4 stars because of the of the process for conversion--it's awkward that you have to upload a document again into the conversion tool when you have already opened it in reader.

I can do all sorts of cool things with PDFElement. What I mostly do is
* add text, such as citations on downloaded papers
* remove and add pages
* combine PDFs
* highlight text in different colors
* add comments

Some of these things you can do in Adobe Acrobat Reader, but not all of them, and PDFElement is quite easy to use.

Not a bad software. I bought it to edit pdfs. It gets the job done. It has a fairly user friendly interface. It's nice that it's cheaper than Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Nice alternative to Adobe. Good pricing, and regular updates.

The best alternative to Adobe Acrobat. it does it all. The Intuitive interface help me to find every feature I need to give my PDF a magic touch.

PDFelement works very well and is a fine replacement for the much more expensive Adobe program.

You can accomplish pretty much any pdf task you need to. I personally combine and split many pdf documents, PDFe makes this simple and easy.

I have only 2 criticisms:
it loads fairly slowly;
there's no option for additional language families like right to left alphabets and other non Western systems. In Adobe you can get that capability if you pay for it.

I am a curriculum developer for CyberSecurity. Often times students like to see articles included in powerpoints. Using Snagit, i'm able to crop what I want with ease capturing the most important parts of the article.

Using it with labs is great as well. Snagit comes with various tools to help me outline demonstrations for cheatsheets. I can also use this to create videos to send to our students. It's quick easy to use, and I highly recommend!

PDFelement makes editing PDFs so easy. I'm a Realtor and I honestly don't know how I managed before I got PDFelement to edit my documents. It's made my turnaround time that much faster which has been a huge improvement in my business.

I've used iSkysoft many times over a six-year period. The software is relatively easy to use and works for me. I recommend iSkysoft.

I am not Adobe product fan. Therefore I look for any option how to avoid their products. Have been using the previous version because of the OCR and tools the app offered. But for regular viewinng I used PDF Expert by Raddle. Purchased PDFelement for a diccount price (thanks). It is very powerfull tool. It does what I need. Damn simple, sleek AND reliable. Have a bit difficulties with the interface and controls. But I use it again as a tool for special tasks, for regular viewing and annotations I still use PDF Expert as I found their app more intuitive - could be perhaps because the do not to try to reinvent user interface that much.
In any case I can live without Adobe Acrobat, that makes me happy.
