BEWARE
BEWARE, do not buy! Paid for race photos from bay to breakers, received 10 photos that don’t include me, of the crowded finish line without anyone in the photos bib numbers being discernible. How they could send that out as a paid for product is insane. Emailed their customer service who has so far refused a refund and is no longer responding. Guess I’ll frame a photo of complete strangers and hang them around my house. Do not purchase any photo packages from this company!

Very low resolution
Very low resolution for a high resolution purchase. Won't be making this mistake again. Junk.

since outside is involved this is really just a bad expierience - please ironman - use sportograf all over the world - here it works
Shocking picture download system…
Shocking picture download system currently in place. I pre-ordered my pictures thinking this would make things smoother - couldn’t be further away from the truth. When I went to download them using the automatically shared link only a handful of pictures were available. After wrestling with their selfie tool for 20 mins I managed to find significantly more and added them to my package. Turns out I can’t actually just download these straight-away - I need to submit a request for someone to then send a new download link for the new package. Now playing the waiting game until someone actually bothers to respond for a task which could so easily be automated (take a look at some of your competitors for lessons on that), whilst literally looking at something I’ve paid for in watermarked version.
The site quotes $US, not $CAD, for a Canadian race
The site provides costs in $US, and not $CAD for a race that occurred in Canada. This is not identified anywhere on their site that I can find. This was a significant surprise to me after I completed the order.
Forget this company
Forget this company , no Organasition, giving you 2min. for start instructions over a pdf bible, no friendly people, less communication, no answer back soon if you have question, results dont go as photographer.
Missing pics, they don't care!
Lack of customer service and empathy. Race a European Championship and FP were taking pics, or meant to be.
Email comes through asking me to part with £50, took a look and not one of me on the finishing line (arguably the most important bit).
Searched pics and there is 9 mins of footage missing, various back and forth with FP who take forever to reply. Informing them my partner witnessed the camera people stop taking pics to chat as i finished, this is their response:
2Our production team searched and yes, the auto camera stopped working, there is no reason to lie. We already apologized for the inconvenience and you have stated you are not purchasing photos which is why we no longer continued to communicate. There were a few of you crossing the finish line but the ones you were referring to were from the auto camera and those photos were not taken due to the lapse."
Sums them up, thanks for ruining my day!
Disappointing.
Disappointing.
I participated in the 100K Canyon Endurance Run and had preordered race photos. Unfortunately, it turns out that only one photo was taken. I’m really disappointed — I paid $55 USD and contacted them immediately after the race to request a cancellation, as they clearly didn’t fulfill what was promised, but they refused.
They want to pay photographers slave…
They want to pay photographers slave labor for working events for 8 hours or more. They have taken over other photographer events and now paying a THIRD less than what we were paid before.
Almost one week after my first marathon…
Almost one week after my first marathon and the video is not up yet. "our order contains at least one video. Due to vastly slower transfer and processing speeds, your video is processed separately." I waited 3 days to see the pictures, bought the full pack to get 3 usable pictures, and had to wait an eternity to be able to publish it. They really need a competitor on this field.
Customer service has been quick to…
Customer service has been quick to respond but 12.99 for a download to print myself? Wow, I won't be using them again any time soon...
I've had excellent results for a decade.
I have purchased photo packages from this company many times over the last 8 years. Photo download link arrives immediately and if you don't mind using facial recognition you can dig up a few extras (mind you mostly in the background). Photo's are a large size suitable for large prints, or even cropping for a not so large print. Sometimes they will send me a discount link to photo packages I have not bought 12 months down the track.
My only sad comment is for the few times I have had only a small number of photo's from an event (usually didn't complete or had issues so I didn't cross the finish) but there is one or 2 photo's I'd love to have but it's way too expensive to just buy one or 2. I guess they assume that there will be plenty of photo's and it's a deliberate tactic to try and get people to buy the package. Other than that I'm pretty happy with their work over the last decade. (based in Australia)

40€ for 2 pictures which ended-up being only digital. (No physical copy). This was so expensive that it seemed obvious these where physical copies and not digital ones. Absolute scam ! I've claimed reimbursment and will withdraw this rating if I obtain it.

I paid 60$ and they NEVER sent me the download link. Their customer support is horrendous. Shame on Ironman for using such a horrible company.
This company is trash
This company is trash. I ordered some pictures of the Marine Corps 10K I ran with my wife and daughter on 10/31/2023 and have not received them yet. I have sent at least 20 emails to them only to get the run around. I have finally asked for a full refund. Probably won't see it but at least I tried. The Marine Corps should reconsider doing business with this awful company! Would give zero stars but that's not an option.
low-resolution picture for money
low-resolution picture for money. these people have no shame
Overpriced even if the photos were…
Overpriced even if the photos were good, but in a 5k race they had one photographer at the beginning and two at the finish line, which took poor photos. Do not recommend at all. Especially, buying the package prior to the race. Awful!!!
Extremely poor-quality photos
As an event organizer, I would look elsewhere!
Extremely poor-quality photos add nothing to the race experience for participants, and aren't usable for marketing purposes. They hire literally anyone who can squeeze a button, and the people who make decisions on locations and compositions don't understand the basics of photography OR running. Editing and culling is either non-existent or terrible. In general out of a few dozen photos of a participant, you MIGHT have one usable one if you're lucky. Location choices are really bad - if you have a marathon relay, you will likely only have photos of a single runner from the team, perhaps two.
Race organizers should hire professional photographers, and provide free social-media downloads of images branded with the race logo. Many smaller races, are doing it, and many of the photographers actually know running. Photos are much higher quality - not only do people look better, the photos tell a story, not just a snapshot at a random location. It's good swag for runners and even better marketing for the race. It's a little more logistically challenging for bigger races over a few thousand people, but it's doable!
I would not pre-order race photos
I would not pre-order race photos. They will allegedly email you a link of the photos, but then don't and the customer service is terrible. It feels like AI responses if anything. Despite sending multiple requests they will not ensure that a link of my photos - which I already paid for - will be sent. Maybe if you ordered photos after they are released you would actually get the link sent. Just don't expect much help and there is no phone number to call to ensure you speak to a live person.
The only reason I do not give them 1 star is because their photos appear to be decent. They have a lot of photographers at the event from what I can gather.
No one in the picture!
I paid for my finish line photo. Not only was it really expensive compared to others, but they sent a photo of the finish line with no one in there! I've reached out to customer service and they won't respond. Garbage company. Buyer beware.
