Horrible management!

Horrible management at post office on Shardlow Road, Derby so far! For example, they are in partnership with Evri and they've got very clear blue signs saying: "Send - RECEIVE - Return" or "send - collect - return"!
But, if your name is not English they refuse any parcel on your name, they don't accept it. Discrimination!
I've never seen any condition (subscription, membership etc) to have the right to receive a parcel there.
Nasty management!

Lost again!

Post office got my parcel lost or delayed again?
At 8:58, April 10, 2026, I handed over my parcel to be sent to London, by second class, but up to now still not arrive yet! Years ago, Post office got my keys lost which incurred a big penalty to my friends, and we got nothing to compensate. Happened again?

I had returned goods back in February a lot of things they was a gentleman they that served me i no what he looks like he refused to give me receipt and said they don’t for Amazon I said this the first he said they never do well now the goods haven’t gone back I been charged I will take this further this man should not be working in the industry he lied to me plus I lost money I been charged again for it if you need information about the person happy to help if needed

I am still waiting over 1 month for my…

Due to Lambeth council that were supposed to send out my documents I was left waiting over 1 month for my certificate that was purchased from the Council. Paid £9.00 to have delivered to my address…
There’s no tracking number available and no one to talk to about why it’s taking so long. This certificate is needed urgently and postage service is not acceptable.

Dereham post office

Enjoyed going to the post office at Dereham Norfolk today, as we have no post office in Thetford. Very helpful assistant who helped my mother out filling in forms ect, her name was Wendy, the other lady serving was called Hayley, as she was very helpful & cheerful too.
I wish everyone in every shop was as helpful as them two girls, keep it up, was like a breath of fresh air today.

AVOID

AVOID. Do not trust your money to these clowns. I opened an account online and my money I transferred didn’t appear in the account! I called “customer services “ they were worse than useless. Emailed the CEO Neil Brocklehurst, two weeks so far no reply.
Nobody is interested in helping you.
PLEASE do not go anywhere near this organisation you will regret it.

They are getting worse by the week. This time parcel left on doorstep for all to see. When they can be bothered to use the letterbox it sounds like artemis II has arrived, or package is crammed through or left hanging out of the letterbox. What service???????? A total disgrace......

post office review

I regularly visit this post office and always have a positive experience. The customer service is consistently excellent — the team are friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with.

In particular, Abs and Raye stand out. They’re always polite, approachable, and take the time to make sure everything is handled properly. It makes a real difference knowing you’ll be dealt with efficiently and with respect every time you come in.

Definitely a reliable and welcoming place to go.

Guisborough (Westgate) Post Office Staff

Having used Guisborough Post Office for many years I can say that the staff at the said counters are a credit to the service. They are always very helpful, pleasant and well informed. The atmosphere is one of friendly efficiency and professionalism.
I have a number of friends who travel to the Guisborough Westgate branch because of unhelpful or rude staff at their own local post office.
Well done to Guisborough Westgate and keep smiling.

My previous experience with Hornsey…

My previous experience with Hornsey post office has always been pleasant. However, on the 10th of April 2026, my opinion about their customer service changed.

Firstly, the postmaster could not find my parcel and claimed my package had not been delivered to the post office. Although I had shown him proof that it had been delivered, the postmaster was very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.

The older postmaster is professional and friendly, but the younger postmaster is rude and unprofessional.

Secondly, the service I received was below average. There was no justification for this level of bad customer service.
I will not be using the Hornsey office again.

Furthermore, I have to stress that the older postmaster is always polite, friendly, and helpful. However, the younger postmaster is unprofessional, rude, unhelpful, and lacks customer service skills, which is ironic given that you're in a profession that serves the community.

I had a really disappointing experience rude staff!

I had a really disappointing experience at this Post Office. I went in to send a parcel through Vinted, which had already been paid for and had the measurements submitted correctly.

Despite this, the staff refused to accept the parcel and told me I needed to pay more. One member of staff even said, “you pay me more and we can scan your parcel,” and then laughed, which was completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

This made no sense, as everything had already been processed through Vinted. Even a Royal Mail driver who was there at the time confirmed the parcel size was acceptable and said he could take it, but the staff still refused.

They were rude, dismissive, and made the whole situation uncomfortable. I understand rules need to be followed, but this was handled in a very poor way.

Customers deserve to be treated with respect and given clear, accurate information this was not the case here.
