Nothing Parallels Parallax on Simplicity

Parallax makes all sorts of microcontroller boards and sensors. They are geared for young robotics students and education. Their Board of Education (BOE) kit comes with everything you need in hardware to start learning programming. All you need is a PC and download the free and easy to use PBASIC Integrated Design Environment (IDE). PBASIC is Parallax's BASIC language and interpreter built right into their PSTAMP microcontrollers. It's very easy to use and great for learning how to program microcontrollers. The BS2 is a very versatile micro computer on a chip and it comes with the BOE kit. The documentation is excellent. I always keep one on hand for rapid prototyping.
