Wonderful Experience with Please connec me app

Moving into my new flat in Edinburgh felt overwhelming at first, but Please Connect Me made the entire process smooth and stress-free. From the moment I signed up, the app guided me through everything I needed to settle in comfortably.

They helped me:

-Find the best and most affordable internet service provider

-Settle my council tax account with Edinburgh Council quickly and easily

-Discover reliable and budget-friendly service providers for utilities

-Choose the right insurance options without hassle

I didn’t have to spend hours researching or making endless phone calls. Everything was streamlined, and I felt completely supported throughout. Because of this app, I was able to relax and enjoy my new home without the usual stress that comes with moving.

What Joy speaking to Joy

It was such a Joy speaking to Joy. As I told her, this was the most efficient call I had in my entire life. In 20 minutes she figured out my Council Tax, Water, Gas, Electricity, Internet and Insurance. It would have taken me an entire week to set this up. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I really appreciate the support and guidance I’ve received from my advisor. The communication has been clear and helpful. If there is one suggestion I could make, it would be to have more frequent updates or check-ins to ensure everything is on track. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and look forward to continued support.

Are all these positive reviews fake?! - They sound professional, but don't get anything done

The "Please Connect Me" person was super professional on the first call and quick to respond to follow up emails to make sure they get their referrals for electricity/gas and WiFi - but the other "free" things don't get done. I was told that they would sign me up for council tax and water as part of their service ... Well, no confirmation for over a month. Eventually, I decided to not rely on that promise anymore and just signed up online myself for council tax and water (and got confirmations very quickly!). - Now I just regret giving them 'referral' credit for bringing me to Octopus Energy etc. Should have given that to a friend or neighbour!

(Honestly, I was annoyed enough to sign up for Trustpilot now and write this as my first review...)

Though we are pleased to know our team was responsive and did a great job over the call, we're sorry the rest of our service did not meet your expectations, particularly with council tax and water setup.

Unfortunately, the registration process can take up to 4-6 weeks to process and wait times can vary depending on which council and suppliers you are with. That said, we understand this is frustrating and will work on managing expectations better in the future.

Excellent Experience. Recommended

Ask for Dontez or Owen

Please connect me has acted as a middle man between my husband and I and a company called Homebox. We have had many issues with homebox and have now canceled our account with them, but the support and quick responses we have received from Owen Steven’s and Dontez James-wright I must say its second to none, consistently throughout the past year. It’s a shame they are acting on behalf of such a terribly run company. Dontez support has prevented us from leaving on many occasions and Owen was introduced to us near the end of our account, still able to help and support even after we’ve closed it.
