Originally ordered 2/21/2019.
I email Portabl (and whatever they were called prior) every couple months asking where my product is. For (I believe) the last 3 years I've been told just two more months until we ship products. I've literally been using the same email thread for every single contact with them. It's absurd how many similar (possibly identical) replies I've received from them from my bimonthly check-ins. They changed names and killed their old website without even notifying me (or possibly anyone else). I had to find out about the name change from a forum like this where everyone is accusing them (possibly rightly) of being complete frauds.
A company that has issues filling half a decade of past due orders SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTING MONEY FOR MORE ORDERS!
I feel their integrity is severely lacking on that one point alone... even if you ignore the rest.

My experience is not dissimilar to the other reviewers/buyers who have all been deceived into purchasing and paying for a product that is not delivered, followed by umpteen promises of delivery delays and refunds. It is time that a class action suit is initiated by all the disgruntled/impoverished customers to get their money back, based on the blatant misrepresentation of the company.

If I could give zero stars, I would, I see I’m not alone in receiving neither my order nor my refund. This company is full of apologies for failures in its systems, but does nothing to rectify them. I am amazed at how often I see their advertisements on Instagram and my comments that I leave there(asking when I’ll see my refund) taken down. Not addressed. How can anybody trust a company that is so messy in its practices? Apologies are cheap and freely given but that’s not what I want. I want my refund? I’ve put in the application form and I’ve contacted them on a weekly basis I always get an apology. I have not received my money. How can this company continue to operate under such circumstances?
As you can see below the CEO of the company does not seem to have read the review. I no longer trust the company and I want my money back. I have no trust until that happens.

I don't want to give it a 1 star review. We ordered in 2019, and we still have not received our portabl. Shipping address is the same. We emailed back n forth with a man named Archie. Stating the same bull crap that is being copied and pasted. Seen portabl recently advertising it on tiktok. Of course I commented. That post was no longer and deleted. This is a complete scam and don't bother pasting your bullcrap. No product ! No refund! Thieves and trash..Prosecute!

FRAUD!!!!!!!
It looks like I'm not the only one who discovered the hard way that this company is a fraud.
I originally reserved my unit during the kickstarter over 4 years ago. After waiting well over 2 years, they finally claimed to have release the units for shipping, but not the unit I ordered. No worries, I was so excited until I found out the 17" unit was actually a 15" unit designed for 17" laptops.... NOT what I was expecting.
Here's the fraud... I requested my refund about a year and a half ago. I ALWAYS get a reasonably quick response from customer service, BUT.... That response is always been (6 or 7 times now over the last 1.5 years), "... your request for refund is still pending...."
So, you can claim to be "... a small company without the manpower....", but 1.5 years is NOT a legitimate company that is a little behind. 4 years waiting for a product and 1.5 Years waiting for a refund is FRAUD

THIS COMPANY ARE CROOKS. they have lied to me for 6 months. always a new story. Somehow their billing dept can't process a refund for 4 months. They delay you until the bank won't let you file a claim so they can steal your money.

I bought this product on the 21 November 2021 for €548 including shipping. I got every excuse in the book as to why it hadnt arrived; covid, manufacturing delays, semi conductors blah blah blah. I requested a refund and again.. excuses...backlogs blah blah blah.
This company is fraudulent. They continue to take peoples money with no intention of ever fulfilling any orders or returning any refunds. Something really needs to be done to see that these people are prosecuted, sued and imprisoned. I live in Australia but what is the local authority to report fraud in Belgium.
Please.. stay tuned because the idiot CEO Larent will now auto reply with a cut and pasted comment filled with fake apologies and excuses that honestly just make you want to knock him out. If he doesn't... see the rest of the comment section.

If I could give them a negative star, I would. I ordered a slide on June 29, 2022, paid $740 CDN, and to date, September 21, 2023 I have STILL have not received the product or a refund!!
I have been in contact with Support, Email and VAT regarding shipping and a refund and every time I get the same answer...we're waiting for product and you'll be in the next batch to be sent out so you should receive it in 4-6 weeks OR accounting is backed up with refunds and they'll get to it asap!
Either this is the worst company to exist or it's a complete scam!!!
IF YOU CAN'T SUPPLY THE PRODUCT, THEN DON'T TAKE PEOPLE'S MONEY!!!!
