Prairie Nursery advertised a fall sale that I took part in. They advertised showing pictures of full, lush green plants. What I received was a tray of either half dormant or half dead plants.

I complained but was brushed off quickly as not knowing what I was talking about by both the customer service and the company president.

I was assured these plants were completely healthy and would be just fine, but I already have dead plants only 8 days later.

They said I complained about "cosmetic imperfections" but of course they are completely misrepresenting what I said when I complained.

The company president even admitted

" I can completely understand your feelings regarding what appears to be a misrepresentation of the plants’ quality.  Smacks of bait and switch, and no one likes that."

and

" Yeah, they look like a bunch of dead sticks"

Good luck if you choose to deal with these people.

Plants are small, often rootbound, arrive too late for safe planting, and don't survive. The people are nice enough but the whole system is setup for failure.
