Sooooo bad

Sooooo bad, I love SoundCloud but this feature... Even indie distributors are doing better, I'm in a split and it's a total mess to have any access to my royalties. Get out, and don't take any risk with this horrible system. AND LOL A THRESHOLD TO BE PAID OUT FOR MUSIC ON SOUNDCLOUD BUT W.T.F ARE U EXPECTING GUYS? My track made 75000 plays and my earning are still under this threshold. I hate u damn

Room for improvement

I do like using their service but there are quite a few downsides.

Removing a release from stores requires you to contact support.

Logging in is sometimes an issue, requiring a verification every. single. time. Even if the computer hasn't moved an inch. They still need to verify it's actually me.

For positives.

They pay you your monthly reports directly to your PayPal, no manual input needed which is most definitely a bonus, usually shows up in the account same day. Much better than previous distributors.

The layout is clunky but works out when everything has it's own page for information.

An album not distributed for weeks, near-zero customer service.

We decided to try the Repost by SoundCloud distribution as the offering and GUI seemed rather appealing. The album release was planned more than a month ahead, so we have enough space for promotion and playlist pitching.
There were few GUI problems during upload, some confusion during the approval process (getting a machine-like explanations: this is not ok, that is not ok...but not really what needs to be done), false automatic notification emails, but ok.

The main issue was that the album was not distributed for weeks after it was reported as approved. We didn't get any status information, any explanation.
We wrote emails to the support, kindly asking for information and instructions. Just a SINGLE email was answered weeks later - carrying an irrelevant answer. That was the last straw.
We did expect some bugs for a new service but believed a company that wants to compete on the existing market, a company acquired by SoundCloud would try hard to deliver what is promised and COMMUNICATE with the customers. They did not.

We went back to the other cheap distributor we've already used, and... the album got public in the first stores within 40hours after upload.

Repostnetwork does not value clients privacy

I have used multiple distributors for my music such as AWAL and distrokid, never really had an issue, until I used repostnetwork by soundcloud omg!!!

To start off, I work in the corporate world and my music has always been anonymous under an unrelated name, privacy is a huge thing to me, I posted a few tracks with repostnetwork by soundcloud, no issue at first, then randomly 3 months after posting, I start getting all these random people trying to add my private Facebook, telling me they love my music etc... I freak out and ask where they got my details and it turns out, repostnetwork has posted my actual name On all my YouTube videos, 3 months after they were initially posted!!!
Why? They Couldn’t tell me, I’ve been in negotiations with them for 3 months and they can not remove it still!!

To top this off, they don’t even have a copyright tool on YouTube, a reasonable amount of my income comes from other people posting my music and the copyright bot monetising it, repostnetwork by soundcloud network claim they have this function but it’s not available meaning I lose a significant amount of revenue...

All in all, this has been a terrible experience, if you read this repostnetwork, please tell me how to get this fixed immediately!
