I Won My Chargeback Claim! Stay Away From PropShopTrader

I signed up for an Instant Gladiator account in December 2025, which bypassed the evaluation phase. By January 2026, the rules had already changed -- Sim payouts were removed and new benchmarks were introduced. After that, the rules continued to shift multiple times, creating constant uncertainty.

At the same time, the Trader Dashboard was consistently inaccurate. The numbers displayed didn’t match actual performance metrics. Every discrepancy required emailing PST support, pointing out the errors, and waiting for manual corrections. The same issues would reappear days later, suggesting nothing was actually fixed at the root level. I repeatedly heard from Santiago or Militsa that things were “resolved,” but they weren’t. It became an endless loop of follow-ups.

On top of that, I started receiving random account deactivation emails claiming I had violated rules. Each one triggered another support thread. PST clearly knew this was widespread -- their almost immediate response was always, “Ignore it, it’s fake.” I also received daily warnings stating “14 Days Left to Prevent Account Deactivation” due to inactivity, even when trades had been placed. These were also false. Then there were phantom trades on Tickblaze -- I caught an open order I never placed and was lucky to close it quickly with minimal loss.

### Chargeback Claim

By May 2026, I had enough. Despite my account being in good standing, I filed a chargeback for $238.74 (account fee plus currency exchange fee) through my Visa issuer, citing poor service quality. I submitted extensive documentation, including email threads with PST support acknowledging issues and a statement from Sean Kozak admitting to platform instability.

The bank issued a provisional credit and began its investigation. PST responded by pushing for arbitration but failed to provide any meaningful rebuttal to the documented problems -- unstable systems, incorrect metrics, and ongoing platform bugs.

Instead, PST responded to me directly with a threatening email titled “Chargeback Notice – Immediate Action Required,” signed by Steven from Compliance & Escalation. They demanded I withdraw the chargeback or face consequences, including reporting me to card networks, pursuing additional fees and legal costs, and permanently restricting access to their services. At that point, losing access felt more like a benefit than a threat.

### July 1 – Chargeback Finalized

The bank ultimately ruled in my favor and finalized the credit. The dispute was closed.

I immediately locked my credit card to prevent any further attempts at billing. That turned out to be a wise decision.

### PST’s Final Move

Shortly after, I received an email from PST stating that “my order” had failed due to a declined transaction -- for the exact same amount of $238.74. I had not placed any order. This appeared to be a direct attempt to recover the disputed funds.

Lessons Learned

1) You can challenge poor service. A chargeback based on quality of service is a valid option.
2) Keep all communication with support. Every acknowledgment of an issue strengthens your case.
3) Clearly explain the nature of prop trading in your dispute. It’s not a typical subscription model, and clarity helps the reviewer understand your claim.
4) Document everything, including external reviews that show similar issues affecting other users.
5) If you're already in a PST account, do take daily screenshots of your dashboard, compare it against the Accounts tab in Tickblaze.
6) If you're posting reviews on TrustPilot or any other forum, do focus on what actually matters: platform stability, accurate metrics, transparent rules, and reliable payouts -- superficial support responses don't amount to much.

Good luck, traders.

Hi Ganesh,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry that this was your experience, and we genuinely wish we had been given the opportunity to continue assisting you directly.

Throughout this process, our support team maintained ongoing communication through your open support ticket and remained available to review your concerns and provide assistance.

We would also like to clarify one point regarding your review. No further charges were attempted on your payment method. The payment failure notification you received reflected the original order status being updated - it was not a new transaction or a new charge attempt.

We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your trading journey.

SCAM Company, Stay Away!!!

Terrible experience with PST. I started with 6*500k accs in 2025, then in Jan 2026 when they transition over to the new platform I was given 5*100k accs.

When they transition over I requested to be refunded but their COO Ashley denied my refund request as I paid by crypto. They knew I can't chargeback if I have paid by card. Her email below:

Thank you for your continued patience while we completed a full review with our legal and accounting teams.

After careful review, we’re unable to proceed with a refund for this transaction. Because the original purchase was made via cryptocurrency, the payment is non-refundable in accordance with our Terms of Service for crypto payments.

While we initially reviewed the request internally, cryptocurrency payments are irreversible and fall outside of card and banking refund mechanisms. Unfortunately, this means we are not able to return funds sent via crypto.

That said, if you do wish to continue trading with PropShopTrader, we’re happy to offer a goodwill option. We can provide you with a reset code that will allow you to reactivate five (5) of your previous accounts so you can resume trading without needing to repurchase new accounts.

If this is something you’d like to proceed with, simply let us know and we’ll arrange it for you.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for the time you spent with PropShopTrader.

We wish you continued success in your trading journey.

Ashley,
Managing Partner
PropShopTrader

As I can't get a refund, I had no choice but to accept the 5*100k accs. I started copy trading all 5 accs in May using their Ignite Copier. First day of using it, my trades can't be closed, instead of closing it open more and more trades until the max loss was breached. Reported this incident and after 6 weeks they still can't fix it by giving all kind of excuses. Their email below:

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us.

I want to once again apologize for the continued delays and for the experience you have had over the past several weeks. I completely understand why you have lost confidence, and I genuinely appreciate the patience you have shown throughout this process.

Kindly note that your five 100K accounts have been fully utilized and have been actively used since March. In addition, these accounts were originally issued through a complimentary coupon at no cost to you in order to accommodate your transition from a previous account size. As the accounts have been fully redeemed and the service has been fully utilized, they are considered a completed service. For this reason, refund consideration is not applicable.

Regarding the reconciliation process, I want to reassure you that your accounts remain included in the ongoing review. This process involves thoroughly investigating, validating, and verifying account data and trading activity to ensure each account is reviewed individually and that any applicable corrections or adjustments are applied consistently based on the verified trading records. While I understand the length of this process has been frustrating, our goal is to ensure every account is handled accurately rather than making isolated manual changes that could create further inconsistencies.

I also want to reassure you that the Tickblaze team continues to actively develop and deploy platform updates and fixes aimed at improving overall platform performance, stability, and the trading experience.

That said, I also understand your concerns about continuing with your current accounts. If your preference is to start fresh rather than wait for the reconciliation to conclude, we would be happy to explore an alternative with you. As a gesture of flexibility, we can look into replacing your current accounts with five 50K Sprint Evaluation accounts instead. This is simply an option we are making available to you, and there is absolutely no obligation or pressure to accept it if it is not something you are interested in.

At this time, your existing accounts will continue through the reconciliation process, and if our review determines that any corrections are required, they will be applied accordingly based on the verified trading data.

If you need help with anything else in the meantime, our support team is here to assist you.

Best regards,
Militsa
Manager – Client Experience & Support

Still refusing to refund me and instead wants to give me another 5 complimentary 50k accs to trade on their unstable Tickblaze platform which is a joke.

Please stay away from PST as they are a SCAM company as there are much better prop firms around like Topstep, Lucid, Tradeify etc which is more reputable with a much more stable platform to trade.

Had this account 7 months. Just completed the 8/8 benchmarks in 25K futures account with of course no $ paid to me; PST risk dept. won't allow me to move to live and signing bonus as advertised saying I shouldn't ever lose >$250 in any closed trade, even though my MAE for this account is $625, so as to mimic a live account risk management. In 6 months of off and on trading this account, I have 2/3 MAE breaches, and half a dozen times been over the $250 loss on a trade, but have kept the account and made almost $8,000 in net profit. Also, PST just recently went back to offering sim funded accounts. Good grief.

Junk prop firm

Like many other reviewers said before, this prop company is trying, in my opinion, to combine a stupid, unstable platform (Tickblaze) with providing in-house real-time data. The result: traders cannot execute immediately a market order, nor can a limit order get executed... The platform acts as if it were totally desynchronized; moreover, due to its latency, it may keep market orders to execute later because they are placed in a queue with a large number of participants... This Tickblaze platform produces losses big time (just got one of my account failed because it was impossible to close a position with a market order), I don't understand how they made their decision to provide it to traders... And they don't allow traders to use alternative platform, much better then this crap!...Most likely, because they managed to develop this in-house, its the only explanation I have...This prop firm tries to make it on the market using non-mature tools and sells all sorts of automations/indicators to traders that have no ideea what they are about to face...Stay away, is a total waste of time and money!...

I do not recommend. Problems with the platform and dashboard

Based on the personal experience I had with this propfirm, I do not recommended it.

I had issues with the dashboard/tickblaze not showing the correct numbers and it's almost 1 month, no resolution.

Support, was OK, since they only saying at every message from my side that the account is in review, etc, but no resolution. I sent screenshots from Tickblaze / web dashboard and also some logs.

The only time when was great, it was when a hedging flag appear. it was solved fast.

These problems with the tool/dashboard and the lack of resolution from support, convinced me to work with another propfirm.

Bye bye propshoptrader, hi Lucid Trading!

----------------Update 17.08.2026

Support closed the tickets I was mentioned without solutions. They mentioned that will reset an account, passed 3 weeks and no new account.

I had 1 benchmark, but because of the tickblaze platform issues, the account was blown. The Tickblaze support acknowledged and I provided the response to proshoptrader, but nothing happen till now.

Scam Company

For the past three weeks, my dashboard has been out of sync with the trading platform. No solution has been provided; I am simply told to “wait".

Interestingly, the issue has remained unresolved precisely when I became eligible for a payout.

RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

UPDATE 06/29/2026: They still have the same “problem” after more than a month. They refuse to offer anything in return—no refund, no replacement accounts, no compensation. Absolutely nothing.

This is a scam. Do not buy from this prop firm.

Support is great, system is in real trouble

First, I want to say the support that I have received from Steven, Brian and Santiago has been incredible. Their live must be a living hell right now as I will explain. The company did a migration from Rithmic to an internal system. The data conversion went far awry and everything has been fubar ever since. Hence, the living hell for the support staff. After doing database design and financial system implementation, I see that PropShop Trader has violated 3 of the 5 cardinal sins of "best practices" design. As a result, at one point 100% of the data on the Trader Dashboard was incorrect. With the recent improvements we are much better with only about 90% of the information being incorrect. All of the major pieces of information, like account balance and benchmark achievements, are still incorrect. There has been no timeline for fixing all of the major flaws. Many of the flaws, in my opinion, will haunt the system from now on due to one major design issue, the trader dashboard uses different sources for the same data. Primary example, the profit shown in the account balance is not the sum of the profits from the profit of the individual trading days. This is a major issue that causes me great concern.

I have been with other prop trading firms for several years and I fund that PropShop Trader's implementation of a prop trading firm to exceed any other firm that I have tested and used. The steps from evaluation account to live trading account are clear and easy to follow. The payouts in an eval account are unprecedented. Overall, I really like working with Prop Shop. Here is my breakdown as of today:

Customer Service -- 5 stars
Prop Trading Model -- 5 stars
Business Implementation -- 0 stars

If PropShop can ever get the Trader Desktop fixed, this would be the premier prop trading firm, ever.

We would like to clarify that Santiago has remained in active communication with you and has continued assisting you through your open support ticket.

Regarding the payout request, it was rejected because the account failed during the payout review period. As outlined in our rules, if an account fails during the review process, the payout will be automatically rejected.

We understand this outcome can be frustrating. However, our rules and requirements are clearly outlined on our website and within our FAQs for all traders to review.

I had two gladiator accounts when pst needed to migrate from Rithmic. For some reason they were unable to migrate my balances which had great balances in the thousands. They never informed me that the migration failed until i asked many times over five weeks. Finally, they gave me reset accounts as "a onetime curtesy" Yeah right give me a break. The metrics in the pst dashboard still weren't right, and in one account I was notified twice, the most recent was today that my account was deactivated for breaking the rules when I hadn't traded that account at all since the so-called reset. I would advise anyone to stay away from this firm.
