Customer service is thorough, but…
Customer service is thorough and of a very high standard, but it can be slow for requests out of the ordinary, like what happens when moving abroad etc. It would be so much easier if Prosper just published this information the way some other platforms do.

What a great company to deal with! The customer service is above and beyond any high street banking chain. Online chat has immediate replies with knowledgable people, not just a bot to start with. Not only knowledgable but extremely helpful. If only all banking was like this!

interest returned in 2 stages
I was invited to invest in a savings account at 4.6%, but only received about 4%.
This company apparently failed in its promise.
Response by email from Prosper is this was a boosted interest account and a second payment was due from Prosper, which arrived 16 th Feb. I just didn't understand the process but all good now. Now that I understand how it works I'll consider investing further.

Answered before working hours with enough info that I checked 'Summary' in docs and understood boost payment. Further response to give timing for withdrawal availability.
Having read some of the negative feedback I felt it important to say I felt well supported.

Poor customer service
The company's phone is manned by an answering service. I telephoned twice and was informed someone would contact me. This did not happen. Quite disappointing. I won't be using this platform again.

Easy to set up and use via App. Rates favour new customers.
I found the whole experience of setting up and funding my account very easy. The app works well. The rates on short-term savings bonds were excellent when I invested last year but currently these are only available to new customers.

Does everything I need
Had an account for a few months, so far been great: put money in, big selection of funds with lots of info, and investments are going well.
The process of paying into a pension straight from a company is a bit clunky but it does work, and the support was very helpful & quick.
