Easy application and process

So grateful for understanding the issue I have being in furlough due to government shutdown, and that I can pay the card bill next month on December 2025.

My experience with PenFed was customer friendly. Customer service is critical to me, and I received excellent customer service. The presentative listened attentively and we were able to satisfy the reason for the call. This is just one of the successful transactions I've had with PenFed.

I called with a problem and received great customer service

The PenFed Representative was very helpful and attentive. Listened to my problem and together we resolved my account issue. Got it done quickly. Very professional .

Did not notify me they had decrease my credit limit a few days ago. Penfed reduced my credit limit without notifying me. As a result, an automatic payment from this account to an outside creditor was returned. This caused the payment to be late and resulted in a fee to me. Really shocked at how Incredibly sneaky and irresponsible. I called and there was not explanation for not having notified my at the time of the decision. Complete dismissive and just read some jargon that did not excused their negligence to notify me in a timely manner.

Penfed has the best customer service in the banking industry by far.

PenFed Credit Union is one of the best financial institutions I have ever dealt with. The telephone representative was very knowledgeable regarding products and interest rates.

This company is all wrong. Pen Fed Credit Union is awful. They offered and approved me for a credit card with great credit and also a Veteran and they gave me the runaround. I am so mad because this has happened to me three times over three years. I wouldn’t be so mad about it, but it cost me credit score points and hard inquiries. If you only knew the whole story, you would really understand why I am so angry. I have closed all my accounts that I quit using some time ago. Navy Federal Credit is an excellent choice.

I highly recommend veterans avoid this organization at all costs.

Your employees are courteous and professional

I have three loan application notations on my home page that are weeks overdue in being removed. I did not accept any of these loan proposals. After patiently waiting for the loan notations to disappear, and I was previously told that they would disappear in ten (10) workdays, I called yesterday and they still appear on my homepage of my Pentagon Federal Credit Union account. Why? This should have been corrected immediately. I do not understand this poor service after 25 years of membership with the Pentagon Federal Credit Union.

Tessie at the call center in Nebraska, so full of positive energy, extremely knowledgeable. She was a real treat to talk to, and she helped me in a short amount of time. She’s definitely a valuable employee….
