Some one from this organization made…
Some one from this organization made direct phone-call to my smart-phone and they promised me "Moon form the Sky" and not send me an invoice without any result like Ads to Financial Times, CNN, TV Interviews, etc. for one man company from Finland. I was nice on first touch for them and now I read all these warring about the Scam. I am poor and their contact person was first nice but in online-meeting she was little bit nervous and talked irritating way to me. Yes I signed an agreement now and they recorded it with Zoom for evidence purposes. I don't fear them and report about crime. I had 0 € on bank account and tried to charge from it 1 €. Phone-call came from New Your, USA. I have only Debit Card so it's not work if in my back account haves less than amount what they tries to charge. Now I do not believe them thanks Trustpilot Reviews, and not going to streets to collect empty bottles to get that 1 € for my back account by recycling the bootless. I can but their email accounts to AI-based spam/scam filter programmed by my self alone.
Repeat email spammer
Repeat email spammer, but so bad at it that their messages all get caught by the standard spam filters.
Their latest spam email reads, in part: "The PR firm I run has opportunities to be featured in Bloomberg TV and Forbes."
Contrary to the "I run" statement, the email is signed by a "media researcher", not the owner(s).
And the sentence literally means that the PR firm has the opportunity to be featured in Bloomberg TV and Forbes, not their clients...
And did I mention that they are spamming?
Avoid avoid avoid
Avoid avoid avoid! Handing in a document to sign to commit to pay $5,000 for a publication on first call, real scam, pushy little agency that up for quick grabs.
Senders of unsolicted spam emails
Senders of unsolicted spam emails
Another company that whinges to Trust pilot and asks for the review to be removed.
Stop sending unsolicited spam emails and you won’t get bad reviews. It’s very simple.
Illegally charged card
Illegally charged card, admitted by email they did. What a bunch of scumbags.
Avoid this PR 'results' scam.
This company offers to only charge you when your article, which they craft, goes live. They suggest news outlets like Business Insider, Forbes, CNN, but in reality the puff piece they wrote for us, got published in the middle of nowwhere and then they act like it got picked up on the wire and you get a bill for $6,000 immediately charged to your card. AVOID THIS FIRM, it's a scam business wasting yout time and taking your money.
Scam. Run. Not serious. Juse PR distribution...
Scam! Not a professional PR company! Just let somebody write avergage level PR articles and distribute them via services like that: "newsfilecorp"
Such / similar service costs 50 - 250 USD on average and distributure amongs many media channels.
However, these guys are fast regarding chasing the money and act quickly regarding their services, as they dont want to give their clients to think and analyse what is going on.
After being ripped off by a few PR…
After being ripped off by a few PR firms, I highly valued Pathos model. They are really about partnering with their clients and it shows. Really happy with the initial results and decided to retain them long term.
Dealing with Pathos was a pleasure
Dealing with Pathos was a pleasure. I did a great deal of research and choose their 'pay on performance' model. The initial agreement was for 3 articles. The first Article was worth the entire contract, but they continued to deliver. The service was exactly as advertised. I will be renewing our relationship and look forward much more success.
I was also stupid enough to trust them
I ordered one article for 5000, it was published but no one read or see it. There were no more users visiting any of our home pages, there were no more clients, nothing. Just don't order anything from them. If I'd spend the same amount of money for google ads, the money would be back already. But with them, we haven't got ANY revenue.
Liars, cheats, and scammers
Liars, cheats, and scammers - After one meeting with them, they told me that I wouldn't have to pay for anything unless I agreed to the media placements they had for me. I changed my mind on working with them after seeing terrible reviews and looking at their work product, before they did any work for me, and before I had any chance to even agree to their communications strategy. I emailed them, telling them that I wouldn't be moving forward. A week later, they charged my credit card $2,500. They have not refunded me.
AND - the thing they promise you is worthless. You can get paid to do that kind of writing by just offering submissions. What a joke.
Sends out spam to customers of an ISP…
Sends out spam to customers of an ISP wanting them to sign up for marketing of the ISP's website. How dumb is that?
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS - STOLE $1000 from me and I filed a Police Report and they are in HOT WATER.
They have removed content on their Website. Omar Hamdi is a con man and his pimps are the sales bait and sweet talkers. Michelle Richards and Richard Phan are master manipulators. I am going after them until they are hauled off to prison.
PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS FOR THIS "PR" COMPANY
**** UPDATE SINCE ORIGINAL POST BELOW ***
MY BANK HAVE NOW REFUNDED ALL MONEY TO ME AND VISA ARE INVESTIGATING PATHOS COMMUNICATIONS ALONG WITH OTHER CRIME / FRAUD AGENCIES I BELIEVE. PLEASE READ ALL THE BELOW REVIEWS AND MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP. NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN.
Wow wow wow, I am not going to go into the full details as of yet but what an experience with this "PR" company.. Lots of back and forth with my bank in the last week but one thing I would say is, please please please, shop about for your PR and be careful who you trust and who YOU DONT TRUST. I will amend this review once the legal side of things has been dealt with. Again, be careful who you TRUST. Business is all about relationship building, trust, credibility, honesty and some businesses unfortunately have ABSOLUTELY NONE. Lots of interesting reviews below, please READ THEM CAREFULLY and make up your own mind.
Complete and total scam everyone on…
Complete and total scam everyone on here was correct. They don't stop even when you catch them, it's truly unreal.
Three ads for $15,000 here's how they get you and how this was ignored.
They don't take your credit card but it's through a third party, they say we don't charge you until your ad is APPROVED AND UP,
that's the sneaky scam, after I didn't hear back for a week it kicked in as the reviews were exactly what they did to me. So I said don't post anything I'm done and I won't pay, they scramble to get everything done and slap it on a garbage website that doesn't even come up as a top 10 publication in the country I'm in
Then they offered to do the posting for a 1,000 instead..THEN AFTER SAYING NO THEY BILLED MY CARD A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOUR TIMES, of course they say that in the fine print giving the card on the third party allow them to bill my card.
I've been conned before but there is nothing more.impressive how sneaky and cunning their scam is.
Total Scam
Total Scam! Once I read the article they wrote and realized I'd been scammed, I told them I didn't want the article published and didn't want to work with them. They hounded me for months until I blocked their domain. Then 7 months later, I got a $1500 charge on my credit card! Total fraud! Stay away!!! Very manipulative tactics. I agree with the person who said, if I could give them a zero I would.
They are fraud!!!!!!
They are fraud. They will try to force you to sign an agreement on the call with hefty quote.
STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT SHARE ANY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AT ANY COST!
Run away - scam
Run away! Stay away - they ask you to "reply all" to emails because the sender is a bogus person/email that continues to get blocked for spam and they want you to reply to shane@ pathospublicrelations.net
They continue to email offering a service I can get on upwork or fiverr for $150.
Run!
