Thank you so much Mike for your ‘user friendly’ photography course. I’ve followed you for a number of years and watched your very helpful videos but never really understood how my camera can work for me and with so many buttons and functions, well!!! So I bit the bullet and bought your 4 week course which I have just finished, and wow! How much I have learned in 4 weeks, helpful, friendly videos which helped me make sense of my camera, I wish I had done this sooner, but now I have. I’m planning a few day trips now to really practice my newly found skills and am looking forward to making many new and brilliant photographs. Thank you so much for making this accessible and helping me find a new confidence in my camera.

Mike's Masterclass was an excellent course. It taught both the fundamental lesson of what to do and also tackled the practical issues that need to be addressed.

What a fantastic weekend workshop in Zurich with Mike and a great bunch of photographers. I've been pushed way out of my comfort zone, there were some real light bulb moments for me and I have some great photos to prove it. Thank you Mike, I look forward to another workshop soon.

I just completed "Photo Alchemy." Alchemy helped with both creativity and motivation. It was a great follow-up to "A Masterclass in Photography." I felt the histogram was explained better, in Alchemy, than I have experienced before. Both classes were very beneficial.

Well, it's done, and very enlightening it was too. The way Mike walks you through the Photography Masterclass is so natural and down to earth, and yet inspiring and exciting at the same time. Photography is a way to express ourselves in a way that no artificially generated picture could ever do, do not be fooled by the hype round A.I - YOU Take the pictures, you are the brain behind it (Mike drills this in). Now I know I can express myself without worrying too much about the technical aspect. AWESOME course, Mike, and well worth the money.

I would consider myself an enthusiast, so not a beginner, nor a pro. This course is for anyone who loves photography and wants to learn more. Mike does an outstanding job in this course with teaching the basics, and also new ways of thinking, which i really got allot out of. Highly recommend this course to ANY photographer!

Having looked at numerous Youtube videos, I found nothing but confusion and contradiction. So I bit the bullet and bought Mike's course and was it worthwhile. Most definitely Yes! I highly recommend this course if you really want to progress with your photography and take control of your camera rather than let your camera control you. I will now be recommending this course to my Grand Daughter who is taking up photography at school. (No doubt I'll have to buy it for her.) 🤣🤣

Clear explanation of the technicalities of photography and camera settings. Practical examples to help embed the learning.

I am just finishing Mike's Master class, what a brilliant course. Mike's way of teaching , getting information over to you, explaining and demonstrating is the best educational experience I have had in all my years of learning. Down to earth no fuss teaching . You come away not just feeling you have learned something but feeling you know and now understand can't recommend him highly enough.
Going to put all this into practice over next few months and then will buy his next course seven steps.

Ive just completed the Masterclass in photography online course and thought it was excellent. Very well laid out, Mike makes it easy to understand what I thought was going to be all to complicated for me to learn. I do enjoy taking photos and had a Panasonic bridge camera which i left in auto mode permanently and my mum recently gave me her old Nikon which again I was determined to set to auto mode. I'm now using it in manual, swapping and changing lenses, experimenting with filters etc and im chuffed to bits with my progress. I would highly recommend this course.

This man is an amazing teacher and very passionate about teaching his students to be the best that they can be!!! He explains things in a way that is incredibly easy to understand!!! I have took the master class, I will be taking other classes of his!!

I have bought a number of Mike's online courses and have attended a couple of his workshops and for me there is no one better out there who explains photography in a language that we can all understand. No technical nonsense just a plain common sense approach to help you get the best out of your camera whatever you shoot with.

I was lucky enough to win this course via Mikes Facebook page. It is a first class course. Mikes style of teaching makes the whole experience very interesting indeed. The videos are just the right length to keep the student interested, making the learning process a whole lot more enjoyable. There are exercises to complete throughout the course, giving you the right balance between theory and practical work. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about photography, or even expand on your current skills. I know it has made a lot of what I thought I knew, a whole lot clearer. I have watched a lot of Youtube videos, over the years, where people "teach" you how to take photographs. The difference with Mike Browne, is that he teaches you how to be a Photographer. I have just finished Mike Browne's Masterclass. I have always enjoyed Mike's youtube videos, and his down to earth approach is what attracted me to his online courses. This course did not disappoint. Awesome content - delivered in short, easy to digest, videos. The curriculum is nicely paced. Would absolutely recommend this course. Now, I need to get on one of Mike's one-to-one workshops so I can meet the great man in person. Thanks Mike.

What attracted me to this course was Mike's down to earth and realistic & simple approach to learning photography.

The whole course is purly learning the art of Photography and very little on you need this bit of equipment...........

I'm class myself as an intermediate photographer, but wanted to go back to the basics to shore up my foundation knowledge and help me improve, this course have provided me this and much, much more.

Would highly recomment this course to anyone at any level.

Why on earth is this guy writing a report on a workshop that took place already back in November 2022?
Here’s my story:
We’re not taking pictures; we’re following the light. This sentence stuck in my head all the time while on Mike Browne’s Lanzarote photo workshop. It encouraged me to adjust the setting of the camera manually to get the picture I had in mind and not just following the “advice” of the built-in light meter.
Checking the histogram and actively setting the aperture, time and ISO manually despite the light meters warning. The transformation in the quality of my pictures were stunning and I am happy to report that taking pictures in the Manual mode has been working back home every since my return from Lanzarote in November 2022.
Before buying new gear I strongly recommend to enroll in one of the many workshops he is offering. Remember Mikes words: People take pictures not cameras.

I can't speak highly enough about the masterclass on Udemy that I did over the Festive Break. After years of 'self learning' (not very well) I could see from Mike's preview that he has so much passion for photography that he could teach new things until the cows come home and it would be impossible not to learn a ton! The course affirmed what I had learned myself but also blew my mind with other stuff I had no idea about, like focal length - I am actually planning a trip to Avebury (luckily not too far from me!) to test it out!! There are also a million handy tips and tricks alongside the basic info and assurances that you don't need a fancy pants expensive camera to get started. Absolutely fascinating. I'm enjoying putting all my new and confirmed knowledge to the test, and will probably sign up for more in the future.

Masterclass In Photography....This is a brilliant and very informative photography course and has helped me enormously, especially with the exposure triangle and focal length. Mikes videos explain everything in a clear and easy to understand way by showing you exactly what is going on in the camera whilst out on location and indoors. It has certainly answered all my questions, given me inspiration and I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. Highly recommended!

Mike's course is great, he projects the subject in a friendly and light-hearted manner, at the same time, he gets over the important principles of photography. I have found his course to be of benefit in vastly improving my composure and use of light.
