Dealing with Pathos was a pleasure. I did a great deal of research and choose their 'pay on performance' model. The initial agreement was for 3 articles. The first Article was worth the entire contrac... See more

100% TOTAL SCAM!!
After a couple of online meetings that only wasted time, I decided to have nothing further to do with them. However, as a result of a mistake in judgement on my part, Pathos had my credit card information and charged me $1,250, allegedly for my "failing to co-operate". Fortunately, my credit card company recognized the fraud and reversed the charge.
Consistent with the advice of others: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PATHOS COMMUNICATIONS!!
Total fraud
Total fraud. Stay away from them.
They make you believe you get publications in prestigious journals. But all they do is to write a couple of pages about you or your business and then place it ias a commercial in places Yahoo Finance. They charge you $2,000 for something that you get from other websites from India for $200. I told them I have figured out their fraudulent and they still had the nerve to charge my credit card.
Clearly some kind of weird scam.
Clearly some kind of weird scam.
They sent me an unsolicited email claiming to have viewed my website and asking if they could help promote "my podcast." Problems:
1. They addressed the email to "Dear William." Two seconds on my website would have told them that my name isn't William, that not only does no-one named William work at my company, but it's an ALL-FEMALE company.
2. The "podcast" was a corporate audio project that a company paid me to do, and the terms of our contract are that they own the exclusive rights to the audio content I created for them. It's not online at all.
Deceitful sales tactics
Deceitful sales tactics!
They will try to trick you into signing a contract, making it seem that they just want to verify who you are, but within all this fast-talking, you are signing a $15,000 contract. Beware. I am currently in litigation with this and will follow up with updates.
A total AND COMPLETE SCAM!
A total AND COMPLETE SCAM!! I was unfortunately naive enough to fall for it and loose 15K. I can't even believe it is possible. They wrote articles that were then published on a BROADCAST. It is total total BS. DO NOT fall for this!!!!!!!!!!!
If I could give them a zero I would
If I could give them a zero I would. They say they have connections but just send out generic press releases. Not worth your money in the slightest. Total scam.
Their owner is rude as well and unprofessional.
RIP off they promise one thing and…
RIP off they promise one thing and deliver another. Very disappointed in the service and false promises
Run Away
Pathos promises to provide PR only if you get published, proclaiming you'll have articles published about you and your products on reputable websites such as USA Today. What really happens is that they push an article via Newswire to get picked up by an aggregator for Yahoo Finance (which has nothing to do with what my PR needs are). It's a complete waste of money and time. You've been warned.
Do not pay this company
Absolutely not what they say they do. They got some articles published on my business and was supposed to be great exposure and seo value. NOT TRUE. The articles were buried deep on terrible sites and now the links are showing up as toxic in my SEO management softwares. Do not waist your money I am so disappointed. Plus they charge my card in 10 transactions which is really shady.
Complete scam
Complete scam - stay away. The concept of "pay only if we get you published" is a great concept. Only problem is the only site they are ever thinking of publishing you on is Yahoo Finance which I found out later I could do on my own for very little, not $5k! The article written was so generic it was pitiful but I didn't have the time to push back and rewrite it all myself. Trust your gut and run when they call you!
Total spammers
