Very Bad! What's happening to Regus?

After having withdrawn the direct debiting of Regus invoices due to imputed and undue costs, years later, after never having delayed any payments, we were asked to pay an additional monthly deposit on top of the two already paid.

Since we have never delayed our payments in many years (we signed the contrdact 9 years ago), and since by the 15th of each month we always pay the full cost of the following month's service, we have refused to pay an additional month's deposit, and for this reason we have going on receiving continuous reminders from Regus. as well as the threat of legal action if we continue to refuse to pay an additional month's deposit.

But not finished. Today the legal department wrote to us to say that we have breached the contract because we owed you an amount equal to the sum of the additional deposit and the monthly fee for November, which is due for payment on 15 October (today is 13 October) and that you would have initiate legal proceedings against us! If we add to this the fact that in the last month you have been bragging about adding an additional charge for the telephone service, which is already included in our Virtual Office, and that you then sent us a credit note of 24.40 euro for no reason (it does not correspond to the requested charge), we cannot but think that your administration and legal department are behaving incomprehensibly. The only positive note is the willingness of the staff of our Business Centre Milano Brera to try to find a solution, but neverthless we have been wasting our time for more than 3 months with meaningless invoices and credit notes, and today even the threat of legal proceedings before the invoice is due...! This is madness!

Hi Paolo,
I’m sorry if you felt the need to escalate this.
We ask all our customers to add an automated payment method to their account. I apologise if this wasn’t clearly communicated to you but it’s in the terms of your agreement. We understand that this is not always possible, so we agreed as an exception for you to pay via an alternative method. That exception is made on the understanding that an additional service retainer is payable. If you decide to add an automated payment method to your account (which you can easily do through your online portal, under the Account / Billing and payments section), we’ll immediately credit and refund this additional retainer.
The telephone service is not included in your Virtual Office, therefore the calls you make are chargeable.
Your account is currently restricted due to the outstanding balance in your account and the signs in reception advertising your company have been removed because of this. We have therefore credited the monthly charge for these signs.
Kind regards,
Michelle Spire
