STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
I would give zero stars if I could. Purchased an Aston Martin Rapide in early October 2023, within a week the vehicle started to vibrate aggressively whilst braking, I returned to the dealership and told them the front/rear discs and pads were worn out heavily and dealership tried to brush it under the carpet saying its the ABS and brakes were fine when this was not the case. I took the vehicle to Aston Martin Dealer in London and they have provided a VHC and came across hidden faults that were present at the time of sale but wasn't disclosed such as engine oil leak, corrosion on gearbox cooler pipe & exhaust heat shields, lied about recent service with Aston Martin dealership, last service record was from December 2020. Sold us a faulty vehicle and not fit for purpose. I bet the dealer will respond to this review with their usual boring message ‘blah blah blah’ but I can say I have been communicating with the dealer but they have been ignoring me most of the time and don’t want to accept any liability. Trust me! Stay away from them, better go elsewhere. I’ve uploaded pictures of some of the faults found by Aston Martin Dealership.

We gave you all opportunity to show our highly trained technicians what problems you were experiencing however you decided not to utilise this option. We also agreed to numerous parts we would pay for replacing once we had received diagnostics reports from you, however we did not receive anything to this effect. We are a fully accredited, highly rated car dealership with many years of experience. It is unfortunate that you decided to work against us rather than with us, as we would have more than likely come to a resolution by now.

Fantastic!
Purchared a E63 from these guys, Maj had the car ready within a couple of hours to collect on the same day. Ran into some minor issues with the car but pheonix got me straight in the next day and sorted the issues with the coolant tank no questions asked using genuine parts from merc and all done within a few hours. Cannot have asked for a better experience from offering to deliver the car to extending my Warrenty and providing free 12 months breakdown cover. Will be purchasing all my motors from these guys going forward!

Blown away experience
After a good 4hour journey to the showroom our only wishes were to grab our new shiny set of car keys and make our way home soonest. 2 hours later we left the showroom with huge grins and not realising the time we spent with Maj and the team! I was blown away with how welcome and comfortable I was made to feel throughout! nothing but smiles, laughter, great atmosphere and a couple of surprises along the way. Maj went out his way to making me feel special and came out for a test drive to answer any question I had, I didn’t have to ask many as he was answering them before I could ask….Difficult to sum this one up in a few words but I won’t be forgetting the day I picked up such an amazing car from such an amazing organisation, anytime soon. Trustworthy, honest and high standard
You can truly trust Phoenix RC Auto to look after you. I bought a car from Luke at Phoenix, it was fully paid and we had a delivery date set. Luke phoned me to let me know that upon the thorough and final checks, some issues had been uncovered. He insisted a full refund on the basis he wasn’t willing to sell me a car that would cause me concern or issues, nor taint my experience of getting a new car. While obviously we were both gutted, I can’t praise them enough for their honesty and the way they prioritise their customers. Luke was on the case to source me a new car by the next day. Throughout the process Luke was responsive and answered any questions I had, he even got a live video made for me the very same evening I phoned to enquire. (They hadn’t yet filmed one). The service and reliability is second to none, you can buy a high standard vehicle with every peace of mind and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you once again for being exceptional

After getting a reply from Phoenix RC automotive via Trustpilot, I decided to do a follow-up.
Yes, I have had the car for two years, but when I first sent you a letter I had only owned the car for 16 months and If you bother to read up on or contact trading standards for the sale of Goods act/consumer rights act you would realise that anything you sell has to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit the purpose, And, regardless as to how long you say you’re Warranty is, your 3 month warranty is pathetic as according to trading standards, regardless of what Warranty you offer, a legal Warranty would depend on how much money is spent, and at nearly £18,000 trading standard say the warranty should be a minimum of 18 months to 2 years, and as my complaint was well within the 18 months, you are legally bound to uphold my claim which you completely ignored. Also keep in mind I had only driven 3'925 in that time period.
You also say you returned my letters, that’s a lie as I haven’t seen any return letter. My phone number has not changed in the last 10 years so you obviously didn’t try to call.
I’ve read your other reviews and not all your buyers all happy with the purchase.
So I stand by my original complaint and my original review.
I advise everyone not to buy from you and I advise you to give a legal Warranty out in future, and if you’re unsure what that should be, speak to trading standards, as I did.

As a dealership we provide 3 months warranty as part of our service, please note that some independent dealerships do not provide a warranty at all, some for 3 months, some for 6 months, and some including main dealers on used vehicles for 12 months. For 30 days after expiration of the warranty if there is an underlying issue or an ongoing repetitive fault then we can uphold a maximum of 6 months liability under Trading Standards.
The warranty was not an illegal warranty as you have worded, at the point we provided the warranty, it was administered by WMS who are the administrators for VW group, and provided by AA who are a reputable, renowned and accredited company and are one of the UK’s leading warranty providers.
Despite the amount of mileage covered in the time of your ownership, any dealership would require an investigation as to the causation/cause of the fault which could be due to neglect, wear and tear, or just a failure.
We can go back and forth with each other in regards to who said what, but we have evidence of the letter we sent to you, being opened and then returned back to sender. Just to reiterate and to respond to the accusation that we have lied about any written correspondence, we have evidence and proof from Royal Mail, that a special delivery was issued on the 18th April 2023, and the special delivery was stamped and referenced by Royal mail. We currently have the letter and the original envelope in the office if you require a scan or photos to satisfy any disputes.
You are under the impression that for every £1000 spent, you should get 1 months warranty, there is no dealership in the United Kingdom under English law or consumer rights that will uphold this.
In regards to your telephone number, we initially tried to contact you when the first letter was received but we were unable to reach you on a couple of occasions. After 7th June 2021 there is no record of you contacting us through our WhatsApp service which as you will know is our most used communication method.

In regards to this section of your review, the car was clearly fit for purpose and up to a satisfactory quality, as you checked the vehicle over at the point of handover, and used the vehicle for 16 months with no issues, reiterating that as a dealership under the stated laws and legislations we are only eligible for a maximum of 6 months post sale.
In regards to your reflection on our complaints, every company receives negative reviews throughout their time of trading. This is down to numerous factors and unique to each and every scenario and customer. As a company, on occasion things may not go to plan and that could be down to human error, or unforeseen circumstances, however every single one of our 1 star reviews have been rectified between us and the customers. This left no bad rapport and has even lead to customers coming back to buy from us again, as they have everything explained to them and all information provided comes from a highly experienced sales and support team.
We welcome any assessments or challenges from Trading Standards as we have no doubt that we have met the requirements of the sale of goods act, consumer rights act and trading standards criteria.
