Everything about Permanence has been seamless, comfortable and successful. I am perhaps 2/3rds of my way through the overall procedure but am seeing a HUGE difference and am feeling so much more confident. For those who cannot get past the dislike of their body hair, I could not recommend Permanence more- after years of shaving/ shaving rash/ plucking/ waxing/ shame and embarrassment I am so close to leaving those worries behind me. The staff are beautiful and friendly along with the Sydney location being discreet and clean.

Hair removal
I have a twenty minute treatment every six months or so . I have some sporadic hairs that require removal. Tiffany is competent kind and efficient and the treatment is totally effective.

Staff were great!!!!
Staff were great. They guided me on every session as to what is the level of progress and how the treatment was tracking.They were also very helpful to answer any questions I had. I am a Diabetic patient and knowing this, they have accommodated my need and carried out the treatment accordingly.

Super service
Great service, very professional and informative and am very happy I started down this path two years ago as it is working! While it is a slow and expensive process I would recommend it to friends as the results show it’s permanent so it’s worth it!

It was like an episode of black mirror. In the phone consultation with the company manager said I'd be looking at over 10 sessions, this was quite misleading as after my $500+ session of torture from a cold faced Nurse Ratchet she informed me that I was looking at at least 100 sessions for my face alone. The attendant barely spoke English and I was never advised before hand that I should have purchased and applied Lidocain ointment first. Painful, rude and excessively priced, no wonder they re-branded their companies name.

I was sad to read your recent feedback about your electrolysis treatment at Permanence. And I am grateful that you took the time to express your feedback.
At Permanence we always strive to minimise treatment discomfort for each and every one of our clients. We know that clients can react quite differently to electrolysis treatment in terms of pain experience and tolerance, and I am sorry to hear that your experience was at the more intense end of the pain spectrum.
I recall initially speaking with you about our service and possible cost. To reiterate, people with a moderate cover of hair growth on their face and neck, usually will require in excess of 30 hours of treatment, and this will be more or less depending on the hair density. So around 100 1-hour sessions would not be an unusual requirement to be completely hair free around the lips, chin and neck for someone with more hair density.
For clients who experience significant pain at their first treatment (which our experience shows is fewer than 10% of clients) we will then let them know of options (which we cannot directly administer nor promote) that are available to reduce their pain sensitivity ahead of future treatment appointments should they wish to pursue them. With hindsight, perhaps that may have been the better approach to take.
I am a little confused over your mention of the name change, so would like to note that Permanence’s name has NOT changed in over 30 years.
Again, I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the service your received from us, as my employees are committed to acting professionally and respectfully and aim to give their clients the best experience they can. I have raised your criticisms with the Clinician who treated you to be mindful of for the future. She also expresses her regret that you didn’t have a more pleasing experience.
