AVOID unless you read every line of small print. I signed up for their advertised "free" QR code generator on 26 June. There's a small note about a 7-day trial, but nothing anywhere that mentions you're also agreeing to waive your legal right to cancel a future paid subscription — that's buried separately in their Terms.
When the trial expired I upgraded, and checkout showed a headline price of €12 with "(billed annually)" in barely-visible light grey text underneath it — no total was ever shown before I paid. I only found out I'd been charged for a full year when my bank sent the payment notification. The same "Subscribe Now" button apparently doubled as both my payment confirmation and my agreement to waive my 14-day right to cancel.
I requested a refund within days of realising, having never used the paid subscription at all — my account dashboard confirms zero activity after payment. They refused, quoting EU/UK withdrawal-right law, despite the fact that no use of the paid service ever took place.
In my view, this checkout is designed to obscure the real cost and quietly strip away cancellation rights — which looks a lot like the "drip pricing" practice UK regulators have specifically banned since April 2025. Reading the reviews here, I'm clearly not the only one this has happened to. Proceed with real caution and screenshot everything before you pay.

Overall dissapointed
Overall, I am very disappointed with this company. When issues arose, they showed no willingness to help or offer any flexibility. Some of their emails appeared to be automated or AI-generated rather than genuine responses. Their website also creates a misleading impression of their pricing.

Scam
This company is a scam.
The links from the QR codes are held hostage if you do not pay a yearly subscription. They injected their own links into the QR and if the subscription is not active, you are being redirected to their pages.
Even when it's working, the link has a redirect, it's not a direct request.

The website is misleading
The website is misleading. It appeared under my search for a FREE QR Code creator. Apparently it is free to create but not free to actually use. The VERY TINY asterisk next to 'Free QR Code Generator Online' was found at the very bottom explaining in tiny print about the free trial. There was no option under 'QR Code Types' for Static - all the options shown are Dynamic types. I was looking for a one-time use QR code for shower invitation that would take a person to the registry website and not expire. Printed the QR code on the invitations and the code expired before the invitations were mailed! Was not going to pay subscription of over $100 to keep a one-time code active - spent $9 on labels, reprinted a QR code from a TRULY free QR Code website, covered the one generated from this website.
