Just spent the most amazing 14 days cycling up the country with my husband and a really lovely group of people.
The route is very picturesque, the brew stops are plenty and they cater for a wide variety of dietary requests.
The guide was very knowledgeable and Darren very positive and helpful if you needed anything.
If you are an average cyclist you can make this. The encouragement and team spirit is immense and the day is broken down into manageable distances before a refuel.
The hotel and facilities where very comfortable.
The views goes keep on coming

I signed up for the trip last September and received regular emails updating me during this year. A WhatsApp group was set up to allow the riders to get to know each other and during the trip was used to communicate daily information about the food stops/ distances.
There were several options to get the bikes to/ from the start and finish which was very helpful. The hotels were great and accomodating and the food generally good.
The guides Ade and Les were excellent- so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the route and areas we cycled through. No problem was too small or difficult for them to solve! The brew stops offered a great range of food which was tailored to the dietary needs of the group.
Can't recommend the company enough- will almost certainly be doing another trip with them in the future.

Signed up to do LEJOG in March 2023 and was immediately sold on Pedal Britain because of their informative website.

Then the emails flowed in with a few months and weeks to go with every bit of information you could possible ask for. No stone is left unturned in making sure you have what you need and you know what you are in for.

The Pedal Britain team of Ade and Les were the foundation of a fantastic journey. the guys dragged me through some rough days and their expertise and knowledge, not just of cycling, but of the local areas you are travelling through. This made it a special trip, you knew you were in safe hands and felt like all you had to do was get on the bike each morning and you would be looked after.

The days were so well structured and organised with brew stops, lunches and evening meals. You really didnt have to think about anything other than getting on the bike and "will i have dessert tonight or not".

Can't recommend the team enough and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Ade and Les as your UK tour guides.

LEJOG MAY 2024
This Epic Bike Challenge stretched me to my limits but I was ultimately successful because of a number of essential factors:
1. The initial informative and honest conversation with the owner Darren Ball supported by the detailed, easy to follow literature
2. The setting up of a WhatsApp group which allowed the group to get to know one another and share information prior to the event
3. The actual organisation and structure of the daily itinerary by our 2 Guides Ade and Les. They were outstanding and totally committed to supporting each individual and the whole group. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was handled with both experience, expertise and humour 😂
4. The accommodation and food were, in general, of a very high standard.
I could go into more detail but hope that my comments show that Pedal Britain is a company that is committed to the highest standards and provides an excellent experience for its customers.

Never done anything like this before. You have to put the training in and it's not for the faint hearted! Pedal Britain organized this so we'll. If you're thinking of doing LEJOG then do it with this company. Absolutely fabulous!

What an unbelievable experience couldn't have asked for anything more from the pedal britan team ( even in the rain at a brew stop, they kept the spirits high, with some music & hot coffee ) there was any amount of food , the day to day organisation went like clock work well done Jamie & Paul , I would highly recommend pedal britan team

Fantastic organisation. Trip was supported by a ride leader and a support vehicle which ensured the utmost safety for all clients. Brew stops are now legendary with a full variety of foods and drinks. Accommodation was in a very comfortable hotel central to restaurants for evening meals. Superb ride routes through great areas of the Yorkshire Dales. Customer service and safety is top of Pedal Britain's agenda.

I just completed a 3 day Tour of Yorkshire, and the experience matched or even exceeded my expectations (having done a Lejog tour last year). The level of organisation and attention to detail is impressive and consistent. We had a challenging experience on the Dales when the rain and cold wind made conditions treacherous. The leaders dealt with the situation calmly and competently, providing support to those of us who were suffering, but continuing to lead the ride enthusiastically for those who were able and willing. Beyond the sense of competence and leadership was also a great feeling of camaraderie and good humour. I will certainly be booking for another tour in the future.

Well organised. Routes sent out. Scenic, undulating rides, with the the odd beastly hill.
Crew who cheered, encouraged, sang whilst we slogged up those climbs. The crew tracked us. Our safety paramount, ie if fir whatever reason you can not finish, they get you back to the hotel. The brew stops well stocked. Requests for any diety or what you fancy was got in.....pork pies and mustard!!!!!
Beautiful scenic rides, with a guide whose has a wealth of knowledge. The crew great banter, and fun, which rapidly caught on through the group.
This relaxed people. This is my 2nd tour, and everyone has got on famously.we have booked 2 more.

Pedal Britain is simply the best! I’ve done two 14 day rides (LEJOG & FEE) and both were trips of a lifetime. Make no mistake the rides were hard but the planning and support made each day so enjoyable. The food and lodging top shelf and the routes brilliant. But what I liked the best…. the people I rode with. A love of cycling was the glue that held us all together and PB understands exactly what is needed to make it all happen …. best riding experiences ever. 5 stars all around!

This was my third Pedal Britain cycling holiday, having done LEJOG in 2021 and also the first Yorkshire Dales long weekend earlier in 2023.
My wife also came along on her first long cycling holiday, and I was re-united with 8 friends from the 2021 LEJOG who formed part of the "peloton" of 20 cyclists.
We were lucky with the weather, no rain, sunshine most days but only really hot on two afternoons. The journey has been beautifully curated and we were rarely on busy roads. The hotels were good as were our rooms.
Darren and his team do know how to organise these trips very well and we were well fed and watered through each day of cycling. The scenery was stunning and although there were some long climbs these were invariably followed by long descents which one could enjoy to the full.
The van support was very good too, and we had "Mick the Mechanic" on hard to help sort any little niggles out.
Nothing to fault, if you are thinking of doing the French trip then do it, its great, though you may need to book two years ahead.
If you are just reading to check up on whether you will go with Pedal Britain as opposed to other, similar, tour companies then I can recommend Pedal Britain unreservedly. Darren just gets the little details spot on.

Truly awesome trip. My second tour with Pedal Britain.From start to finish the Pedal Britain team have everything covered. Professional top quality service. Hotels are great quality providing lovely food. Pedal Britain brew stop/picnics cater for everyones dietry needs with great food and always in a lovely spot.Well organised distance breaks. Plenty of time to stop rest and take photos. If you are a strong fast rider or a slow steady photo taker, no one gets left behind. Will definitely book another tour with them.

My second tour with Pedal Britain after LEJOG in September 2021. Their mantra is that they take care of everything so you can just get on your bike and ride and that's exactly what happens. Great communications before the trip answering any questions you may have; bike collection and delivery service taking away the stress of getting your bike there and back; superb routes taking in the major sites whilst avoiding major roads; excellent hotels and meals; great on the road support through the brew van and helpers and superb camaraderie with your fellow riders (who will become friends for life). France End to End is harder than LEJOG in terms of climbing (especially if you do Mont Ventoux) but a huge step up in terms of route quality and sites you will see. Any touring cyclist (with a bit of focused hill training) would be able to complete this. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering this (or any of their other trips).

A truly epic cycle route and an unforgettable experience. Perfect roads from start to finish with incredible scenery day after day. Hard to believe it could be done better than with Pedal Britain. Lovely hotels, 5 star picnic/brew stops every 20 miles or so!
If you like France this is an absolute must.

An absolute fabulous experience from start to finish. Great organisation in every way, bike drop off, bike collection, hotel check in, bags where you want them when you need them.

A great team on the ground with you (Peter, Jude and Ian) always encouraging with great sense of humours always with a smile on their faces.
This is our 2nd cycle tour/holiday with Pedal Britain and I’m sure it will not be our last.

I have just completed the September LEJOG with Pedal Britain.

They were excellent.

They provide a totally supported ride with safe road stops away from main highways. Plenty of provisions at each stop even going so far as to buy items riders asked for. Ian Greasby and Jude Johnston were always thoughtful, supportive, smiling and welcoming. We were very well catered for several times each day.

Each ride was supported by a ride leader (Peter Lawson) with the strength to work his way back and forward through the rides to ensure everyone was either motivated, encouraged and/or supported where necessary through each and every ride.

Clear maps, daily instructions and recommendations for bike and personal safety and what to expect each day.

Pedal Britain surpassed my personal expectations and certainly seemed better organised than other groups we passed along the route.

All of the accommodation organised was fine to very good and all were clean, friendly and clearly used to cyclists (some permitting bikes in rooms).

Communications were clear and we never felt rushed even during the booking process.

I would thoroughly recommend Pedal Britain. Darren Ball the owner has created a well oiled machine from a user perspective. No doubt there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to be able to deliver such a first class riding experience.

All we had to do was ride! Everything else was catered for by the PB team.

The Pedal Britain cycle ride from Lands End to John O’Groats was fantastic and I would highly recommend them. On the road our support team Peter Jude and Ian was faultless. Hats off to them all.

An incredible week cycling Scotland’s NC500. Tough climbs, thrilling descents, amazing scenery and inspirational company. All kept together by the highly competent and capable hands of Mick and Ade. An unforgettable experience. Can’t wait to the next one. Thanks guys.

Bucket list tick and best 'yes' yet, LEJOG with Pedal Britain.
The organization and communication throughout were seamless and our guides Peter and Mick made sure we all had a great experience and lots of belly laughs.
I had a problem with my bike and they had a spare, and when my new part arrived Mick was on hand to assist me getting back on my bike.
Thank you all involved for one of the best and memorable trips I have ever done.
I will most definitely use Pedal Britain again.

Just completed LEJOG August 2023 and have to say it was an awesome experience. Tough start in Cornwall and Devon but regular brew stops and great lunch stops meant nothing was insurmountable.
Once you’ve experienced the level of planning, organisation and attention to detail these guys put in you will be back for more. I certainly will, once my legs have had a rest!!
