Please don’t pay this company any money….. this company was paid £700 to fit a garage door with a laser with the promise of warranty. I eventually got a garage door but after I paid said we have no laser to fit today we will come back. They never came back and now I cannot get hold of any one. I have no warranty either so if the door breaks. I have four kids so with out the laser it is bound to break.

They need prosecuting!

Utter con. I'm a bit confused as looking at my invoice, they provided for RDC Products which is a company owned by a Matthew Bevan? All a bit fishy to me. Best advice, speak to citizens advice and trading standards. May need to go through a small claims court just to get money back. Website gone, all numbers disconnected and people disappeared off the face of the earth. The lowest of low

Antony Pybus is a conman

Sadly, like many others it seems I have been scammed by this crook. Took my money gave me a load of c**p about his fitter being off on paternity leave. Never delivered or installed the door so I am having to go through my credit card company to get a refund. This man is a crook and should be dealt with by the police. Please check that Antony Pybus has nothing to do with any company you buy a door from.

slow customer service

At this point of frustration in my experience with this company I have to give a 2 star review. The 2 stars are because the door looks nice and mostly functions well, albeit slowly. The missing 3 stars are for customer service and fitters being the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life...mostly the one who gets called up from London when they are short staffed. He is a nightmare. Doesn't listen and the storms off when he can't fix it. Getting a job done is the biggest time wasting exercise I've experienced. I just want to be able to have my remotes synched up so that we have a spare that works after the first one stopped working after 6 months. I'm still waiting...and waiting after 3 months. Half the time they don't get back to you. I did have one nice lady email me to explain about the rude fitter and to say they only use him when they're desperate, and she said to get back to her if I still couldn't tune the key fob in. When I did get back to her after 3 wasted hours the email just bounced back. Here's the email, so Sarah, if you can read this, please get in touch.
Hi Sarah,
I can confirm that the same thing is happening...only one key at a time will work. It shouldn't take 3 intelligent people 3 hours to fiddle about with it. Also the video has information missing and we had to work out how to programme it by trial and error. It doesn't tell you to wait until it stops flashing before you move to the second bit and also the man's finger and thumb look like they're pressing the middle button ...very confusing indeed..and we definitely can't get more than one key working at a time which is quite a stress in case it went missing. We'd be stuck. And we use the garage every day. So please book an engineer to come and see if he can do it...I mean it must be possible since we originally had 2 working keys. I do hope it won't be weeks before this can be sorted but definitely don't send Anthony after he's been exceptionally rude and unprofessional.
Regards

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE READ

I have just done some research into this situation.

Take a few minutes to examine your invoice and you will likely see that the company registration number is 11065473. A quick look on Companies House will show that this is a company called Sonia A, with only one director Sonia Otoo. The VAT number, 289 673 533, also relates to a company called Sonia A registered in Dagenham. I have also checked bank records and payments go to Sonya A even though you have been advised that the company is trading as Rolling Door Concepts. This is who you have paid, NOT Rolling Door Concept Ltd.

This is nothing to do with Mr Pybus and is a company run by a Mr Kelly from Colchester. I hope this helps target resources in the right direction. It is right to be angry and these actions should be stopped, so please use this to target the people responsible. Good luck.

Ordered a door but scammed!!

Ordered a door and paid a deposit. They sent an email offering a refund as 'We haven't got an installer in your area'.
Sent bank details to get a BAC's payment. Nothing!!
Finally a cheque arrived, addressed incorrectly but my postman knew who it was for.
Paid into bank, cleared but then rejected!!
Their website is dead and all the phone numbers are not working.
Yes, they have scammed me and probably many others.
Luckily I paid by credit card and the bank are sorting out a refund.

Scammers

A friend had used these and recommended them. Did lots of research and in general they received positive reviews (now very sceptical of companies who advertise heavily on FB and their control of the comments). Purchased a door on Aug 11th and was given an install date of Oct 5th. Received an email on Oct 5th saying they had tried to call me (they hadn't) and the fitter was on paternity leave so would have to re-organise. Alarm bells were ringing. They then gave me the next date of Oct 19th. No fitter arrived, and after some research / trying to contact them its clear they've done a runner and gone bump.

I paid with a visa debit, contacted my bank and have been refunded the full amount. If this has happened to you please please contact your bank. You don't always have to have paid by credit card to claim baclk in these instances.

Personally I'm kicking myself for trusting to buy from a business that I havent met before, lesson learnt!
