I cannot fault this rescue. Had rescue dogs all my life, (PPTF for my second most recent Rommie). They take time to answer questions, were thorough with homecheck, interview and excellent advice and information about settling your new arrival, what to expect and how to help them adjust from their journey I was confident their dogs are well cared for, prepared for transport and updates on their journey.
Post-adoption, my homechecker and point of contact volunteer both checked in to see how we were doing. I followed their advice to the letter and have the most gorgeous 1 year old who is loving, gentle and bright! 2.5 months after her arrival and she has fitted in to our household better than we could ever have dreamed!
Our resident older Rommie didn't immediately welcome her, but with slow, sensible introductions and plenty of walks together they are bonding in a very positive way and love their games of chase on the beach!
We would thoroughly reccommend Pawprints to Freedom and would not hesitate to adopt from them in the future. Thank you PPTF for giving us our amazing companion Fizzy (was Lara). We are very happy!

Absolutely wonderful charity! We adopted a precious boy (Rupert) from them and we’re so happy! Staff were great and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. Ash was our assigned contact and he checked in with us regularly, long after the adoption took place and helped us whenever we needed him. Couldn’t praise this charity enough and we’ll certainly be looking to adopt with them again in the future!
Had a fantastic 5*experience with Pawprints to Freedom and all it's wonderful staff🐕🐕
Came across these guys on Facebook, excellent communication from start to finish very professional
Adopted the most beautiful furbaby from Pawprints , the transition recieving the dog to the after care and anything I wanted in the middle was second to none ,I felt safe and supported by numerous people from the company in particular Ashley he's been with me every step of the way he's a credit to the company ,if anyone is interested in adoption or even just have questions use these guys they are so on the ball🐕🐾🐾
Donated to this charity on facebook and because of one comment they didn’t like after I had misread something and dared to tell the woman how rude she is they blocked me! I explained that I am dyslexic and misunderstood the comment only for one of the workers to tell me I should read things properly and not spread misinformation. I would give the scam artists 0 stars if I could. No need for rudeness

We adopted a Romanian rescue at the end of last year and it couldn’t have been a better experience. It was a long process but the more rigorous it was the more we knew they cared.
We were mainly in contact with an incredibly helpful man named Ash who guided us through the whole process and answered every question and concern we have. He has continued to keep in touch and clearly cares about each individual animal. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We recently adopted a 1 year old dog from Pawprints and after having her 6 weeks wanted to write a review.
The charity and people who have supported us through the process are amazing! We have always felt we could come to our contact, Ash, at the charity as well as reaching out to others on the fb messaging group thats step up when your dog arrives.
It is such an amazing experience watching our dog grow in confidence, knowing we have given her a better life. I would throughly recommend adopting through Pawprints, they do a fantastic job!

PPTF have been fabulous from my first enquiry until now when 3 months in to adopting, I’m still getting support if needed.
I did foster -> adopt and can’t fault the advice and care I received as a new mum of a rescue puppy. Especially as I live alone, having someone to talk to was so appreciated.
Everyone in the charity is super kind and helpful and only want what’s best for each dog.
I feel blessed to have Rhubarb in my life ☺️

The volunteers, from care takers, admin, drivers and home checking staff are all wonderful. We were treated with kindess and respect. They work tirelessly to find appropriate homes for the dogs they care for. We welcomed our wonderful Ruby almost 3 weeks ago, we were armed with loads of information and we felt and still feel so very well supported. This is the place to get your furbaby and give a deserving floor their forever home

This rescue and the people that run it are absolutely wonderful, they do an amazing thankless job working some days 20 hours out of 24 making a difference between life and death for some poor dogs .
Iv been fostering Eva for nearly 6 weeks and had daily communication if needed , for any help or advice needed .They work so hard with you to make sure the dogs and you are all safe and well .
I’m so grateful and I know Eva would be if she understood the dedication this team has given her to save her life and many others.

friendly, helpful staff, go out of their way to make sure these dogs are homed, loved and looked after. I started as a fosterer but fell in love with Katie so ended up adopting her. The process was easy and guidance was given every step of the way.

PPTF have been exceptional helping us getting our first puppy! We applied as first time dog owners and our admin Tegan has been incredibly supportive and helpful from the start. Tegan made sure we had as much information as possible and answered any and all questions regardless of the time of day. We can’t thank you enough for helping us rescue Atlas, I would urge anyone thinking of rescuing a dog/ puppy to check out PPTF, they really are the best

This is a fantastic rescue charity and we are so grateful to them for trusting us with our little Luna. Street pups take a little understanding and patience but PPTF give great support. Knowing what to expect helped us to avoid making mistakes, or expecting too much of her too quickly. She's settled in beautifully and it is so helpful to have them on hand to advise. Thank you!

Sadly, I can only reiterate the experience I’ve had which unfortunately fall into the same comments about misinformation and poor communication that it seems so many others have also experienced.
Again, my application not at my request, was fast tracked at their request. Rushing around recording videos and taking images and filling application forms to then have a home assessment done by a fantastic guy to be fair, absolutely seem to know his stuff.
However, after it being fast tracked, I was then told that the dog I’d originally showing an interest in was in fact not suitable. My situation hadn’t changed. It was just that they had failed to check if the dog was suitable in the first place. I was then asked to look at what other dogs they had available and let them know if any of them caught my eye.
In the meantime I was given a list of things that I had to do in order for my Home to be suitable and these were urgent and I then had to take images to send back so they could confirm these requests had been actioned which again I did.
I made them aware of another dog and again a conversation with the current foster carers who are part of the organisation was arranged. Seemed to be quite a perfect match, I initially sent over images and videos to highlight the type of life the dog would have if it was placed with myself, which initially was to be fostered with a view to then having the dog adopted by myself.
During the process, I was told that all dogs are transported to your home. Part of this is because of course they want to ensure that the Home that you’ve sent pictures of the home but that Dog will live which makes perfect sense, only that’s not true. It transpires that you’re then asked how far you can travel to collect the dog and I’ll then give a long list of things that you will need to purchase in order to then transport the Dog from whatever the location back to your home address. Only that list that you signed to say you will have is also something that they then tell you isn’t necessary. So again, you start to ask why it exists in the first place.
I’d agreed to travel 2 1/2 hours And was then asked if I could travel to a completely different location which was a longer journey but more convenient for them. Previously I had offered to pay the entire costs for the dog to be transported if that cost could then be taken off the adoption fee. I never received a response.
At 10 pm the night before being due to collect the dog I received a message to say that the current person looking after the dog where it is based now has car problems and cannot make the journey. Interesting this person who had my details didn’t bother to contact me directly. They’d also not responded to previous messages which is not just rude and unprofessional, but it does make you sceptical about the sincerity of at 10 pm only just discovering they had a mechanical fault with their car.
At this stage I then advised that as it’s clear there is a problem with transportation that it would be best for me to be considered for dogs that were in a closer location. And a week later still hadn’t heard a single thing from them just a staggering waste of everyone’s time and as a charity a disgusting waste of their money that is donated by people who want to help dogs and are not wanting to pay for a chaotic unorganised calamity of a service that shouldn’t be necessary.

Have now adopted two dogs from the charity.
Amazing beautiful people that are selfless in their work and support of all these animals needing help and new lives.
The backup and post adoption help is also very good.
Amazing bunch of people, so committed to the animals they have in their care - nothing was too much trouble for them in helping us secure an elderly dog for my father in law, and the match was perfect!!! Thank you all so much x
Simply a wonderful company. Pawprints are the second rescue charity I’ve used and were by far and away a superior experience. Once I had decided to rescue a second time they put me in touch with a UK mentor (the fabulous Ashley) who helped me find the right dog. This was based on a detailed questionnaire I filled in. He liaised with the kennels in Romania. Ashley really listened to what I was looking for and didn’t judge if I said ‘perhaps not the right dog for me’. When I had chosen I received a home check via WhatsApp with a lovely lady who after our meeting made some gentle suggestions about what the house needed to ease ‘Bohdi’ into his new surroundings. They sent lots of useful information about what to expect and potential behaviour issues that might occur. They remain in touch to this day and are always there to help if any problems occur. I cannot praise this company highly enough. Some might feel that home checks and the information is intrusive. ITS NOT! It is essential!! If you are reading this and you thinking of getting a Romanian rescue it is the most rewarding thing but you must engage with the process. The work they do is amazing! They found me the perfect dog! Thank you Pawprints!! ❤️
