You won’t be disappointed….online shopping with a personal touch.

A friend recommended quantum av to me when I needed some decent cables for my existing av setup. I didn’t have to wait long, they seemed to magically appear at my door the next morning like some sort of time travelling black magic.
Spurred on by this, when the time came to spend some decent cash on some floor standing speakers, I thought I’d give them a call and see what they could “sell” me.
All I can say is that if every shop in the country was as knowledgable and keen to help as the guys on the end of the phone, Amazon would be bankrupt by now.
If it’s on the website buy it from here, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent

High quality products that are very keenly priced. Knowledgeable staff who are customer focused, attentive and swift to react. Free next day delivery. An excellent customer experience and I will definitely purchase from Quantum AV in the future.

Loyal customer for 11 years

I have used QuantumAV for all my purchases in av since 2014

Most recently 8 monitor audio outdoor speakers, and 4 wiim ultra, oh and an AVM 70 for my main system.

Great advice, service and rapid delivery and very keen on pricing.

Definitely my go to.

Keep it up guys.

It's what people do not what they say...

It's 1* because there's no zero! Contacted the company yesterday and arranged to visit today between 10-16.00. Took me a 40 minute drive but the store was still closed at 10.15 . Phoned the same guy who casually declared he was too busy to open the store today. Claimed to have just been trying to locate my number to let me know.... after opening time? Thanks. I'm sure there are other companies out there who will help me find a music system plus speakers plus wireless speakers...my big fat present to myself. Told me the store would 'probably' be open tomorrow - hilarious. Trying to buy local didn't pay off here but at least I know what standard of customer service I may have been dealing with 👎.

Hi David, I'm sorry you had this issue. I have looked back and your email fell in to our Spam folder and my apologies it was not picked up. We have no recollection of any telephone call with the store either for your query?

Also we are not a Bang and Olufsen dealer so would not be able to assist you with this product anyway and would have directed you to their dealer website.

I can appreciate your frustration with your product but to leave a 1 star response is very harsh particularly as we are not a B&O dealer.

Great customer service, price and delivery

Great customer service and delivery
I contacted them to order a B&W zeppelin speaker, and to confirm delivery times.
Andrew responded to me, was very helpful and responsive.
I ordered the speaker, which came the next day.
Great service, and great price, over £150 cheaper than other retaikers

Choose a bigger and reputable HiFi Store…

I would urge you to choose a bigger and more reputable store over these guys where Consumer Rights act applies. With regards to "not selling you what they want" I disagree. Andrew Katsouris is a long time associate with B&W and the £15k B&W 802 they sold me was not fit for purpose. I was told "people stand on the 800 series drivers at the B&W factory to showcase its built quality and strength". What happens when I receive and play my EDM music? The drives all go. Then B&W receive a sample of the music I listen to and tells us the drivers are "over-working", in other words not suitable for the type of music I listen to. I then open a return request within my 30 day return period. Then, all of a sudden, I am accused of abusing the speakers, all in order not to refund me for the forced sale! Well, As Mr. Katsouris knows, the alternative Yamaha speakers I sourced have been working just fine and producing the sound levels I always desired with the type of music I want to listen to not Katsouris wants to play. B&W speakers are just an empty can. You'd be foolish to buy a B&W speakers and even bigger fool to buy from Quantum AV. Now, if Katsouris understood my needs and sold me something like a Klipsch la Scala, which was also similarly priced, this would have been a five star review and I would have been a happy customer. Instead, I am doing all the research and learning.... And suing Mr. Katsouris! Shame on you Mr. Katsouris!

Denon AVR-X3400H – intermittent fault since new – poor customer service. Do not buy from QuantumAV

I bought this unit which would not work consistently as it displayed intermittently a flashing red light and would not restart. QuantumAV took the unit back four times. They and Denon claimed it was not faulty and said the problem rested with my set up and speakers. At QuantumAV’s recommendation I have had speakers tested and they are fine. I explained several times that my set up had not changed from when it ran a Denon 2200 without problems.

They have offered £350 for a trade in against a new purchase but will not pay £350 for return the unit. In other words they have admitted it is a faulty unit but will not compensate me unless I spend more money with them. They have dragged out this problem so long that it is now out of warranty.

I have finally given up with them and bought a new AV from a local store of a nationwide chain that offers good customer service. The unit has been installed and works perfectly with my existing set up.

I can only recommend do not to buy from QuantumAV but buy from your local retailer, such as Richer Sounds, who can provide good customer service.

Mr Gordon’s unit (purchased October 2018) was collected in June 2020 and sent to Denon’s service centre where it was found to have no fault. In September 2020 it was sent again to Denon who reported the diagnostics of the unit showed it went into thermal protection previously so they suspect it has either been overdriven or there is a fault with one of the speakers connected to it. They had it running for three weeks on their test bed and no fault was found.

In November 2020 Mr Gordon contacted us to say he had not been able to use the unit for a week as it was unresponsive after disconnecting all connections and trying this repeatedly. This time we collected the unit and set it up in our demo room ourselves before sending it to Denon. The unit powered up straight away and we ran it for three continuous days with a mixture of music and movies with no issues. This is despite the unit not working for Mr Gordon twenty-four hours earlier. We continued to support Mr Gordon despite the model being out of warranty and had stated we would continue to do so. We also sent Mr Gordon banana plugs to use as he was using bare wire connections which increase the chance of cable shorts.

Mr Gordon claimed that his local shop tested his speakers but offered no service report other than to say they plugged them in and they were happy sound came out. This does not check whether there could be any impedance issue that would cause a thermal issue.

Finally, in an effort to help, we offered to trade this unit in against a newer model. This was despite there being no fault with the unit but due to the significant costs we had borne from multiple shipments, testing time and banana plugs – all done at no cost to Mr Gordon. Mr Gordon declined to take this offer as he wished to purchase a new unit elsewhere. We appreciate Mr Gordon is frustrated but the fault lies with his set-up and we have tried all avenues to support him. If this is deemed poor customer support then we are not sure what else we could do!

Super Fast Delivery

Rang Quantum to check availabilty on a Marantz NR1711, with them being like hens teeth at present.

Fortunately they had a couple left in stock. Placed an order, and the amp landed less than 24 hours after ordering. Fantastic service!

Excellent service

Purchased a reciever that was no longer being sold as a new model was released.

They contacted me to let me know this and for the mix up provided me with an apologetic discount (for taking the order for the older reciever when they had'nt got any). Once this mistake was identified and a solution agreed, they had the newer model shipped out to me the next day.

Absolutely brilliant service from Andrew and the rest of the team, I am currently thinking about updating my system (the reciever was a present for somebody else) and will be using these guys for sure!!

Five star service. Keep up the good work.

Amazing shortcut to multi zone playback

Although I had previously managed to internally modify my old Oppo BDP-85SE Nu Force player to become multi-region using a DIY kit, the kits available for the obviously more complex Oppo BDP 105EU suggested a more forbidding task for a novice. Enter the External Multi Zone Mod for Oppo BDP103/105/103D/105D , which entirely obviated the need for any internal hardware modification and just had to be plugged in. So far I have tried it with two region A and two region free discs (in region A as well as region B playback mode), and in each case it worked beautifully. With the latter discs the feature of automatic playback resumption from stop/turn off position was retained in either playback mode. Hence the absence of this feature when playing the region A discs, was probably disc related rather than having anything to do with the player or the modification.

Once again excellent service.

Thanks Andrew for you honest and well informed advice over the last few months and I am now enjoying a wonderful home cinema sound system.

I would highly recommend "quantumAV" to anybody who want his dealer to go that little bit extra.

Fast and reliable service, thorough and accurate information to the public

Oppo 105 Durbee multiregions and multizones is an accomplished universal reader. Not only do you get a stunning video quality but also a precise and fully enjoyable audiophile sound from CDs, SAudio CDs, Audio DVDs and Audio Blu Rays.
The hardware modification which allows to use any discs works wonderfully.
In synthesis, an excellent purchase, a machine easily on the same level as much more expensive solutions.
