Does a pretty good job of sealing our cat into the back garden. Very expensive kit, even more outrageous price if you get them to do the instal. Saved two thirds off of cost by getting our handyman to put it up, it’s not rocket science.

Best decision I’ve made is to get the barrier fitted & keep my cats safe. I originally wanted to have the cats as indoors but was difficult letting the dog in & out into the garden as cats would stand by the door & now 1 week on they can all go out into the garden together with the knowledge they’re safe. More people should do this as, depending on your financial circumstances, it’s more affordable than you might think & we do it for dogs without hesitation. Fitters were done within a few hours. Cats tried a few times to get out but soon gave up & now I have peace of mind which is priceless. Thank you ProtectaPet for the great service you offer

We recently had ProtectaPet install cat fencing in our garden to keep our two kittens safe, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Marcus, who carried out the installation, was quick, tidy, and very professional throughout the process.

The fencing looks great, was installed with care, and gives us real peace of mind knowing our kittens can safely explore outside. They’re already loving their new freedom — enjoying the sunshine (when we get it!) and exploring the garden without us worrying.

The frame is wonderful but unfortunately the netting does not have a fire safety certificate therefore cannot be used in a block of flats. Alternate netting had to be purchased

They didn’t ask for any specific fire safety compliance and I have used a flame retardant bird netting which works but obviously not reinforced.

Absolutely amazing work carried out by Warren, you can tell he really cares about his job and the animals he is protecting.

Max and Tom installed our fence today. They were very polite & professional and did a great job. The fencing blends well with the garden. All 3 cats soon enjoyed a few hours exploring!

In 2019 Protectapet enclosed our garden and did a fantastic job. Fast forward to 2025 and we have moved house. We have a VERY small garden but were quoted over £6.5k. As our cats are family we decided to go ahead despite the hefty price tag.
The installers came and just couldn't wait to get the job over and done with. We took down a shed they didn't want to enclose as it would make life easier for them and even let them drill into the walls even though we'd paid for freestanding posts.
Down the side of our house there is a very narrow passage. We were told (and paid for) extenders that would mean the cats could not jump from the windowsills. However, they attached posts to the wall and then attached mesh with cable ties and stapled it to our gutters and fascias!! What a mess AND it has damaged our fascias! The area wasn't even all covered! Low and behold one of our cats has figured out how to escape and it's probably only a matter of time before the others do.
Today, after being contacted by Protectapet, we were offered a £300 refund as 'a gesture of goodwill' OR they would come and rectify the problem. We chose to have the installation amended but then had an email saying it couldn't be done as originally promised AND one of their installers has called us liars and said we allowed them to do this shoddy work! If I can find a way to attach photos I will as it has to be seen to be believed. This must be some kind of joke, I wouldn't pay over £6.5k for cable ties and stapling. Once a great company but not any more. Considering Small Claims Court action.

EDIT: please note, we have NOT accepted the 'refund' offered from Protectapet. It was originally £300 and was then reduced to £48. This paltry amount was refused as it cost over £6.5k and they've not done the job promised and they have damaged my house. This company is not run by the original people and is now a dreadful company who only care about profit. AVOID

Equipment purchased was of good quality and was relatively easy to assemble, delivery arrived on time. Would 100% use this firm again although both cats wouldnt.....

they did the best they can do in my situation as the roof was lower than expected so it was designed to fit my premises, i am happy with outcome

This product is superb. Easy to order, and quite simple to install. Thoroughly recommend for cat owners. Peace of mind for our babies now.

ProtectaPet were called back to reinstate our fencing after we had a tree felled. Not only did they sort out the missing fencing, they noticed some of the brackets were bent and some of the fence was worn, so they replaced that too. A great service from a trusted company and I would highly recommend them! The perfect way to keep your furry family safe! Thank you

We bought our cat fence recently as Hubert our maine coon escaped we had an electric fence which at 1st wasn't powerful enough but protectapet were amazing and wouldn't rest until we were happy they kept in constant touch with us and were very efficient would definitely use again if need be and highly recommend

The two guys who came were brilliant it was a boiling hot day they just cracked on with it when they needed information they asked. I had a query to cats hanging on the mesh they said they have had big Maine coons hanging on these although I understood I still think it’s possible for our monsters to damage them

Hi I didn’t say we had a Maine coon they told me that they have seen Maine coons hang from the netting I was just worried because our monsters could probably be the ones to break it just by being themselves

A great product. Does what it says it will. Keeps my cats safe in the garden where I am close to busy road. Gives me tremendous peace of mind and my two girls freedom.

This is the best thing I have ever done.
I had been worried that my Ragdoll was getting to want to go out. So originally I let him out for 5 minutes keeping an eye on him. My neighbours must have been fed up with me calling him every 5 minutes so earlier in the year I made the decision to had my fence put up. What a difference it has made for me and my 3 cats. They love being in the garden all day with me just calling him especially periodically the other 2 are elderly. So thank you Pet Protect for providing the fencing etc. My sanity in the end was saved. and I have 3 very happy especially Simba cats.
