Supposedly based in Montreal but everything has been shipped from the US and I had to pay importations fees on top of shipping to get my order delivered to Quebec.

Basically they’re dropshippers, buy elsewhere.

Retro Modding Inc / Incube8 Games / Olivier Lemire is known for poor business practices, including not paying their vendors, defrauding game developers, very long delays on presale fulfillment, and very poor customer service.

Bought a gameboy advance ips screen from them installed it all correctly. then when I turned it on the new screen had tons and tons of horizontal grey lines through out it making it look terrible. I asked support if they have some kind of return or refund policy or if they could just send me a working one because it was clear that it was broken from the start. I’ve been ghosted by them for 2 months now and I’ve sent 3 emails asking… DONOT trust them because if they did something wrong they will not be fixing it.

sent me a broken package that was two weeks late and refused to help besides a “good luck” message; poor customer service. after spending hundreds with them and not being respected as a customer, i would never shop there again. DKOldies level of bs.

Great servise, I forgot to place an item I wanted In the bag (my fault interely), and they helpt me get the item whit my order whit no extra cost:) also fast shipment considering that I live in denmark:) only 7 days

The newest products on the market combined with FANTASTIC customer service. They are available to help with questions before purchase as well as issues encountered during installations and otherwise. I've always had great experiences with RM.

Ordered Game Boy Backlight and Bivert Board. Received items 10 days later with no instructions on how to mount. A request from their website for installation instructions has fallen to deaf ears. No response back. Videos are easy to find online on installation of these items from different suppliers. Go to those folks instead of this Mickey Mouse outfit.

2 months ago item ordered not received, customer service takes ages to reply and when they do they are blaming it on brexit that it's just delayed had plenty of items from the states and not one has taken more than 3 weeks to arrive not impressed at all

3 months and still no sign of the products I ordered, I've received emails from them asking to review the product I had ordered.

Unfortunately I can't review something that never showed up, ebay is far reliable at this point.

Been using these guys for 2 years now on numerous Gameboy projects for various clients and have to say they have great pricing, great variety, great support staff, and great shipping times/reward schemes.

TBH I used to use sites like HandHeld Legend, GodOfGaming & DeadpanRobot but none have the selection, quality support staff, and quick shipping times (Deadpan is in the UK but still manages to be slower than RetroModding coming from the US)

I wouldn't even bother going anywhere else this place is literally a one-stop-shop for all modding needs. Even stocks some NES, SNES, GameGear, etc... And their new UV line of DMG Gameboy shells are killer

The only other place I go now is BoxyPixel for their aluminum shells.

My only critique is that they don't stock some mods such as the USB-C mod for GBA-SP, the noise filter mod for GBA SP (They do stock this for regular GBA) which is a shame because you've to go elsewhere which isn't something I like doing because you know the shipping time and support won't be half as good as what RetroModding offer

I would like te congrats this site cause A LOT OF CHOICE ! They are Responsive, well packaged and It took reasonably time to get my order Home ...

As there are about thounsands kilometers from this shop, shipping cost is friendly correct ... As many vendors, you can choose to follow your parcel or not.
