I found this company after submitting a request through Local Heroes.
I needed the emergency lighting and smoke alarms checked to can get a certificate for the new compulsory HMO licence that came into effect from 01 Oct.
Jamie attended and was very polite and on time. He did a thorough job and explained what was happening all the way through. I found that Polarity Electrics was also very reasonable in price compared to British Gas. I will need some other works doing and will definitely ask them to quote for the work.
Egineer was approximately 1 hour late
Egineer was approximately 1 hour late. Didnt have the correct tools for the job and left after 10min. Thats was my experience with Polarity
Electrical inspection.
Electrician turned up as expected.
He carried out the electrical tests efficiently and gave me an overview of the results.
I have yet to receive the full report and quote of any remedial work that they recommend.

No further light shed on the issue than we'd been able to work out for ourselves beforehand. So it's hard to rate work done on fixing the problem when the problem remained the same as before the electrician came. He was two hours late but friendly when he did arrive. Three star average rating as no work done.
Good survey but no report yet.
The man who turned up to do the survey was on time, efficient, friendly and informative. I've taken one star off because I'm still waiting for the written report which is taking longer than I expected and now holding me up.
I wont use Polarity ever again
Electrician arrived half an hour late with no apology even mentioned. I was charged for time which he spent talking to his employers on the phone.

Landlord Electrical Check
Work was an electrical check on a rented property, easy communication via e-mail and good price. I did not attend the property for their visit my tenant did and reported they arrived on-time and confirmed orally everything was OK.
Invoiced for a job not done
Polarity initially made an appointment and very quickly changed this to a later date as they were too busy. When the guy came to fit lights outside he couldn’t do the job as there was additional work to do on the cabling. I was promised a revised quote and didn’t get one and then I received an invoice from local hero’s where I had initially found Polarity for work which wasn’t completed. Not happy
Happy customer
Polarity Electrics were the only business who contacted me following my online enquiry to multiple people (impressed me despite them not being the cheapest). They made the process easy and stress free. Definitely recommend!!
very good
very good - did thorough check and explained works to be carried out and professional. Thanks.
