Parkgate commenced professional practice in 1974 managing blocks from a base in South London. In 1999 it merged with its north London associate, Aspen Estates, to become Parkgate-Aspen Limited [PA]. Over the past 45 years PA has accumulated a large and loyal client base of mainly resident-owned (or tenant -controlled) blocks of flats and more recently ‘Right to Manage’ companies. The vast majority of PA’s clients and properties have been retained with good service for over 25 years. PA does not advertise nor has it acquired other management companies to expand its base. New clients have come solely by recommendation from satisfied clients and residents. Unlike most other agents, PA does not indulge in lettings or sales, and is thus able to devote 100 percent of resources and training to the function of management, responding to residents’ needs and maintaining the quality of living in their properties. PA is a foundation member of the Association of Residential Managing Agents [ARMA] which regulates its conduct, standards and the security of clients’ funds. Additionally, PA has achieved ISO-9001:2015 British Standards’ accreditation which has been monitored and externally audited for the past 15 years.

This is an appalling out fit
Their accounts department is the worst I have ever experienced. It is out of control
They credit the wrong accounts
some payments arent’ credited to your account for service charges and they will not reply to questions
I have to keep a strict record of payments
I am looking into reporting h them to the regulator

We are concerned by these comments. Our service charge accounting follows structured procedures and internal controls, and any missing or misallocated payment is corrected as a priority once we have the necessary information.

Each client has a ring-fenced trust bank account and the correct bank details are provided with every service charge demand. We want to work with you and the bank to trace and recover any missing funds and help get to the root of the problem. We have already asked you to provide verification of the payment (bank account, Sort code, exact amount paid etc) so we can investigate further and await these details.

As we only recently took over management, it may be possible that payment was made to the previous managing agents in error. If you have a strict record of payments, please share this with us - we would like to help.

Had an appalling experience with this…

Had an appalling experience with this property management company. I called seeking clarification regarding my bills. The lady, Chelsea, was extremely unhelpful, rude and came across as super entitled. Avoid! Not to mention their service charges are extremely high!

Awful property management - do not move to buildings managed by them

Has been managing the property at 39 New Cavendish Street since I moved in 3 years ago. Every year the building boiler stops working and it takes over a week to fix. I would avoid all properties managed by this company.

The “prompt” repair refers to complains made by tenants starting late December 2025 that haven’t been fixed till Jan 12th. They are currently being reviewed by Westminster Councils Environment and Safety team. Please reach out to me if you have any more questions about this business.

Thank you for your review. We have only recently entered our second year of management at this property, so we have not been responsible for the building throughout the period you mentioned.

Regarding the recent boiler issue, contractors replaced a faulty part without delay, but a second component unfortunately then failed, which extended the repair time.

As a sub‑tenant, we invite you to ask your landlord to contact us in future should they require any information and we will be happy to assist.

Managing agent of my block of flats

Managing agent of my block of flats. Poor communication on major issues affecting leaseholders, with requests for significant sums of money without proper explanation, no provision of quotes or estimates when requested, and resistance when challenged with legitimate concerns. Chelsea-Louise was especially rude and obstinate, and is not fit to be in a customer facing role.

I wanted to send a glowing report on the service Soulla provided during my recent flat sale. She was exceptionally helpful, going the extra mile to help me with required paperwork. She was not only quick to respond, but also did so with such a kind manner. I am so grateful for her help and support. She went above and beyond to gather all documentation that I needed when I was under such a time pressure. I can’t thank her enough!

I would like to thank Sol Unsdorfer…

I would like to thank Sol Unsdorfer from Parkgate Aspen Management for his guidance and assistance when dealing with a leaseholder who made unlawful alterations to a property in our residential block.
Sol who has legal expertise, helped the board of directors to navigate their way through a very challenging legal battle. His firm negotiating expertise helped our residents association to ensure that : the leaseholder restore their property to its previous condition and to retrieve almost all legal costs to bring this to a satisfactory close. Thank you again Sol for this great outcome.

Whilst we regret any inconvenience, management is not responsible for inherent building defects and cannot interfere with a developer's remediation efforts while they are the subject of litigation with landlords. All we can do in such regrettable circumstances is update tenants with such news as is shared with us. And that we have done throughout, as the official residents' association have attested.
