Just arrived at The Cove at Atlantis in the Bahamas, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. I booked my stay for $2,800 and some change, with a confirmed price through Revato Book/Hotel Booking. However, upon arrival, I was blindsided by a charge more than double what I had already agreed to and paid.

This is a clear breach of the confirmation agreement and a textbook example of bait-and-switch pricing. To make matters worse, there is absolutely no support from Revato or the hotel booking platform to help resolve the issue.

Now I’m stuck trying to figure out how my stay has increased by over 100%, with no prior disclosure of these extra charges. I would strongly advise against booking here unless you’re prepared for surprise fees and zero customer support. This experience has been a complete nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We booked our room and once I found out the reservation wasn't actually through the direct hotel website , I called the hotel to confirm if our reservation was showing on their end. The hotel has no record of our upcoming stay. There is no way to contact anyone through Revato. Total scam

This company is A SCAM!
For some tricks, this Revato company manages to appear on hotels on google map as their official sites, which it is totally not. By this false claim, it fraud people into booking through its system and charges higher price than the hotels.

Very low-key and shady practice. Should avoid it altogether!

Recently I booked few rooms through Revato and everything went very well as planned. The hotel confirm they received all my bookings. I am not sure why there are so many people here venting that this website is a scam.

My personal experience of Revato is that it has all the hallmarks of a scam. I booked on a page that said book direct on 'official hotel website". I received a confirmation email from Revato.com (not the hotel) for my booking. When I contacted the hotel they didn't have my booking, and the booking confirmation number Revato sent me was not a hotel booking number. The links in the Revato confirmation email I received for cancelling or changing my booking dont work. So, now I have no booking, no way to cancel, and Revato has my credit card. Worse, they are owned by HotelsCombined, who seem to use Revato as clickbait for customers. Terrible way to do business. If I dont get a resolution from them, I'll be going straight to consumer affairs and the media.

The hotel had no knowledge of any reservation from me and there was no room for me. It's a stupid website that doesn't work

I booked a room for 2 nights at the Armar House Marriott in Cancun for Friday June 30th to Sunday July 2nd. When we arrived, we found that it was a closed resort under construction. I called Marriott customer service, and spoke to Lisa Drake, she opened a case requesting that I get a refund for the reservation, and a refund for the new hotel that I had to book last minute. I’ve been tossed around on the phone with Marriott for the past two weeks, being promised that I’ll hear back from someone to have this issue resolved at the conclusion of each phone conversation. I haven’t received an email or phone call back from anyone, and my patience is starting to wear thin. I want the money back that I was promised.

I sent an email to customerservice at hotelscombined dot com with all documentation. I need this resolved immediately. Please put me in touch with someone who can resolve this.

I am so angry with this company! I need to cancel a reservation and I can't get any help at all. I need someone to respond asap. Don't use this company. It's been hell.

Just made a reservation not realizing third party, but called Orlando Rosen hotel and sure enough the reservation is there and price is legit. Very thankful to save money!

people that are giving them bad reviews arent reading the terms and conditions and simply venting here, I booked a hotel through with them and it went as planned

We booked three nights with plaza hotel and casino in vegas. The link was advertised as being a direct booking, the confirmation spoke as though we had made a direct reservation.
The money appeared back in the account, with a hold on it, the bank said they needed confirmation from hotels combined to release the funds. The hotel had no record of a reservation, and obviously cannot help with the confirmation, and if they had had a record of the confirmation they would have simply told us that we booked through a third party, and it's our problem. This is a scam, and in response to the responses saying the hotel is responsible for issues, the hotels are under the impression that YOU are responsible for issues. You dont provide a phone number or even a direct email. A contact form, where we cannot get any records of attempts to contact you, is provided.

i will be contacting the better business bureau, and i will be filing a support ticket with google requesting that they remove "official site" from all of revato's listings.
I reccommend the rest of you do too - google file a complaint with bbb, first result

I wish I could give a zero star review for this site. Misleading is a grand understatement for what they do - you are NOT booking direct with the hotel, even tho everything from the booking landing page and the email reservation states "Booked Direct with Hotel".
You can't get any customer support from Revato and the hotel (I booked with) just says nothing they can do since booked with third party. I was also charged $400 more for "taxes" even though I was previously told by the hotel it was paid in full. No cancellation and no refund. And no assistance. Should be illegal what they do. Caution to all - check the URL when submitting any payments online and verify source.

The staff were friendly the room wA super clean the food was outta this world and the beer was clean and crisp , great location perfect for any stay highly recommended

Beware!! They show up on the official hotel websites as if your booking through the hotel and you are not! Charge you for one night stay, I will be disputing with my bank! This is ridiculous yall please be very careful, when searching for the official sites. They’ll send you a confirmation as if you booked through the actual hotel when really you booked through them!

Why do you show up on our pricing list as "offical website" when it is not. You have no right to falsely state this to customers. Now that I have seen this we will delist our accommodation with you as i would prefer guests to get our direct rate which does not include commission that you take.

I made a booking through what was advertised as the Cathedral Place’s official website for March 6th, 2021 for $158 with Free cancellation, when the booking confirmation number 208321205 came through it was from Revato.com not the Hotel I thought I was booking through and it was for the wrong date and my credit was charged $160.37 not $158, I cancelled this booking in less than three minutes but no refund has been received. Please credit this booking.

Actually should be no rate for revato platform. On Wednesday i had book dorsett Putrajaya for one night. On this platform they are say we are directly book with the hotel. Also the reply booking confirmation stated booking direct with dorsett Putrajaya hotel. When we check in the staff said we are booking with the revato.com. Then no breakfast included. No other such this on their reply email for so called stay and play package. Stupid platform. Scam people.

I booked accommodation at Soldiers Motel in Mudgee for 16 July. On 14 July we were advised that we could no longer travel on the planned trip because of COVID19 and so we contacted the motel immediately to advise and cancel. We were then charged for accommodation by this company because we cancelled one day and 23 hours before our estimated arrival time. Anger does not describe my feeling about this treatment. I have travelled to many parts of the world and always book accommodation and NEVER have I experienced such treatment.

Booked a 3 x night stay at 5* Ananatara Tozeur Resort in Tunisia for this June. Their nightly rate came up on all price comparison sites as three times cheaper than the next cheapest price (from Agoda / Hotels.com). I thought it was probably too good to be true and it was. I booked a fully refundable rate with full payment on arrival, then immediately called the hotel directly to confirm the final cost of payment on arrival. Turns out it was 390% more expensive than the cost Revato had advertised. Quite simply a scam to ensure that Revato ends up top of price comparison search listings when you Google them. These scammers are run by Hotels Combined Pty Ltd (ABN 61 122 130 554), a company incorporated in New South Wales, Australia. This behaviour is illegal in Australia. Australian Consumer Law prohibits businesses from making false or misleading representations about the price of goods or services. I have registered a complaint with the New South Wales Fair Trading. I suggest you all do the same!

Stay well clear. I booked hotel in Amsterdam to include breakfast for my party and this was confirmed in booking. On arrival at the hotel I was informed breakfast will now be extra. Will not use again.
