Vehicle purchased 2 years ago with approx 35,000 miles on the clock.
The coolant was not topped up.
The 1st MOT failed as the mechanic said a fan was not working properly, and the engine was on the verge of blowing up. This cost £800 to repair.
The car broke down two weeks ago on the first day of a holiday in Cornwall.
We called pine lodge, who asked to be informed of the issue once know. This turned out to be the dual mass flywheel.
We asked for options regarding potentially towing the vehicle home, and also a valuation for them potentially taking the car back.
Despite being assured of options being available, and that they would assist us where possible, and specifically being told they would send details of a tow company, we have not received any call back or further contact.
We have now fully resolved this ourselves, and would not recommend pine lodge at all due to their sheer lack of after care.
Instead of guarded comments about options, and leaving us without contact, a simple no would have sufficed if they were not in a position to help.
At the time of writing, the vehicle has done around 55,000 miles.

Wow, what great customer service! Felt cared for as a customer from the first contact right up to when we collected the car. Nothing was too much, Nick and Tom had great communication. Vehicle was picked up with a new service, full 12 months MOT and valet. 100% recommend, First class 👌

From the extremely quick and easy process of going through checks via the website (really efficient proces btw) , to the speedy process of having a test drive and the complimentary car wash before the purchase with tax was completed, this was the best experience buying a car I've ever had. Nick assisted us through the process despite the very busy morning. He made himself available for queries and gave us every bit of info we needed. The cars have been really well taken care of, I was well informed, given as much time as possible to decide, supported through the entire process and haven't ever been so happy to leave a review. Faultless service, shame that I can't give more than 5/5.

Bought a car from this company on finance car started going wrong after 4 months it was the lambda sensor was ignored as they didn't want to deal with it because it was gone past 30 days they couldn't provide any paper work to verify the work they said they had done car has since got worse and I have an ongoing dispute with the finance company and car is not fit for purpose have the ombudsman involved have been ignored by this company and blocked on email and phone DO NOT BUY FROM THEM they mislead people

I had the best car buying experience at Pine Lodge. After loosing faith in cars and dealerships I came to Pine Lodge following a family recommendation. I test drove a couple of cars and nothing was too much trouble. I worked with Nick to find my dream car and safe to say I had a year driving me new dream car away. We purchased a car for our 26 year old son. When it was delivered there was a faulty electrical boot lock. We contacted Josh. He had the car picked up and returned to us with a new lock fitted. He also offered a curtsey car , which was appreciated but we never accepted. I would highly recommend this garage and definitely use again.

I must say our car sale experience with pinelodge has been amazing, from the moment we walked through the door we were looked after by josh, he was such a friendly salesman, that made us feel at ease and certainly was not pushing sales on to us which was nice! They leave you to view the car alone and offer test drives out. Josh was very paitent with me after many, many questions I had to ask and nothing was too much mither,, the day we picked the car up went nice and smooth, nothing was too much to ask and I feel we were looked after well. We can all buy cars but you know you have bought from a top company when you have a problem sorted. Can’t fault Nick, Tom and the rest of the team at Pine Lodge. Great communication and problem solvers, keep up the great work.

I have just sold my car on auto trader to Pine Lodge Cars. I dealt with Mal and from the first call till they drove the car away it was a very professional smooth service. I would highly recommend this company and they will be the first company I ring when selling any future Cars.

I've just sold a car to these people, a pleasure to deal with Malcom on the phone, talking, like human beings used to. Did what he said, paid a small deposit which helped to alleviate the 'Will they turn up' feeling. Had a call this morning from the driver, as arranged, driver arrived, made sure I had the money in my account beofre making any attempt to leave.
