Extra Charges added at the airport

The price quoted is completely inaccurate - I ended up being forced to pay an additional £34!

I had noted in the small print a vague reference to an airport charge, and assumed this referred to the Stansted Airport drop-off fee, so for that reason I drove my own car as I live close by and have a resident discount. I phoned the meet and greet company 30 minutes before arrival at the airport as instructed and was told to park in Section B of the Orange Car Park. When I got to the gate there was a barrier which did not go up, even though I had paid in advance. I phoned again to ask if I had to take a ticket and was told "Take a ticket, park in area B and wait by your car for a driver to come". I thought it was strange to have to take a ticket, but presumed the company had an arrangement with the car park owners. When I got to section B, there were only disabled places available, but one of the staff must have been watching me and seen my hesitation, because he phoned me and told me to park there, and wait by my car for a driver. I did this, and about 10 minutes later a man strolled asking me for the car park ticket and my car keys and said to allow 40 minutes for my car to be returned to me when I got back from my holiday.
However, when I got through security I saw I had several missed called on my phone from an unknown number and called it, only to be shouted at by a man claiming to be the driver, saying I had told him that I had paid the car park charge, but I hadn't. I explained that at no time had I been told I had to pay the car park charge. If I had, I wouldn't have booked with that company because it hugely increased the price. Also, if I knew about being expected to pay the charge, I would have paid it during the 10 minutes I was waiting for the driver to show up.
He kept shouting that he was only a driver and it was my problem to sort. If I did not send him the payment immediately (which had increased from £13 to £21 at this stage) that he would abandon my car in the Orange car park and I would have to collect it from there when I returned from my holiday. This experience was very upsetting. I was forced to pay this unadvised charge as this stranger had my car keys.

When we got back to the UK, I phoned the company as soon as I got off of the plane. I was told my car would take 40 minutes to arrive. We got through security and collected our bags quite quickly, so I was prepared to have a long wait for my car when we got to the Orange car park. However, it was already there, parked in an Uber parking space. I had to walk around to find the driver to get my keys back and get the second car park ticket, which cost me another £13. If I had waited inside for 40 minutes, this charge would have increased to £21.

I had had my car valeted before my holiday, but when I got my car back, it had sticky marks in the drinks holder in the main part of the car and at the passenger door, which looked like a drink had been spilled. There was also a used tissue left behind - disgusting! I have photos of this, as well as screen shots from the company that tell me to take a ticket and that do not mention anything about having to pay it, as well as screenshots of the drivers message that he will leave my car in the Orange Car park if I didn't pay him the extra £21.

This company are unprofessional and uncommunicative about the service they offer. I will definitely not use them again and would advise others to avoid them. There are plenty of other providers that offer a professional service, communicate clearly and speak politely to their customers.

Genuinely awful

(Bristol) Genuinely awful. The worst service I’ve ever experienced.
Do not use these !!!
I honestly don’t know where to start.
I’m writing this 2.5 hrs into waiting for them to collect me, I’m still got back yet. We’ve been put on hold everytime we’ve rang. I haven’t spoken to anybody who can speak English I haven’t got a clue where I’m supposed to be going.

Who knows. I may be waiting another 2.5 hours before somebody decides to speak to me rather than listen to me ask where to meet them, just to he put on hold for another 20 mins.

Be very careful, would not recommend.

Used Parking4you for meet and greet at Birmingham airport whilst holidaying for 10 days in June/July. When dropping the car off we were charged £6 which we questioned as this payment is due if you've been more than 20 minutes in the car park, we were literally 2 minutes in the car park before handing keys over leaving for departures. We are now in the process of claiming that back, but as yet no response. On return, I have now received a PCN for Overstayed authorised parking session at Pinewood Playing Fields, obviously this is where they drove our car to and left it there for the 10 days we were away. I'm now having to appeal this but will also be reporting the incident to the police.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. We were told to return to the same pickup point after our trip, but when we arrived, we were informed the pickup location had changed without any prior notice. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and we then had to wait nearly two hours for a driver to take us back to the car park. We also discovered that different couples were being contacted under three different company names, which only added to the confusion. Poor communication, poor customer service, and an unacceptable wait. I wouldn't use this company again.

Poor customer service

It took 45 minutes to deliver my car on arrival at Heathrow which apparently is in line with the T&Cs which allow 2 hours-hardly 'meet and greet'. The driver was rude and walked off without allowing me time to check for damage and the mileage. He ignored me when I asked for his name. I will not use this company again

If I could leave zero stars I would! AVOID!

If I could leave zero stars I would!
Kept us waiting over 1 hour in 35° heat with two small children, kept saying "5 minutes, 5 minutes". Upon "pick up" when we finally found the van after recognising one of the guys from drop off (extremely rude and unprofessional, no apology either), we then got into a dirty van with a cockroach in it, and no help with our bags, plus the car park is miles away! Save yourself the headache and pay the extra for a more reputable company, AVOID this one at all costs!!

Only chose 1 star as no stars was not…

Only chose 1 star as no stars was not an option. The worst meet and greet Gatwick airport parking experience we have ever had. Met them at the agreed drop of point and had to pay £8 for a ticket for the NCP car park. On landing we phoned to say we have returned so they could bring our car. On arriving at the drop of point on floor 5 of the agreed car park there were a group of distressed customers who had been waiting hours for there cars. We however didn't have to wait for ours! as it had not moved from where we parked it in the NCP carpark and it took 3 and half hours to get our keys which they for some unexplained reason left on the windscreen of someone else's car! We than had to pay £171 to get out of the car park which was half price as NCP had heard this story before. Parking 4 You's response to my complaint was quick and agreed to pay back the original booking fee which we got in a couple of days but passed the buck to their on site operator LGW for the £171 without ever answering my question who is my contract with!!.LGW never replied to multiple e mails which was not a surprise as they are a bunch of.......... fill in your own adjective. So i have arranged a little legal surprise for them. Should you book though parking 4 you ask them who the onsite operator is and are they happy with the service they offer their customers, if they say yes than they must ignore reviews!! Stephen K

park and ride Bristol

very easy communications. Delivered to airport quickly. Picked up on time on arrival back at Bristol even though flight was delayed.
Finding site not easy. A sign identifing the site on the main road would solve this issue.
Would use this site again

Beware of this company!

Booking was easy and a reasonable price. What wasn't mentioned at the time of booking was the £13.00 airport levy charge you have to pay additionally to the meet and greet staff members when you drop off and collect your car. So an extra £26.00 on top of the agreed parking charge. Also we found that the glove compartment of our car had been rifled through and a bag of £1 coins totaling around £25.00 had been taken. Admittedly in hindsight we should not have left anything of value in the car but did not expect our car to be ransacked either and the bag could only be seen if you opened the drawer. All in all, we will not be using this company again in the future.

On my departure we rang them 30 mins before arrival and then waited an additional 20 mins at the car park.
On return the very rude customer service person could not find my keys, got angry when I rang him to check he'd found them 10 mins later and did not as he agreed ring me back to confirm the car was on it's way...utterly chaotic!

Lack of information

When getting a quote for car parking at Manchester Airport there was no mention on the website of the additional £8 parking fee to be paid at drop off and collection of car. This additional charge was not mentioned until after I had completed the booking and paid . This additional £16 cost should be made clear when getting a quote

Drove our car during our holiday and incurred a huge parking fine we are now having to pay...

parking4you drove our car without permission during our holiday and incurred a substantial parking fine at Stansted Airport which is proving extremely difficult to recover from this company. No explanation of why they were using our car to drive around Stansted Airport during our holiday, having been assured it would be parked at a secure location.

On collection, they suggested over an hour waiting time. We got a taxi to their lot to avoid the wait to find our new car unlocked and with the keys inside "waiting to be collected". No security, no staff and anyone could have taken it no problem.

No explanation of why it was left this way and trying to recover the substantial parking fine they incurred driving the car without permission while we were away is proving impossible.

Unbelievably poor service. Avoid at all costs.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Took over an hour to collect us, other people had been waiting up to 3 hours! No help or apology from staff. NO EXPLANATION as to why we was left waiting. Other people began to worry and even start to think about calling the police due to staff not knowing where our cars where!

Our car was left UNLOCKED WITH KEY on the seat in an unlocked car park, no handover or paperwork required. Our phone charger was stollen from the car & a small dent towards the rear also.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Absolutely awful
