The tutor makes the experience great. Your website is alright but not very easy if you want to book several lessons individually, this is a slow process. Also, there are too many automatic emails and messages added to my message with my tutor.

Our son has a wonderful teacher
Our son has a wonderful teacher, she prepared for him a fully adapted program, he's improving very nicely and loves coming to the lesson 🤗
If there is something I would change, it would be the time we can stop the lessons, sometimes, because of the difference between the countries, holidays are not synchronized and its difficult to adapt.
But the quality of our teacher take the experience to very positive anyway, thank you Camille!!

Frustrating subscription model period the system took away the joy of learning
I want to share my honest experience with Preply for anyone considering joining.
On the positive side, I was very happy with my teacher. She was kind, professional, and made learning enjoyable. That part of the experience meant a lot to me, and it’s actually the reason I stayed as long as I did.
However, the subscription system is what made me stop. The 28-day automatic renewal creates pressure rather than allowing learning to feel natural and enjoyable. For someone like me, who is learning a language as a meaningful addition to life and not as an obligation, this structure felt restrictive and stressful.
I canceled my subscription because I didn’t want to be automatically charged, and unfortunately, that also meant I could no longer continue with the same teacher I genuinely appreciated. That part is disappointing, because the system ends up separating students from teachers they connect with.
I understand the idea of encouraging consistency, but learning should feel engaging and flexible, not forced. For me, that balance wasn’t there.
If you prefer a structured, subscription-based approach, Preply might work well for you. But if you’re someone who wants flexibility and a more relaxed pace, it’s something to think about before joining.

I love the brand, it is probably the best freelancing platform for online tutoring we have ever seen since Web3 began.
I have always had good experiences so far, I do have to say, the fact they take such large commissions is definitely a problem. But other than that their support team is excellent, the tools they provide are really useful and the visibility algorithm is working great so far for me.
