After waiting two weeks after ordering and hearing nothing I googled the company and obviously come across the reviews. Wishing I had done this before I ordered.

The money I paid was nearly £200 and was sent on my statement to someone called LOUISE HEENAN. Which I find odd in itself.

My partner said his friend got one it was brilliant.

What I think has happened is they have got inundated with orders and can’t keep up.

But letting more people order obviously is just money grabbing.

Having said that they now have closed the website down (after raising their prices once I ordered) cheeky t**ts.

Lloyds banking gave me my money back as soon as I called them and said they will investigate and I ordered with a normal visa debit.

Do not order!

SCAM, company took my money, never delivered product, kept making up rubbish excuses, wouldn't refund my money, had to do a bank recall after a month of waiting, so the company gets away with keeping my money the banks had to refund me and they get away with it! The guys name is Justin hennan, he's a criminal who should be in jail, he ripped off hundreds if not more!! Hopefully police and trading standards will catch up to him! This is more of a company review as I never actually got the product!!!!

Ordered 3 weeks ago says 5 day delivery keeps sending emails saying it’s in transit never turns up no reply to emails do not buy

Ordered from this company on the website says 5 working days after waiting 3 weeks had to go through my bank for a chargeback I've been told that many lies off this company that it was in transit you get it by The Weeknd still nothing, unanswered emails on answered messages I wish I read this review so before I purchase from this company

Received my box in good time and also an extra pair of controllers. Happy days. Great product and great service.

im not suprised by the reviews a raspberry pi costs as little as £32 you can do it yourself for under 50 quid and its very easy to set up. Dont waste your money they are scammers what they are charging. And illegal what they are doing as well. They should not be including copyrighted roms and charging you for it. Even though they say they dont, they actually are because they are including them in the purchase. Dont waste your money. I built my own and its very easy to do with lots of support from retropie.

I received my item eventually but low and behold you guessed it it's faulty so what did I do I contacted retrogamingbox.com via Facebook messenger surprise surprise no answer from messenger or their page what a joke I gave them a chance to rectify a problem with the box but they choose to ignore me. I am furious as this was a gift for my son yet that does not make a difference with justin hennan . So I will contact trading standards and get my money back as this box does not work and contain what he advertises on his website as many consoles have no games oh and they don't provide the information to add games as the say on the site. Do not buy from this company it's a one-man band who does not reply to customers and is well knows to other sellers as a unreliable company who somehow keep trading after ripping so many customers off embarrassing. And now the box is faulty just after a day but there is no chance me contacting the seller as he has blocked me from his Facebook page so trading standards it is

Ordered a product, never turned up, no response to my emails, I had to contact my bank to issue a chargeback, avoid like the plague.

After waiting 2 weeks for them to dispatch the Retro Gaming Box, I tried to contact them on their website and by email. I waited over a month for them to respond but they didn't and I didn't receive the game console. I had to contact my bank to get a refund which they gave to me on the same day after showing them proof that I tried contacting them.

If I could rate as a zero then I would.

THIS IS A SCAM.
Can't make it any clearer than that.

I ordered nearly a month ago....credit card charged.....no goods received....numerous mails sent....not a single reply.

Currently sat in the hands of my credit card company to sort out this absolute fraudster. And reported to Trading Standards who will hopefully shut this joker down.

Do not even think about using them....move along and find someone reputable

I ordered a £129.99 Rasberry Pi box and despite sending 5 emails over the course of 8 weeks I have still not received the goods nor have I had a single response to my emails.

Generally speaking, I am not a complainer and my emails were polite but having had no response I am now in a position where I will be contacting my Bank to take action to get my money back as I paid via VISA.

DO NOT USE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

UPDATE

After almost 2 months, and completely out of the blue, the goods turned up through the post. I am not sure if they were lost or a replacement was sent, but nonetheless, I have my goods.

It is still very disappointing that their communication is so poor, but I guess they are not scammers as my goods did arrive.....eventually.

I have upgraded my rating from 1 to 2 accordingly.

As the comments suggest this "company" is a Scam!!! DON'T BUY!!!! I was lucky and contacted my Bank in time to Re-Credit me back with £129.99 into my account. I have 60 days until the investigation is closed. So if i recieve the Box before that time I will send back. Sounds like these retro boxes dont work too well either!!! Dissapointed

Dodgy company!! Received broken retro box for Xmas, returned item but no replacement or refund was given. After months of emails to them and them constantly saying they were processing it and even said they had refunded me (they had not - asked for references from them and double checked with the bank), then then just started replying with an automatic email and would not respond personally. Contacted citizens advice who have contacted trading standards and told me to do a charge back via my bank; unfortunately because I have been so patient the time period to get the charge back (120days) has ended (European laws not the banks) so we have lost our money and have no (broken) retro box to show for it. So our advice is if you do end up dealing with this company and you receive a broken retro box, go to your bank first and ask them to do a "charge back" on this person and then return then retro box after.

SCAM. My gaming box broke after a month and after countless emails and messages and many months passing I still have had no reply. AVOID

Utter scam artists that take your money and don't send anything or respond to emails. All the negative comments get deleted on their Facebook page so unsuspecting people keep getting scammed. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Was bought as a gift but it didn't show up I read the comments on the page and seen this was A scam nobody seems to get their console, communication is shocking. I went to pi retro in the end and they are great. These scammers need removing

I purchased a retro gaming box in December 2017. Was the best gift I could’ve bought for myself. I have had hours and hours of fun playing all the old school games. Really good value for money. 👍
