Overall, I am very disappointed with this company. When issues arose, they showed no willingness to help or offer any flexibility. Some of their emails appeared to be automated or AI-generated rather than genuine responses. Their website also creates a misleading impression of their pricing.

Scam
This company is a scam.
The links from the QR codes are held hostage if you do not pay a yearly subscription. They injected their own links into the QR and if the subscription is not active, you are being redirected to their pages.
Even when it's working, the link has a redirect, it's not a direct request.

The website is misleading
The website is misleading. It appeared under my search for a FREE QR Code creator. Apparently it is free to create but not free to actually use. The VERY TINY asterisk next to 'Free QR Code Generator Online' was found at the very bottom explaining in tiny print about the free trial. There was no option under 'QR Code Types' for Static - all the options shown are Dynamic types. I was looking for a one-time use QR code for shower invitation that would take a person to the registry website and not expire. Printed the QR code on the invitations and the code expired before the invitations were mailed! Was not going to pay subscription of over $100 to keep a one-time code active - spent $9 on labels, reprinted a QR code from a TRULY free QR Code website, covered the one generated from this website.

Easy peasy
This is by far the easiest QR code generator I have used. I was looking for one that supported QR codes for email addresses, and this one does. If only their website had been easier to find, I could have saved myself an hour trying Adobe Express (which cannot do email QR codes) and other so-called free sites that ask for only one euro up front and then tie you to a recurrent subscription for 5 million euros a month.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE A LOT OF MONEY ON NOTHING MUCH.
The website advertises that it gives free QR codes. But that’s only for maybe 2 weeks?
Then they have ridiculously expensive plans of $10/50 a month.
If you sign up for a plan, they bill you for a whole year without informing you before you subscribe that it is an annual plan only.
Then they refuse to give you any refund.
Guess what you get for $10 a month?
ONE QR CODE TO USE.
You can make FREE UNLIMITED permanent QR codes made on Google Chrome browser and Canva.
The service and policies of this company is obviously extremely disappointing.
