DISGUSTING DIABOLICAL DISASTER

Absolutely appalled at this company.

Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced in 30+ years.

The caravans are NOT COVID-19 SECURE, the 3 parks I tried are not following any social distancing.

The management are utterly useless, that is no exaggeration, I spoke with at least 4 managers so far regarding my concerns, not one of the interested.

I will NEVER return to a holiday park operated by Parkdean Resorts and I will be filing a chargeback with my bank for “not fit for purpose” accomodation.

Genuinely awful company to deal with and I hope their directors are proud at how badly they are operatin. They are treating customers with zero respect whatsoever just to make themselves money without a care for humanity.

Steer clear as will overcharge and not refund your money.

Unfortunately I have to agree with others on here. Parkdean is not refunding overpayments taken by them. They are impossible to reach by phone. I would not advise using them, unless you want to be ripped off and pay more for your holiday than you expected. SHEER ARROGANCE from this company, who seem to think your money is theirs. Very bad service.

I am very disappointed with Parkdean…

I am very disappointed with Parkdean Resorts.
I had a booking for three nights at their Manor Park site for my Motorhome at a total cost of £130. Expensive, but my daughter is staying in a static Caravan on the site so I went ahead.
Due to family circumstances I wanted to reduce this down to two nights. After waiting for 2hours 20 minutes to get through on the telephone as online did not give to the option to alter the length of stay I get through and I am told the cost is now £123.00 for two nights!
The reason because they can charge what they like depending on when you book.
The phone signal was bad so I agreed. Upon receiving the email confirmation of the change I had been charged £23 for the change. I was not informed of this charge. So I have paid £123 for two nights. A rip off as all the facilities are not available.
An email to the chief executive yesterday whilst waiting on line has not been acknowledged. I would not recommend using this company.
Did get a message to call a woman. Called the number given and after an hour on the phone got through to a department where no such named girl was employed. A further email to the CEO has gone unanswered.
Parkdean Resorts doesn’t seem to know about customer care.
I will never go to one of their sites again.

Parkdean resorts - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Parkdean resorts are happy to take your money but in return are not willing to provide any form of customer service.

On 3 separate occasions I spent over 2.5 hours trying to get through to their customer service only to be cut off:

On arrival at the Walton on Naze sure, the caravans were dirty and the cleaners continually lied to reception staff by saying they had cleaned the caravans. There was no one available to raise the issue with. The following morning we woke to no hot water and once again there was no one available to address the issue to.

The lack of staff wanting to resolve issues and concerns goes right through the whole organisation, from the park staff right through to the CEO whom I’ve also written to but have not received a response.

DO NOT BOOK WITH PARKDEAN. It does not provide the value for money experience it advertises.

Parkdean caravan park holiday = Park "Mean" Dean!

I am the wastedad.com And a review on here as well as my blog because I am at my wit's end fighting Parkdean holidays for a full refund due to an awful experience last year from start to Finnish on our holiday in Mullion and I do not want any other family to receive the same bad experience we did that week.

We were two weeks over there "complaint procedure" ( of 2 weeks from the end of the holiday) and they have shown us no respect for the questions we want answering whilst making several mistakes in their investigation.
I have been emailing the CEO and finally, after yet another prompting email from me I had a response from the COO Mr. Mo Shamel offing the same conclusion that they did everything right in regards to fixing the problems and are sorry for the experience we had regarding the dealing with our issue, but we still feel that they are missing the point of our complaint which is why did we find our caravan in such a state.

We are a family of 6 and a dog plus we took Grandma

Due to the size of our party, we booked a dog friendly 3 bed with a sofa bed.

Without going totally into the timeline of events here is a list of the issues.

Out of Date CO2 detectors and greasy (3 years out of date and covered in grease)
Dog mess, cigarette butts under the front door of the caravan
Intermittent smoke alarm (which the maintenance team laughed that the batteries were dead on x2 occasions)
A blown bulb in the hallway
A blown bulb, Broken blind in the bathroom
Greased up cooker regulators stopping the gas flow to the oven & hob
Old bed fixtures and fitting still in the wall at head Hight in both small bedrooms
broken coat hook leaving a sharp edge
broken wardrobe handle
out of fuel cooker lighter
missing bedding (none for the sofa bed bar the bottom sheet.)
Broken hairdryer
Broken hanger under a mattress protector
stored items in a combustible cupboard, which fell on to my mother in law
dirt and rubbish above the curtains
dirty and extremely long curtains
cutlery and plates missing (on arrival enough for 3)
No tin opener (which was given then broke, after asking twice for another one it never turned up so we bought one)
out of date terms and conditions regarding Dogs in the caravan
rusty radiators
Team member spitting on the floor in front of children

We have several pictures and have set these but still, Parkdean feels that what they did to help was acceptable.

Due to the team on-site over 3 days dealing with the issues the Customer service team feels that everything was done to make our stay good and that we have no complaint, also as we were out of their complaints period.

The COO Mr Mo Shamel has now said they are not dealing with us anymore and informed departments to look out for 3rd parties contacting them on our behalf.

We did at the beginning get an "offer of goodwill" approx. £127 off voucher for one day's loss but had a 3-month time limit but we feel that is not good enough due to the state of the van.

Look out for wastedad with the full story

Yet again tried to get served with a drink from the table service operation, absolute joke, waited 40mins for someone to take my order after setting up tab before we gave up. This is the normal service it would seem has we have had the same, every time we try to order anything.Except things are different but if you are in the hospitality business then a simple task of serving your customers a drink is not hard. We are staying at the Sandford park and if this is the service they are offering at all the parks avoid at all cost you won’t have a good time.

Parkdean caravan Saltcoats booked a…

Parkdean caravan Saltcoats booked a holiday and was sent an email with what to expect when arriving at the site. Caravan door would be open keys in the van so no need to go to reception also that it would have been deep cleaned there must have been a door recently smashed as the decking was covered in small cubes of glass and lots of it Which I had to clean as I had 4 children with me. The email also stated that everything was operating as normal including amusements and entertainment but there would special measures in place ie social distancing only to find out when going to the club that nothing was on no entertainment no amusements and that we could go in to bar for a max 2hours and that children had to stay in there seats and only 1 person to leave the table to go to bar by this time it was to late complain and anytime I went to complain about it I was told that they were just following government guidelines but that’s not what the email stated I’ve never been to such a shocking caravan park in all my life I’ve also tried several times to call and complain but no answer I can honestly say that I will never use a park dean site ever again I’ve never been so disappointed in all my life and my kids holiday was a disaster.

Parkdean Key Worker Ignorance

Booked a Holiday but with wrong dates in error. Even though making a second booking, they will keep £140 of your hard-earned money to cancel the other trip, no customer service or allowance for a Key Worker making an error.

No services available not a good enough reason

Booked a long weekend as a treat for me and my three boys. As the soft play, swimming pools and bowling alleys aren't open I don't want to go as I'm on my own and it'll be too hard to entertain them by myself. Rang to request a refund due to not having a fully functioning park, like when I booked, and was told it wasn't a good enough reason and I would lose all my money due to travelling on the 17th. If a pandemic is not a good enough reason I'm not sure there ever will be. Not impressed, very deflated and my sons will never see a Parlsdean resort again. Not sure how this company sleeps!

Booked a 4 day break

Booked a 4 day break to Toquay only paid deposit, then the lockdown came and site was closed, they then said the
site would open on July 6th, we were due to take holiday on July 6th, but we live in Wales and under travel restrictions emailed parkdean a number of times when they would eventually answer it was a fob off, because I didn't pay balance because not allowed to travel they cancelled my holiday tried to make contact about my deposit refund but no joy in getting a reply and the phones are joke, although travel restrictions are being lifted now on 6th July there has been nothing confirmed about crossing the border into England. extremely poor customer service wouldn't book with company again

Appalling customer service experience

They take your money quickly enough but do not pay refunds promptly. We should have arrived on 22April 2020 and have been told we won’t get our refund until September 2020

Fantastic experience.

Booked a holiday with Parkdean, before the lockdown for during lockdown. Obviously this had to be cancelled, which was upsetting, however Parkdean provided a full refund, within 28 days.
