Our children have always loved the sports holiday camps run by Premier at their own primary school but this summer was very different. They reported that they played no games other than dodgeball; they were either inside or outside and when outside had nothing to do/no activities were planned. They complained of having to clear up after lunchtime once everyone else had gone home (we paid for extra time until 4pm each day). They also reported that those who were on free school meals (not our children) were separated from the others and it was very much a ‘them and us’ environment which they didn’t like. My son felt as though he was moaned at all day one day for one thing he did wrong (which he apologised for and which was dealt with in the morning but kept on being raised). I also struggled to find an option to pay with tax free childcare account and ended up having to pay normally which meant I didn’t get the tax benefit. I’m afraid, having had Premier as a failsafe option for school holiday club, this is no longer the case and our children won’t be attending again. Such a shame especially when our children have always been so positive about it in the past.

Aug 2026 -i used premier educatuon last year (2025) and chose them again. I sent my 3 kids aged 9, 6 & 5 for 2 days a week for 3 weeks. They enjoyed it and i had no complaints from them when asked if they liked it. There's a range of activities for them to do and what i particularly liked this year was that it wasn't cancelled due to the extreme hot weather we were having. As 2 working parents that was great. I would use them again definitely.

Our boys really enjoyed their days with premier education, after a rocky start for my nervous youngest (whom the staff were great with). Only reason not 5 stars was they didn't use the safety password system as their email said they would. This made me a bit nervous for the unthinkable of someone else taking my child, especially when we had other family members doing pick up.

The kids enjoyed it, however I was told I hadn’t booked but they were looking at the wrong list, it was rectified but most people waiting was listening so a bit embarrassing and also waiting to eat their packed lunch with age groups.

This was the second time we took our son to fee sessions with Premier Education. He is autistic, but usually well functioning between other kids. He had a lot of benefit from the holiday club, a lot of progress and we was very happy to go there! Also we had good feedback from the club with no issues caused! Thank you so much! I really appreciate, as he really needs socialising and learning through playing with a warm approach!

Breakfast club! Why is the price so high now? It was £2.50 a day which was affordable for a few days but now it’s £5 and £1.25 booking fee, are you having a laugh? Absolutely disgusting price! £125 for a month if one child attended everyday! Just dreadful for parents now. I won’t be using unless desperate! How are parents supposed to work when having to pay this! Not happy!

Ideal for us during ths holidays as they go to Grove anyway.

Son loved his time at the holiday club, he often spoke about how nice/ kind the coaches were. He was always welcomed into the club with a happy and cheerful hello. Very happy boy = very happy mum! He is already looking forward to the next half term’s club

Staff were great, activities were great, my child absolutely loved it. However no access to doorbell, needing to ring a number for a person in a different place who would then contact the staff members. With them being busy with the kids having fun and not looking at their phone this left me waiting for my child for over 30 minutes outside (not the staff on sites fault I’m happy their attention was on the activities and not their phone)
If this was rectified in the future with a doorbell then 5 stars.

My children were excited to attend the club as they’ve enjoyed Premier Sports activities at their school and rate them and the staff highly. When we arrived for our golden ticket day, the boys were really happy with the programme of activities for the day, which we were told included dodgeball, cricket and football. Sadly, they didn’t do any of them except for playing football at break time with their friends. They then spent the afternoon colouring in with blunt pencils while the coaches made squishies. The children would have preferred to have played sports or make squishies and felt the staff had way more fun than they did. My youngest son fell over as he was leaving and hurt his hands and he said that one coach just told him to get up. He was quite upset as he’s only 6-years-old. They both said they’d have preferred to have stayed at home. This is such a shame as the club had promised so much and the staff member on the door was engaging and welcoming. I had hoped to have found a summer club for the future, but we won’t be booking again.

The team at St Mary’s are great - well organised and fun for the kids of all ages. The booking system is what lets it down, as it never lets me book siblings on the same booking so I don’t get the discount, and therefore end up with two bills
