payment went through fuss free .so all in all so far so good 👍

I made a mistake in the booking, which I found out a few hours later, upon contacting Ruralidays to set this straight, they told me that can not change the booking, and my price will remain the same. Very unflexible, editing a booking should be possible when making a date mistake.

Great number of filters. Most (all?) villas can be taken for any number of days, not just 7 or 14. Lots of lovely villas to choose from. Have used and been happy 7 or 8 times 😊

A distinct lack of communication. Emails were seemingly ignored.

We've stayed in many luxury properties over the years, and the difference is almost always in the details. This villa got them all right.The location is peaceful and private, despite having neighbours nearby, the isolation is excellent and you genuinely don't hear a thing. The pool area is beautiful, with a lovely jacuzzi section.Inside, the villa is modern, comfortable, and genuinely well-equipped. We're used to high-end properties where the kitchen looks great but lacks the basics when you actually want to cook. Not here, everything you could possibly need was available (they could add some oven gloves and a blender to make it perfect), and that made a real difference to our stay. Great beds, a high-pressure modern shower, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, it's all there. The bedrooms/beds are on the smaller side compared to some luxury stays we've had, but perfectly comfortable and well thought out. Also there they have good compartiments to arrange your clothes.What truly elevated the experience were the hosts, Desirée and Antonio.Warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, they went well beyond the standard host role.Every step of the process, from booking through to arrival instructions and getting there, was seamless and professionally handled. Not a single moment of confusion or friction.We would recommend this villa without hesitation and would absolutely return. If you're looking for a well-equipped, peaceful retreat with hosts who actually care, this is it.

We had a terrible experience with this company. Borderline traumatizing. We rented Villa Robus in Frigiliana. Reference MAL 5359. Don't go there!

On the day of our arrival the electrical panel broke down. It was way beyond just a fuse blowing and it took many hours to repair while we were sitting in the dark and the cold. And when we complained about this taking so long, the owner angrily yelled at us to keep quiet and just wait! And we got blamed for drawing too much electricity using the heaters that were actually there!?! The panel never really got repaired as it tripped regularly and that was stressful. And we had to deal with repair people for hours, not something you want on your holiday.

But this was not all. There is a lot wrong and outdated with this house. The kitchen has no hot water!!!, the dishwasher doesn't clean the dishes, the washing machine is very low quality and barely does the job (and has a temperature failure). On top of this the kitchen is not very well outfitted. Ruralidays' description "The bright and well-furnished kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare from a quick breakfast to a full dinner. Its functional and aesthetic design makes it a pleasant place to cook and socialize." is severely misleading. Even more seriously misleading are the pictures on the website of this rental. The pictures are warm and clean/uncluttered. The reality is that when we came we were shocked to find out that almost all the walls in the house were cluttered with lots of (in our opinion) very poor quality sentimental paintings. And the light wasn't warm and cozy, but cold and harsh, the kind of light you expect to find in hospitals. We would have never booked this house if the website photos gave an honest representation of what it is actually like. This level of being mislead is in our opinion fraudulent.

We asked for the light bulbs to be replaced with warm ones and Ruralidays (through their partner Nerjazul) bluntly refused. Hard to believe, but true.

There is much more wrong with the house, such as all the mattresses and cushions for the loungers being mouldy and the single mattresses inside being way past their life-cycle. It goes on and on, but we're sure you get the picture. To top it all off the owner marched into the house at 10AM sharp yelling OUT OUT OUT. Insane. And it went downhill from there. Aggressive volatile behaviour including us being physically pushed. Never experienced anything even close to this. This person should not be in the hospitality business. And Ruralidays should have made sure that we were protected from such an unsafe owner.
But Ruralidays did absolutely nothing to come our way. terrible experience.
