Definitely a scam

Definitely a scam! I was in a hurry for updated headshots due to significant weight loss. The pictures looked nothing like me and the terrible part was that some pictures was my likeness of doctors and people with my face holding army guns and rifles. A bit unnerving wondering what they will do with those pictures! Stay away from this site!

Total scam

Total scam. My photos never generated and the status bar is permanently stuck at 70% with no way to restart or resubmit. There is no contact information for customer service on the website.

Julian Sarokin is a scammer

SCAM. Unfortunately I was in a hurry so I paid without checking reviews first. Supposedly you have 2 reviews, but as soon as you get the pics, the website comes back saying that the purchase was done more than 30 days ago (even though it was done the day before). So no way to get edits. Julian Sarokin (app owner) ghosts you and will not respond to messages. You can contact him at hello at prophotos.ai or Julian at juliansarokin.com. You will never hear from him.

NONE of ProPhoto.ai's generated photos even resemble me!

NONE OF THIS PICTURES LOOK LIKE ME!!!! I have spent thousands of dollars on my teeth, and NONE of their pictures depict my smile or face in general. My body was also far from being correct. All of the photos were taken within the last three months. Their photos do not look like those I sent them, and they were all similar. It is undeniable that the company could not capture the true me. I purchased the service today, and I have requested an immediate refund!

Terrible

Terrible, especially for Asian people. We used it at our office and they portrayed my colleagues as different races, some in what looks like a hooters outfit, and in very casual t-shirts and in some instances quite inappropriate outfits. The faces were different enough that they weren't even the same part of East Asia. It was outrageous, we went with two other companies and the difference was night and day. Beware, this company seems to spend a lot of money on ads and review lists to push themselves.

Of the three photos that kind of looked like my colleague, I showed them and they laughed. She had cousins that looked closer. No one else in the office thought they photos looked like my colleague.

We asked for a refund, they simply never replied despite numerous emails and requests.

The absolute worst...

I wish I'd read the Trustpilot reviews before spending US$39 on THE WORST AI portrait shots, imaginable. Absolutely cringeworthy. Almost comical. Cartoon-esque. NOTHING to my likeness. I can't explain how truly bad the results were. And I'd provided high quality photos of myself, for the tool to use, as instructed. Genuinely blown away at how bad this service is.

If I could rate a 0 stars I would

If I could rate a 0 stars I would. Went to purchase their headshot basic plan and it told me my zip code didn’t match my card. I have two cards with two different zip codes so I tried the other one thinking I got confused. It ended up charging me twice for the plan without giving me any headshots or letting me get a refund. Emailed them 3 times and am now out money because of this issue.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A…

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY! Oh how I wish there was a "NO-STAR" option! I uploaded some good quality headshots of my daughter in January, who is black, and the photos that this company generated for me looked absolutely nothing like her! Most of them were photos of a white woman! Like what the actual??? I emailed this company on 27th January, and I received an automatic reply saying someone will get back to me in 24 hours. I did not hear back from them. So I emailed again, even put a refund request through their website repeatedly, and it's now March 15th, yet no reply. Unfortunately the bank cannot help because at the end of the day I received the service, even though it was not what I had paid for. Money gone down the drain. But companies like this will not prosper for long....

Don't waste money on it

Don't waste money on it. I uploaded 6 photos of different distances, angles and lightings. But the results are very disappointing. Nothing alike what I look like. Does not even look like anyone who is biologically related to me. The costs shown in their website are in USD. I am in Australia. When I browsed to their payment option page nothing in the UI indicates it is in USD until after I made the payment and received notification from my bank app on my phone. If I could give 0 point, I would give this website 0.

Wish I read these reviews before trying it...

Wish I read these reviews before trying it. Not only did the photos look nothing like me (more like a caricature) the AI added physical features that I don't have like a bindi and a nose ring to my so-called 'headshots'. I'm not even Indian and I still found these photos incredibly racist and offensive. I've read somewhere that there is always a risk of the AI adding extraneous features like an extra finger or extra limb, but a random bindi and nose ring?! I mean someone had to have programmed the AI to do something like that when it comes across someone who looks like they could be of that ethnicity, right? It seemed really suspicious to me so I deleted my account on the spot. Wish I had gotten a refund.

This service is a scam

This service is a scam. They promise photo-realist shots but generate cartoony pictures. They promise refunds but don't actually deliver. Customer service ignores all requests. Avoid at all costs.
