ParkLet was launched in 2004 to offer an alternative to traditional parking. Parking had, and continues to, become ever more expensive and more difficult to find. Congestion and traffic is on the increase, whilst the government actively discourages the provision of parking spaces to try and encourage people out of their cars and onto crumbling public transport. The founder members had noticed unused private parking spaces in areas where parking was in high demand. ParkLet was created to offer an effective marketplace and management service for the letting of these parking spaces and garages. Over the years the team has grown, and our systems evolved to enable us to become the UK’s leading agent for parking spaces and garages. We currently have in excess of 20,000 spaces advertised to let, across the whole of the UK. Our Landlords include residential clients with a single space, as well as most of the national car park companies and councils, and most things in between. Our aim moving forwards is to remain completely focused on contract parking and garages, and continue to invest in our systems and staff so that we can offer our customers an ever improving experience.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the…

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the thrill of paying for a parking space you can’t actually use, ParkLet is the service for you!

The booking process was seamless – I had a confirmation, a space, and high hopes. Fast-forward to my arrival in central London, perfectly on time, only to discover… someone else had beaten me to my paid-for space. How thoughtful of them!

Naturally, I thought, “Perhaps I’ve made a mistake?” But no – double-checked, triple-checked. I was in the right place; someone else just fancied my spot.

I rang ParkLet, who cheerfully told me to send in a photo of the offending car while they contacted the space owner. Fifteen minutes later, nothing. I called again – the space owner was now uncontactable. Translation: I’m stranded in central London with nowhere to park, and my ‘booking’ is more like a ticket to the world’s most frustrating scavenger hunt.

Thankfully, Q-Park just around the corner were able to help me out immediately – and at pretty much the same price – which makes you wonder why I bothered with ParkLet in the first place.

So, if you’re looking for a guaranteed space, perhaps consider… literally any other option. If, however, you enjoy stress, wasted time, and the adrenaline rush of a parking lottery, ParkLet has you covered.

These people are simply crooks

These people are simply crooks
After taking order for parking they took an admin charge of 35.5 plus vat then 25% plus vat
They make more money than the car owner
They then want 5 (FIVE) weeks to pay you
AVID THESE CROOKS

Book at your peril with Parklet

Please note that Parklet DONT publish actual reviews on their website regarding parking spaces that they let out through their website but just mention that a certain number of reviewers have left a rating( with no information provided regarding the content of those reviews, thus depriving future customers of any true experiences of parking spaces booked through their website.

For example I was asked to leave a review for 326 Barlow Moor Road, Manchester, M21 3AY. But this was never published on PARKLET website and still continues to be the case, thus I am providing below my review of this parking space below (326 Barlow Moor road, Manchester M21 3AY ) for any future bookers for this space in particular.

Book at your peril! You have been warned.

"Please DO NOT BOOK THIS parking space. I had booked parking here for a week and the instructions given were to park in the middle bay.
Unfortunately, on arrival another car was already parked in that space and the other 2 bays had wheel clamping notices on them.
Thus, I WAS NOT ABLE TO PARK at the designated car park bay. There were no contact details provided for the car park owner to resolve this issue and no way to communicate with the car park owner to resolve this issue or parklet ( and with it being Sunday, your offices are closed!)..
I had to park elsewhere at last minute and had to pay high parking charges as a result of this . Thus if you want peace of mind and a guaranteed space on arrival, look elsewhere...

I had to scramble to find another parking with added time pressure as this was supposed to be airport parking. "

To be fair to Parklet, they were quick to refund my money paid but refused to take on board the huge inconvenience caused and the additional high last minute parking charges that were incurred citing their T&Cs. Unfortunately, they let the customer down, hiding behind their T&Cs and that is not a good sign for a company operating on trust that a service will be provided once the money has been paid upfront.

SEAMLESS

SEAMLESS. Great space 10min taxi ride to airport, taxi number (01302505222) very reliable and cost £10.00. When we arrived we were met by the owner and directed to our space and given the taxi number. We saved £40 on airport parking even with the taxi ride to the airport and back.We would definitely use this space again if available. Thanks

Parklet makes letting a parking space easy

I used Parklet for several years over a number of long-term letting contracts. They make the letting process easy, deal with all the paperwork, and provide clear monthly statements. You can also get statements on their website for a specified period, e.g. for a tax return.
