I was attracted to this company by the excellent reviews it has received, and I am sure they are well deserved. However, my personal experience has been in complete contrast to those.

Will was very attentive throughout the process of repairing the broken screen on my granddaughter's Honor 10. He was informed about the broken screen and the fingerprint sensor not working from the outset. But he accepted the job and I was happy that he did because I much prefer to deal with a local company than send the phone into the void where anything can happen, and often does.

Things started to go wrong from the outset when the phone wouldn't restart after the replacement screen was fitted. For reasons i don't fully understand, this led to the replacement of the battery, which was working perfectly well previously, and for which I was charged. The phone was returned in a poor cosmetic state with adhesive around the display. I was told the fingerprint sensor still wasn't working but otherwise it was fine

It wasn't. In fact, it doesn't work at all. I can't get past the initial screen because it seems the touch-disable feature has been enabled and can't be disabled. I can't switch it off, and am unable to reboot it. So, as it is, it is completely useless.

I have asked Will twice to refund the £103 I paid for the "repair" but all I have had is a single response suggesting some things that I had already tried and do not work. Will has been informed of this, but hasn't responded. I am still waiting for my refund.

You can take from this what you will. I am sure the other reviewers were very happy with the service they got and that's great. I am not at all happy; quite the opposite. If there were so many known issues with the phone, as Will has tried to explain to me, then I don't understand why he undertook the repair in the first place.

You can use him in future if you wish. I certainly won't.

Update: after several days and emails Will has resolved the problem with the touch screen, which apparently was due to the screen and case parting company because of the weak adhesive used to hold them together. The fingerprint sensor is still non-functional.

Updated update: I can't remove the SIM tray. This appears to have glued in place along with the screen and the back. The whole thing is a total mess and the phone is useless. I have advised Will of this, but he denies responsibility. So he leaves me no option but to pursue court action. I have photos of the phone if anyone is interested.
