Remento was a gift to me from my daughter, and it has been a wonderful way for me to share my lifetime memories and our family history with her. It has prompted a deep dive into my boxes of photos and the photos on my phone, and has allowed great flexibility in the length of my stories and the specific stories that I feel are most important to me to share. I have spent more time writing, recording and editing some of our family history stories, less time on some prompts, and have had great fun finding photos I hadn’t seen in years!
Remento is user friendly, and allows one to either use the weekly story prompts, skip prompts or create one’s own. There are three options for editing the video recordings, and attaching photos is easy to do. The videos are easy to record, pause, and re-record, and in my experience more enjoyable than sitting and writing answers to questions. The flexibility to create a memory book that reflects one’s own unique experiences and life makes it special.
Charlie and the Remento staff have been responsive to my questions about editing, and have created an excellent product. I highly recommend!

We gifted Remento to my parents, and it's the best gift we could have ever given. They would never have taken the time to type or write out these memories, but to be able to talk about them and have their words transcribed has been great. It's easy for them and me to use, which is a huge bonus because none of us do well with tech. It will be a treasure for years to come.

I have assisted my 90 year old mother with Remento and am grateful for the stories that have been brought up that none of her kids knew about. This is very user friendly and we have laughed and cried as she tells her stories.

Remento is helping my mom and my daughter in laws grandmother capture our family histories. As we work on our genealogical journey, the stories bring it all to life. I wish this had been around for my grandmother to record her life experiences.

Bringing stories to life for the next generation
After purchasing from a competitor, we were told about Remento and decided to gift this to both grandparents for Christmas. Other brands only allow the storyteller to type their responses, something my father in law found tedious so therefore, as time went on his stories got shorter and shorter, often missing out on all the fun details that made them so special. My favorite thing about Remento is that it not only captures loved ones stories in a book, but also captures their voice and face - something irreplaceable. There is something very special about hearing your loved ones voice as they share a favorite memory. Its even more special to see the smile on their face. My dad is not very technology savvy and even he has admitted that the platform is so easy to use. There is no greater gift then knowing that our son will be able to carry these stories with him even after his grandparents are gone - thank you, Remento.

We love our Remento Book and experience. It was easy to record stores, the edits were wonderful, the book was absolutely beautiful with great photos. Everyone who sees the book loves it.
