I own a share of the freehold in the block of flats where I live. I have experience of 4 management agencies. The first was bad and ripped us off a bit. We bought the freehold and chose to move to a company called "Urban Owners" who were much better and really organised but sold their business after a few years to a company called "Warwick" who were absolutely terrible. We transferred to Vestra 5 years ago as they used the same computer system that Urban Owners used. What a breath of fresh air! We have the limited management service and organise most of our own contractors but there is always someone available to take a call and offer advice and the owner Glen is knowledgeable and generous with his time and expertise. The basic functions of rent collection, accounts, etc are all done efficiently. I have no reservations in recommending Vestra to anyone who runs a small block.

Being a tenant in one of the blocks this company manages, my experience with their services is mixed. On the one hand, when they do send employees to take care of things like a stuck garbage chute or fixing stuff around the building, those employees are usually polite and helpful, so that is good. On the other hand, my experience with their customer service line has been negative, with their representatives being rude and condescending. At least problems get resolved when they ultimately pick up the phone.
