Stay clear away from this company who are thieves, and that is an understatement!!!!!!! I purchased a carry-on by Ted Baker the maker that Port Mantos was selling on Amazon and I sent it back in the box in the plastic never taken out the box at the UPS store and receive a receipt and video of me in the UPS store bringing it back and Port Mantos keeps saying they never received the luggage when in fact they should have because I did everything right I have videos footage of everything in the UPS store and I sent them everything they asked for and they still refuse and it was almost $600. They stole from me there’s nothing but thieves and that’s why Amazon doesn’t even deal with them anymore just recently Amazon dropped them because their thieves!!!!! I’m telling you right now they should be in jail as a company for thievery just look at all the reviews on them and you will see problems with tracking numbers that they do it on purpose no doubt about that because that’s all you see is the problems with the tracking numbers too stay away from them my best advice now I’m out $600 because of these idiots disgusting pieces of you know what !!!!!!!

I purchased a TravelPro suitcase from Amazon. I didn't realize that the order was shipped by Amazon Prime, however the seller was Portmantos. The suitcase was delivered to me, but I did not even open the box. I changed my mind and wanted to get a bigger suitcase. I submitted a return request and Portmantos customer service sent me a message that they'd charge $25 for return shipping. I'm writing this to warn others... when you buy from Amazon, make sure Amazon is the actual seller and do NOT buy from Portmantos.

I’m extremely disappointed with Portmantos and their misleading return policy. Nowhere in their policy does it state that you will not receive a full refund, regardless of whether the product has been used or not. I did not use the Travelpro suitcase. I took it out of the box, took it to my bedroom, started to pack my clothes in it, and realized that it was much smaller than my current suitcase. Took my clothes out, and put it back in the shipping box . Only after initiating a return on Amazon did I find out that they withhold part of your payment, which feels intentionally deceptive.

A return policy should be transparent and upfront—Portmantos’ is anything but. Had I known I wouldn’t be refunded the full amount, I never would have purchased from them in the first place. This experience has completely eroded my trust, and I won’t be buying from Portmantos again.

If you’re considering ordering from them, be cautious and assume you won’t get your full money back even if the item is in perfect condition.

I ordered Travel Pro luggage on Amazon from Portmantos. There was no disclosure that returns were different than normal Amazon returns. The luggage arrived and we used one time. The handle malfunctioned -- basically would only come up half way when packed. I contacted Amazon and told them I did not have the box, plastic wrap or original packaging. I was told to send back to Portmantos and it would be refunded. Unfortunately when they received the product they credited back $.01 so Amazon didn't automatically refund. Now, I must pay to have them ship it back and contact the manufacturer.

Absolutely THE WORST company I’ve ever dealt with. There’s no way there’s so many positive reviews here. Most likely paid reviews.

First, they don’t know how to ship items and they will arrive damaged.

Second, when you return an item due to their carelessness, they’ll lie and say they never got it EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE PROOF OF DELIVERY.

This was my first time using Portmantos. Not only was the initial price good, they had a welcome offer to sweeten the pot. They fulfilled my order in a few days. Kim in customer service was wonderful helping with tracking my order as I needed it in a hurry. When I encountered an issue with the product I received, Kim made available several options while working with the manufacturer. Kim was wonderful to work with and I am fully satisfied with my purchase from start to finish. I highly recommend shopping with Portmantos. I will recommend them to my friends and family and when I am in the market again I know where to go.

I ordered a Travel pro Shadow Black Platinum Elite 21” spinner from Portmantos through Amazon at 279$. They sent a Travel pro Max lite 5, cost about 140. I went to return and reorder and now the same case is 445$. I called Amazon to do an exchange with no luck. I did order two and still waiting on the second. Hopefully that one is correct. If Portmantos is a good company they will send a second with the same price….Not holding my breath :(
