I really do enjoy this app, it's helping me improve my writing. However, there's a minor concern with pronouns. My character, Aiz, uses they/them pronouns, and it keeps correcting everything as if I'm... See more

The ProWritingAid program itself is great, but I could really stand to do without the AI garbage.
The Firefox plugin needs some work as it acts wonky with certain sites like Archive of Our Own and Bluesky.
ProWritingAid is amazing for editing…
ProWritingAid is amazing for editing your books. It gives you plenty of suggestions for your sentences. It had also helped me with things such as spelling errors and improving my punctuation!! Highly recommend!!
The interface is easy to use
The interface is easy to use. It does provide a lot of spelling and grammar help. I use the rephrasing feature a lot, it fixes some awkward statements.
Sometimes I see more information about My Account than other times. There is some service I have used once and can't use again until I pay more, but when I look now I can't find with that service is.
I love ProWritingAid!
I love all the customizable settings ProWritingAid has to offer, and how wonderful the grammar check is! I love the way it connects different authors, and the challenges (like Novel November) it has to offer! I like the simplicity, and it seems like something made for author use, unlike grammarly, simply used to check grammar and use AI.
Wish it were cheaper to upgrade
Wish it were cheaper to upgrade to the pro version and receive all the benefits from that upgrade. Otherwise, I love it.
great product but paywall method ain't good
better than grammarly. however, if it didn't paywall basic Grammer and instead paywalled rephrasing, i would've give it a 5.
Best grammar checker around
A good grammar checker that does not enforce using AI. Premium is very expensive, but the free version is definitely the best grammar checker I've found. Actually works properly, unlike the likes of Grammerly and Quillbot, whose AI integration has made them both unusable.

I like that it will rephase but I hate that it can mess up your paper sometimes
So far so good
So far so good, I've used Grammarly, LanguageTool and Harper. This is is very fast and does provide options. The only "drawback", sometimes it selects something to be rephrase but.. sadly its behind a paywall. Other than that, it has been amazing!
I love ProWritingAid
I love ProWritingAid. Not only is it useful, but it is also fun. They added contests to their program, and I really enjoy them.
Good enough
I enjoy that it gives feedback on my writing, but I wish that most of the feedback didn't need to be paid for.
Helps you be better.
It corrects me in certain places and tells me why so I can learn and improve. I think that's neat and helpful since I want to get better at writing and be the best at it.
The story telling features are nice but…
The story telling features are nice but I can't believe that some goddamn grammar suggestions are hidden behind pay walls! I care about grammar over spelling in these software because it's more of a week spot but instead I need to pay for certain grammar things. pathetic. don't push you upgrade tier that hard, please.
Mixed feelings...
I do wish it were as helpful as Grammarly's no-pay option. I like using it, and it truly does help, but it seems that it constantly only has premium suggestions, which is frustrating sometimes.
Maybe there could be an option to turn off premium suggestions since we can't even see them?
I like the format but maybe not so many premium popups
I like the format and suggestions, but perhaps avoid making it so difficult not to accidentally make a premium ad pop up because it makes me want uninstall the extension just because of all the ads hanging around left in the way. However In whole, it is really helpful.
its very good
its very good for if you like writing stories and want to publish them its very helpful
So far so good
So far so good. Might need to pay for it to get the full benefits.
