Absolutely awful. Bought
Proform running machine in June from John Lewis. My daughter was running on it two weeks ago, it let off a massive bang stopped moving and she went flying. It comes with a two year guarantee and yet Pro form will not fix it because it’s not kept inside an insulated house. It’s kept in a log cabin which had heating in it. What a lame excuse. Absolutely fuming. What is the point of a two year guarantee from JL when they say it is the manufacturer who is supplying the two year guarantee. You buy something from a reputable company & for what!
Proform seriously horrendous customer service. Certainly won’t be purchasing anything from them again.
Guarantee from JL & Proform worth less then the paper it’s written on..

Trash products. Got the treadmill and an exercise bike. Both start out working great but tons of software update issues and glitches. After two years, the treadmill will randomly slow down/stop mid workout.

In August 2024, I took advantage of a Labor Day sale on fitness equipment. I purchased a ProForm Pro9000 model, and was assured by a sales rep that an update was coming where I could stream Amazon, Netflix and Spotify on the console was coming soon. The treadmill arrived and everything was fine, but I was assured this thing would eventually be able to stream on a handful of platforms, which was a critical factor in choosing this model over others.
One month, then two, then three, then FOUR months later, the update rolls out. Mind you, technical support reps told me multiple times during this span that my console was "targeted for the update" and it should run it.
Once I FINALLY got the update, somehow my now four month old machine was unable to run the apps. I had a notice stating, "Please note that this generation of fitness equipment does not support streaming services." Seriously? It's a four month old machine that I was assured could run it.
So I contacted customer support, since I also purchased the extended warranty for parts and labor. As far as I'm concerned, this machine is not fully functioning as promised. I was assured repeatedly, "we are looking into it." Now after an entire month of back and forth, I still have a machine that can't run the very simple function I was promised it would run.
Oh, and the updated app? Yeah, it crashes endlessly. I can't finish a workout when it's active so I had to revert to the older version of the app just to finish a 20 minute walk/jog program.
I'll be more than happy to upgrade this review if they would just provide what I was promised by their rep when I bought the machine. Simple as that.
Using the treadmill has been super easy and convenient from the moment it was delivered to our most recent workout. No problems with putting the treadmill together as instructions were clear and concise and all needed tools were included. The treadmill fits perfectly in our home garage gym and folds easily when we need it to. Not a lot of movement in the machine when in use and it's quiet. Smooth transition when incline and decline are used. We've been able to set new fitness goals and stay on track because of this treadmill. This is an incentivized review.
Trash. The display is awful, which is 100% intentional on the manufacturer’s part. It won’t display time and distance at the same time unless you purchase an iFIT membership in addition to the treadmill. And now the display will ONLY show pulse, and never time OR distance.
Very unhappy. Spend your money on a treadmill made by a company that isn’t trying to screw you.
One of the biggest reasons I avoided the treadmill at the gym is because I felt intimidated and overwhelmed by how to use the machine. This treadmill was not only easy to assemble (with all tools included!), but has a simple and concise dashboard. It folds in one motion! I love being able to feel confident stepping on the machine knowing I know how to use it and that I'm capable of getting a workout in at home. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I've had my Proform bike for 3 years, the belt wore out so we ordered a new one. But, there are no instructions at all, anywhere (manual or video) on how to replace it. We could not get it back on. I called the Service number, the procedure for mechanical help is absolutely awful. So, first thing, the person answering the call - you cannot understand half of what he is saying. But, you have to "request" a service technician who then is supposed to call you back within 3-5 days to set an appointment for the service. Also, you have to pay upfront for the service call. As of today, I am waiting for a phone call that I have already paid $180 for. This is a ridiculous procedure to have to do, an appointment should be made at the time of the call and PAYMENT. Also, no email confirmation of anything has been sent. I have to keep notes and numbers of all that has been done. Absolutely terrible customer service. I love the iFit workouts but I will not buy another Proform product.
I am enjoying this program. It took me a few attempts to understand how to do the reviews. Once I understood the details, I love it. I have always wanted to review products. I am so excited to help consumers to make the choice of what machine is bet for them.
The machine has been ideal for our family. I am wondering how did I go so many years without a treadmill in my home. I am loving the convenience of the machine in the home.
The ProForm CarbonTLS Treadmill is an excellent midgrade treadmill. I appreciate how easy it was to assemble. After using the treadmill for numerous workouts, I really feel that the machine is built solidly. I walk and run on the machine during workouts and have not had any problems. I have let numerous members of my family try the machine. Everyone really likes how smooth the machine operates. It is nice to have the built in fan too. It is a little harder for those approximately 5'4" or shorter to feel. The software built in to the machine is easy to use. I like how the bluetooth connection works. I I have an issue connecting to an ipad. A built-in screen on this product would be helpful. Overall, when it comes to being a quality product for daily exercise, this treadmill gets the job done well.
I've loved having this treadmill to help me get my steps continually through winter, I really don't like the cold! I was pleasantly surprised that my husband and I were able to set it up as well. It was definitely heavy, but now that it's all set up, it's very sturdy! My first time trying it, the treadmill was intuitive. I easily understood how to use it, though maybe I'm a simple user and don't need anything fancy! It's been a great addition to our home gym here, and I haven't had any excuses now to be sedentary in the winter!!

I am a fan of fitness and having a wide range of tools to work on my fitness or help others with fitness is a passion of mine. Never having a treadmill till now, adding this one has been great. It is simple, it is easy to use, and it is effective. You can definitely get a great workout on this. Incline capabilities are limited but that's a mini thing. Assembling this was a little difficult. I did assemble this on my own and I would recommend that you follow the instructions and use 2 people. I would also recommend that if you get this, make sure to borrow or use your own tools. The tools provided work, but it will make the assembling process longer to do. The feature of being able to fold the treadmill up is great for the space I have for my at home gym. This is a solid starter treadmill and if you are just geting into fitness, a great place to start!

Purchased a pro form studio bike in October. Took over a month and half to arrive. The belt broke within the first month making it not useable. They sent me replacement parts but no instructions on how to replace the parts after the agent said there would be instructions and its easy. Now I'm stuck taking my whole bike within the first month of using it. Overall cheap bike which fall apart right away. Screen shakes when riding making you feel dizzy. I would avoid this bike. The IFIT classes are good but you need a reliable bike to use them

I was given this product at a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. My overall opinion is that it’s great for the price. It’s a very small, compact, user-friendly treadmill with enough features for a casual runner mom of 4 like me. I like the huge side compartments, they are big enough to hold all the necessities, which is a great feature during a run. I also use the incline feature a lot and I feel like it does a great job with that. It’s easy to set the incline with just a push of a button. I also realty appreciate the fan on this treadmill. It’s powerful enough to cool me down but not powerful enough to make me cold. I am very pleased with this treadmill and would recommend to others like me.
I recently received a ProForm Carbon TLS Treadmill and my experience working with ProForm and using the treadmill has been excellent. From the start with Customer Service to place the order for the treadmill to unpackaging, assembly and using, there have been no issues and a great experience overall. The treadmill has functioned flawlessly, has great build quality, and does what I need it to do. Overall, the treadmill has many pros, such as functionality and simplicity (easy to use), compact (fits nicely in tight spaces), and sturdy. However, if I could change three things on it, they would be 1) move the device shelf so that it isn't right in front of the control buttons, 2) install a hydraulic lift/closer on the track so that it doesn't drop when lowering and assists when lifting, and, 3) lower the step/side track on the side of the belt so your shoe sole doesn't get caught underneath while running/walking. Other that, I think it's a great treadmill for the price. This is an incentivized review, however I have had ample time to use the treadmill many times and am giving an honest review.
The treadmill was great, but whatever you do, do NOT use their financing company. It's offshore, we paid off the credit line but closing it has been a nightmare. They charged us annual fees for an account with a zero balance; when we called to close it, they said they would but didn't, so I had to spend more time on the phone to close it. Again.

This treadmill has been great for my daily walks. I’ve been using it mainly for cardio, and it’s proven to be a quiet, reliable machine. The Proform TLS is easy to store when not in use, and I love how simple it is to adjust the incline and speed. The iFit features are a great addition. The only downside I’ve found is that the deck feels a little small since I'm 6ft+. But for someone like me who prefers walking over running, it’s perfect. I’d definitely recommend this treadmill for indoor walking.

I’ve been using the Proform Carbon TLS Treadmill for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really happy with it. As a busy mom with four kids, I don’t have a lot of space, so the foldable design is perfect for me. After my run, I just fold it up and store it in the corner of my garge.
The treadmill is well-built and has a smooth running surface. The only thing I’d change is the locking mechanism on the folding part. But overall, it’s been a great addition.

This is a great treadmill for the price. It has fairly basic functions, but it is enough for our needs. We have a family of eight, and so we use it at various levels and for various functions. Some use it for walking, some jogging, some sprinting, and some a combination of all of these. While there may be treadmills on the market with greater range of speed, this treadmill’s capacity is plenty for us. It is also easy to use and solidly built. I appreciate its minimalist appearance and neutral colors. I was compensated for this review, but my opinions are my own.

I like to walk and run on the trails around my house to keep fit. However, winter's around my house can be brutal and I hate running in the snow. This year, I decided to get the Proform Carbon TLS treadmill so I can run inside when the weather is bad outside. It has been wonderful. I have been looking forward to my cardio days again.
The treadmill arrived at my door earlier than I expected. Assembly didn't take too long and I liked how they included components of the box to assist with putting it together.
I was a little uncertain if 10 miles per hour was going to be fast enough for me. I don't regularly run that fast, but at times I like to do a burst up to 12 miles per hour. But given the price, I decided to give it a try. The speed has been great. I usually keep it around 8 miles per hour. Then, on occasion, I will bump it up to 10 miles per hour. And when I want to push myself even more, I just bump up the incline. This has given me a unique challenge that has been fun and better matches the trails that I run in my area.
Everything is so smooth on this treadmill. Moving the bed up and down is easy, the console is all straight forward, and when I make adjustments to the speed or slope, it makes those changes in a natural way.
There are parts about my outdoor trail runs that I definitely miss since I am running on this treadmill during the winter (like feeling the wind or breathing the fresh air). But it is well worth the sacrifice to not have to be out in the cold. And being able to adjust the slope easily and also turn on the fan makes it seem like I am bringing some of the great features of my trail runs indoors.
For the price, the Proform Carbon TLS treadmill can't be beat.
I received a discount on this product for writing a review.
The ProForm Carbon TLS treadmill is an exceptionally well-crafted piece of equipment, exuding durability and a sense of permanence. Its considerable weight requires assistance upon arrival, though its robust frame suggests it will stand the test of time. Assembly is straightforward, though the slight discrepancy in the labeling of screws and bolts requires a modicum of patience—hardly a hassle for those of us accustomed to precision. Once set up, the treadmill is effortlessly movable, and I particularly appreciate the inclusion of all necessary tools. The iFit app offers a delightful array of workouts, catering to all fitness levels, which proves advantageous in a household of varied interests. The maximum speed of 10 mph may seem somewhat pedestrian for the truly athletic, but for most, it provides ample challenge. In sum, the ProForm Carbon TLS is a refined choice for the discerning individual seeking both reliability and versatility in their home fitness routine.
